This was a decent story and I somewhat enjoyed both the hero and the heroine, Joe and Luna. However, nothing really stood out making it a great book.

Say No To Joe? was a humorous romance, the characters were well fleshed out, and I laughed so hard I snorted while I waited for my bus. Which led to someone saying 'bless you' to me

I just could not get into this book. I feel like Foster's early work just isn't as good as her later stuff.

I read this book when it first came out and re-read it again as a reissue because it is so good. Lori Foster has a way with creating her characters and this is one highly engaging book. Luna is a quirky woman who constantly needs to change her hair color. Joe is her opposite as he is the alpha male and a bounty hunter to boot. When the two get together, he gets much more than he bargained for when he agrees to accompany Luna to Visitation whereby she can obtain guardianship of her two cousins after the passing of their mother. However there is mystery afoot….Who wants her out of town and why? This is one storyline that combines a bit of it all from intrigue to suspense and romance thrown into the mix. Can opposites attract? I would tell you but you need to read this book. I also recommend reading the others in this series.
I volunteered to read a copy provided by Netgalley.

"Say No To Joe?" is a reissue of a 2003 book. I found Luna and Joe's story highly entertaining and a great read for any romantic.

Joe gets more than he bargained for when he goes with Luna to Visitation N.C. Luna asks Joe to go with her to the small town while she takes guardianship of her two young cousins after the death of their mother. This is where the story picks up speed with mystery, drama, intrigue, romance, and heartwarming fun. Every character plays such an important part in the telling of this story, you won't be able to put it down. It keeps you turning the pages to find Luna and Joe's HEA with the kids.

Lori Foster has a way with words in the descriptions of her characters and the scenes taking place throughout her books that finds the reader engaged into the story. I would like to thank NetGalley and Kensington/Zebra Books for gifting me "Say No To Joe". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 4.75 Stars!

If you like a very easy to read story with some angst, lots of humor, and a pretty cool love story, this is a great sit down read. I enjoyed the fun of the characters as they worked out their differences as well as learned that not everyone is easy to get. It reminds us that good things are worth working for and that you never should judge a book by its cover, no matter how pretty it is.

Lori Foster has a way with words. This was a hilarious story about Joe and Luna. Joe is the typical alpha male. He thinks that he is just looking to have a good time, but he quickly realizes how wrong that is. Luna is quirky, and I love her constantly changing hair. It is a romance, but it has plenty of suspense and intrigue. Who is Willow and Austin’s father? Why does someone want them out of town? And I love the addition of Jamie in the book! I definitely recommend reading this book, and all of the other books in the Visitation series.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.

What a super re-release. Say No to Joe stands the test of time. This series is fun and flirty, and I recommend them highly. The book can stand alone, but the other characters in the series are as interesting and engaging as Joe, so you'll probably be obtaining all the books, as I have. Lori Foster writes with humor and passion, and Say No to Joe is a sweet, silly, fun romance. It's perfect for that afternoon in the hammock.

Fun, lighthearted, and sweet, this is a great romance! There really is no way not to love this book. A great cast of characters and a hint of danger made this an easy book to fall into. So much potential for additional stories too!

A good read. I liked the couple, but it was the kids who stole the book!

This book was not enjoyable., the storyline was all over the place, you figured out early on who was responsible for the "issues"; it was predictable.

"Say No to Joe" is a reissue of an early Lori Foster book from 2003 and stands the test of time quite well. It is a warm, funny, sexy romp that your will really enjoy, a romance with humor and a touch of mystery/suspense - I LOVE IT!! Joe Winston is a cousin to the Winston Brothers. We met him in "Wild". We also met Luna in that book too.

Luna's family is not close, to say the least. Her cousin died 2 years and left 14 year old Willow and 9 year old Austin orphans. Other relatives have tried, and failed, to be their guardians and there seems to be some trouble with the townspeople too. Luna is next in line to try and handle the kids and the situation. Fearing trouble with the townspeople, she tries to hire Joe to help with the situation. Joe has his own reasons to make himself scares for a period of time and agrees to go along as long as Luna understands he really, really wants her.

Luna and Joe have chemistry, but Luna does not want to give in to it. They were followed when they left Joe's and what that will mean for Luna and the kids is part of the mystery.

One of my all-time favorites from Lori Foster. Luna and Joe were awesome together. I could probably read this book multiple times and never get sick of it.

You can never go wrong with a Lori Foster book and I am so glad she is reissuing some of her previous titles! This book is the start of a spin off series from the Winston Brothers. It covers their cousin Joe Winston and Luna Clark. Luna has just been informed that 2 young cousins of hers have been orphaned and need a new guardian as other family members keep leaving them. But there has also been trouble surrounding them and she needs help to deal with that. So she asks Joe to help handle the problems that seem to crop up since that is what he is good at. I have to say, I love this book! Joe and Luna together just crack me up, and then you throw in side characters and it just gets better! Joe is tough and thinks he doesn't need (or want) a woman permanently in his life. Until he spends actual time with Luna and realizes exactly what he needs and wants. And then throw in two great kids who need someone there who will love them? It's excellent! Luna is used to everyone leaving. When she finds out about her young cousins she makes the choice that they will not feel like that any longer. She will do whatever she has to to make sure they know they are wanted and taken care of. And the way she does it, even with knowing nothing about kids, is a beautiful thing to read. I am so glad I got the chance to re read this book! Definitely well worth it and made me go back and re read the others in this series!

Luna needs Joe’s help but he’s buck-naked with 2 women trying to wake him up. What a way to start a book. This whole book is exciting like this. It’s a great book. It starts out good and keeps your interest all the way to the end. There are kids who need Luna as a guardian. Joe goes along as a bodyguard and a friend. But the bad guy goes along, too. And there’s also another guy following them, who is he and why is he following them? There are mysterious things happening but it just keeps getting better. I loved this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from the Netgalley.

This was one of the most entertaining books! I absolutely loved it! The beginning had me fooled. I'm not a huge fan of the ultimate player who thinks marriage is worse than jail and the beginning was focused on Joe's playboy ways a bit too much. But once Luna asked for Joe's help, I was pleasantly surprised to see how much Joe was gone for Luna and the story just got better and better.

Luna is being asked to take over guardianship of her 14 and 9 year old cousins that she didn't even know about. Since their single mom passed away, they've been passed from one relative to another. Luna has been informed there is some issues with the children and the townsfolk so she asks Joe to come with her, temporarily, to help get things settled. Joe is a former policeman turned bounty hunter, then bodyguard. If anyone can deal with any trouble to come along, it's Joe.

I can't really say enough how much I loved this story. I love small town settings because you get a lot of side characters that play a small, but noticeable part in the story. Add in kids who just need someone to love them and I was a goner. Joe, a former playboy, becoming a protector and all domesticated was just icing on the cake.

This author has me loving these people in the story so much I had to go see if any of them have their own book and I'm so excited to see she does. Especially Jamie Creed. I'm not sure if his book can hold up to the hype of his character in this book but I'm not wasting time to go find out. ARC provided by NetGalley.

ARC received for review

This is a reprint of a 2003 book, and as far as I can tell hasn't been updated. Joe buys the kids a VCR and tapes. Very sweet romance between Luna and Joe with some intrigue and action and a little angst. Very sweet kids who've had a rough time that you will just fall in love with. There's a bunch of other peeps who I think have had stories or will. Jamie Creed is spooky.

Every woman falls for Joe not one ever says no except Luna. She says no all the time but now she needs his help. He travels with her to another state for a personal reason. He protects her and her reason like a mama bear protecting her babies.
Luna is now seeing another side of Joe can she continue to say no??

Say No to Joe?, by Lori Foster is a contemporary romance with some suspense and a slight mystery underlying the theme of family and love.

Despite the story starting with Joe Winston recovering from injuries occurring after a date, he proclaims that he's interested in Luna Clark and has been wanting to date her for months. His statements and dating actions don't quite match up, yet he doesn't date another woman after Luna shows up at his house requesting help.

As the new guardian of her late cousin's kids, Luna is moving to a small town to care for the kids she's never met. Since there are unknown individuals attempting to hurt her new family, Luna invites Joe along to help them. While Joe is definitely an alpha with protective hero tendencies, despite his bad-boy style and intense work history, he has also attracted danger that follows him to their new town.

As the story continues, Joe and Luna attempt a relationship with a lot of drama and danger surrounding them and the kids, who are adorably entertaining in their interactions with Joe and Luna. This book is a reissue, which is quite evident with the mention of VCRs and movie rental shops.

Say No to Joe? is geared towards those who enjoy reading contemporary romances with a little mystery intermixed in the story.
