Joe Winston can have any woman he wants by just looking at them except for the one that he wants. Luna Clark, who has made it clear that she is too smart to fall for the likes of Joe Winston. But Luna inherited two children who need more than what can be given to them in a small down, she needs help, she needs someone like Joe. He may not have wanted an instant family, but the bounty hunter can give them the protection they need. Before they can get too comfortable, they head to North Carolina where someone is causing accidents to happen and Joe has to figure out where the danger is coming from.
Say No to Joe? Is probably one of the best Lori Foster books I've read and my favorite of the series with Jamie being a close second. Luna is a feisty, savvy woman who can more than handle the alpha Joe Winston. I really enjoyed these two characters and the relationship they built together as a couple and with her orphaned cousins. He's the man she didn't know she needed, but everything she ever wanted.
This has been an entertaining surprise, if I do say so, a funny yet thrilling story with a mix of all things exciting such as love, attempted murder, and other hidden mysteries, these gave the story an enticing endearing quality, with an explosive and fiery chemistry between Joe and Luna. Their natural caring and love for the kids made them a star in my book, the lustful romance brewing between these two is electrifying and rather spicy. The situations the kids find themselves in is all due to certain individual's misconception, extreme prejudiced, lies and betrayal along with their misguided views. The characters of this story are wonderful, the storyline is excellent, and Willow and Austin are really cool kids, not forgetting Luna and Joe they make one crazy couple, this has been an absolute fun and gem of a story.
I have to say I am a huge Lori Foster fan and after reading some of her more recent series I stumbled across "Say No To Joe?". As usual we are presented with an alpha male and a strong woman with Joe and Luna. As we see the attraction between the two simmer we are brought along on Luna's quest to do the right thing for her niece and nephew (who you fall in love with immediately). But danger seems to follow and as the attraction comes to a boil so does everything else around them.
A definite read. I received a copy of this book through NetGalley and this is my honest review.
This is a re-release under a different cover but it is my first time reading this particular Lori Foster title and just like all her others this is fantastic!
This book about Joe and Luna is heart wrenching and comical. The story is a beautiful one where friendship becomes more and family stands up for one another. It has a bit of action in it as well. The characters are too funny and the situations they can find themselves in are too.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
A fun read! Joe cracks me up, and love Luna too. What a great couple, and the adventure of taking on two young kids made for a non-stop read. Hard to put this one down. Great writing, great characters and a great story-line. What is not to like here? Highly recommend this book and author, it made me run a gamut of emotions, and overall a wonderful book.
Say No to Joe was an interesting book, I loved every word and just couldn't pit it down. I loved the whole mysteries things going on during the story. it had me on my toes. I will definitely be reading the other books in this series. I really enjoyed this one.
Lori Foster did it again, excellent story. The book is a fabulous read. . The story kept me on my toes from the first page to the last. I loved the characters in this book. Joe is an alpha male, hot and yummy. Luna is a perfect match. I really enjoyed how the relationships between the adult and kids evolved, very realistic. If you are looking for a heart warming romance with hot, steamy scenes, then this book is for you. This book is prime example why Lori Foster is one of my favorite authors.
This is a reprint of a Lori Foster’s first book in her Visitation, North Carolina series. I always enjoy Foster’s books, but I think this book shows that she put more effort into her characterizations earlier in her writing career. The book continues the Foster staple of a really built alpha hero who sets out to protect the woman he’s attracted to. The guy in this book is Joe Winston who has prided himself on never committing to all the women who fall for him. But Luna Clark is just different for him. When she shows up asking his help to drive down to NC to help her establish herself as guardian to her cousin’s two kids, he jumps in his truck to take care of things for her.
Joe, a former policeman and bounty hunter, has an enemy from his past set to get him. The two kids have an unknown enemy seeking to drive them from the town of Visitation. But Joe finds a new meaning in his life helping Luna and falling for the two, very sweet kids. Luna is resistant until she can resist no more. The bad guys attack, but Joe is there to defend them all in his best alpha fashion.
The book is a fun read. Both Joe and Luna are very likeable and the kids are a joyful addition You don’t need to read the other Winston books in the series, but you’ll enjoy this book so much, you’ll want to search them out.
I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
It's hard to say no to Joe. Great looking, alpha male , Joe, can have any woman he wants except for Luna, and of course, she is the one he wants. When she asks him for help, she gets more than she bargained for in this 2003 romance reissue. Enjoyable.
Tried to DL but had issues. Waited a few days and tried again... Issues remained.
A couple of days later this message was noted "Downloading and/or reviewing is currently not possible for this title. This could mean the publisher has not yet provided the final content, or the content has been removed. "
This book is a reissue and I read it when it was first published. This book is part of a series and I really enjoyed every book in this series. Lori Foster writes a wonderful story with characters that you you can relate too. She is always a big seller in my bookstore
In true Lori Foster fashion this book has lovable characters, enough steamy moments to power a train and the right amount of suspense to keep you turning pages. I loved Joe and Luna, and while I had not read the book on Zane I didn't feel like I was missing anything. Joe quickly establishes why he's the alpha male this series leads off with and Luna has enough spunk to keep it fresh. If you love a lighthearted romance with a bit of suspense this is a must read.
I was approved for a reader copy from the publisher via Netgalley, due to technical issues I was unable to download it but my Granny had this paperback so I read it that way!
Lori Foster is one of my favorite authors. Her storytelling is always believable and easy to follow. Her books are always hard to put down, this book was no different.
Joe Winston is one hot and sexy male, and you cant help but fall in love with him. Luna is his perfect match for him. I loved their chemistry between them., and how the story line unfolds!
This book is a MUST read! you will not be disappointed!
