This is the second book in this series I have read and I have to admit that I loved this one just as much as the one before it. The way Ms. Zanetti builds her characters and the situations they find themselves dealing with is just... *sigh* fantastic. They can be funny or frustrating, loving or drive you mad, but they are all different in their own ways and there is always a secret or two waiting around the corner that's going to cause some drama. Legit drama too, not drama for drama’s sake, if you know what I'm saying.
Watching Bear and Nessa learn that there is so much more to life than work was beautiful. Let's just say they both surprise each other in the best of ways. Can't really say more without giving away some of the fun little things you'll find out when you read the story.
I can't wait for the next book in this series!!
Nessa and Bear are the perfect example of opposites attract. Bear is wild and passionate whereas Nessa is prim and proper and all put together. But getting Bear to trust her is the only thing on her mind, for more than one reason. Letting Nessa into his inner circle is the last thing that Bear wants to do but she just might be the only one who can help him heal on a cellular level. Plus she wants to mate him to gain something for herself. He has no choice but to let her in. But neither of them expected to find their interaction to be so explosive. And for Nessa betraying Bear is turning out to be the last thing that she wants to do.
Beauregard/Bear knew someone was in his cabin. Bear was a Grizzly Bear shifter and Alpha of the Grizzly Bear nation. Bear was also a loner and he liked his privacy as anyone who knew Bear knew to stay out of his space. The door of his cabin was open and then a woman came into view and said to Bear “ there you are”. Then bear knew she was a witch. She asked Bear to change back. To human form and they needed to talk. That took a little longer than usual since Bear had barely been out of bear form in the last three months. But that hadn’t helped his health and it was still not good. Then anger went through Bear as he said what is a coven nine witch doing in my cabin ? Bear couldn’t remember her name but he did remember seeing her in Ireland at witch headquarters and she was a council member but that had been months ago. She was on the ruling council of witches and should have security all around her. Bear said everyone called him Bear. His people were no longer enemies with the witches although Bear didn’t like witches. Then Bear remembered her name it was Nessa and asked why she was there. Bear did find Nessa pretty and intriguing. Bear was dying and Nessa sensed it. Nessa said she just wanted to talk. Bear said he was neither civilized not part of people. Bear had torn himself half apart metaphysically as he was a hybrid as he was half dragon and half bear and a shifter is suppose to be only one true form. Bear had shifted into a dragon and that had really taken a toll on him. Bear kne it had been suicide to shift into a dragon but it had saved his younger half sister -Simone- and Bear had known the risk. Simone was now safe and Bear felt it was worth it. Nessa asked Bear if he knew how witch powers worked Then Bea said something about quantum physics and altering matter. Nessa told Bear she could heal him internally by the application of a subatomic level. Most witches can create fire but a very few can’t those very few are healers. Nessa is a healer. She had only known of a total of ten healers. Simone had sent Nessa but there was a cost ,which was to mate with her and Bear told Nessa his species mate for life. Nessa said she was a century old and she was tired of following all the rules and being on the council and creating laws. This would give Nessa freedom. Nessa’s parents had been killed by a demon squad. Two witches came hunting for Nessa as there was a million dollar bounty on Nessa’s head . bear killed one of the witches but got hurt buy the witches fire and Nessa fought the other witch but as he ran off he said others were coming for her. Bear had passed out and Nessa dragged him into the cabin. Nessa did some healing on Bear but she was not really sure she could completely heal Bear. Nessa had never felt that before. Then Bear awoke and kissed Nessa and she had never been kissed like that before with complete focus and leisure. Lucas was Bear’s second in command and showed up at his cabin surprised Bear was back as he thought Bear would be gone longer. Lucas was also Bear’s best friend and had been three decades. Bear is determined to protect Nessa.and find out who was after Nessa and making Apollo.
I liked this story a lot. I liked the plot and pace of the story This had: suspense, mystery, shifters, witches, bounty hunters, drugs, a hybrid and much more. I chuckled at times while reading this. I really enjoyed the interplay between Bear and Nessa and their chemistry together. At first I wasn’t fond of Nessa but that did change. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend.
I was fortunate enough to have gotten a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for a review which I am happy to provide. Even though I am a fan of Rebecca Zanetti, I have not been faithfully following the series, but I was familiar enough with most of the characters that it was not a problem at all to follow along in the storyline. I liked Bear and Nessa, the only thing I didn't care for was when they were physically fighting, that did not do anything for me, otherwise the chemistry was good between them and the overall story was interesting, though at times a bit slow. Plenty of action and some steamy lovemaking. Not dull for sure.
Loved it! This series keeps getting better. I am sad it's ending and hope there will be another series set in this world.
I was so glad when Bear finally got his own story! I have been waiting for his book, and Zanetti did not disappoint! It was the perfect ending to the series! This is not a standalone book! You definitely need to read the previous books in the series to understand what is happening. Nessa is a witch who needs protecting, and Bear is the man for the job. The two come to an agreement to help each other, and sparks fly when the two come together. Nessa is a strong and passionate woman, and the two are constantly butting heads. They each have their own secrets, but can they work together? Can Bear forgive Nessa after he learns her secret? It was an action-packed book, and I could not put it down until the end!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
I've read every book in this series and thoroughly enjoyed them all! This is a great conclusion to the story arc relating to the drug Apollo, created to target and destroy witches while also killing humans in the bargain. We get a grizzly shifter in this one, Bear, who has been a secondary character in previous books as the leader of the Grizzly MC and his romance with witch Nessa.
Nessa is unique among witches for her super secret role in the witch realm as well as her capacity to heal and both these factors play a part in this story. Initially she's investigating Bear as the Grizzly MC is suspected to be involved with the manufacture and distribution of Apollo, but she soon discovers she's gotten more than she bargained for when the searing sexual attraction between them means that a 'mating of convenience' isn't going to last long.
As in previous books there are some steamy sex scenes, as well as plenty of secondary characters (most of them familiar to readers of the series) and lots of action to make the book an exciting read. While this may be the end of the Realm Enforcers, I definitely hope to read more of the world this author created first in the Dark Protectors series and now this one. Dragons next perhaps? I'll be tuning in to find out!

As always Rebecca Zanetti provides a thrilling and exciting edge of your seat read.
Bear is amazing. We have been watching him throughout the series and he surpasses expectations. The story is raw and emotional while keeping the fast pace we have come to expect. He demands honesty and loyalty and his rule is absolute.
Nessa has come to Bear with an agenda but plans can change. Things are not as they seem on either side. It will take both of them to discover the truth and make it right.
Finally! Bear gets his book. I feel like I've been waiting forever for Bear to get his HEA and now I get to find out what he's all about in this final book of the Realm Enforcers Series, Wicked Bite.
This is going to be a tough review to write because there's so much I want to cover but not give any of the plots away. So I'm going to keep my lips zipped tight but there are a few questions I can answers. Apollo, yes we find out who is behind it. No, I see it coming because I was too busy enjoying what was happening between Nessa and Bear. Bear more than meets his match in Nessa. I didn't think there could be a more secretive character in this series than Cee Cee from Wicked Edge - I was wrong. Nessa is wicked smart and has some crazy ideas that keep both Bear and us readers, on our collective toes. Poor guy, just when he thinks he's got in under control she throws a giant secret curveball at him. Let's not forget the hotness that goes on between Bear and Nessa, and yet her conditions on becoming mated but not bonding. Now that was some funny stuff right there!
Lots of action and adventure with past characters coming to help out. Poor King, he's always been underestimated and questioned. LOL!!! Best part we get to find out what is going on in their lives. All the stories lines get tied up quite nicely here but the journey to get there is fast paced and wicked fun. Be prepared to be up all night reading because this is one book that will be hard to put down.
When I first started this series, I immediately fell in love with it. Exciting, funny, and sexy, this series had it all. I was also feeling a bit lost as I was very new to Ms. Zanetti's books. Now that the Realm Enforcers Series has ended, I think it's time I get those lingering questions answered...like King. So even though I must bid this series a fond farewell, I know I have another exciting adventure to look forward to. Grab yourself a copy Wicked Bite and get ready for a fun ride!

I absolutely loved Wicked Bite and was immediately pulled back into Rebecca Zanettis paranormal world....
I've read almost every book by this author and while I still love and am highly addicted to her Scorpious series, her Realm Enforcers had lost a bit of their luster for me.....right up until this one that is. I absolutely loved the alpha bear, Bear and couldn't get enough of him. This was fast paced and exciting from the first page to the last. It was more similar to her earlier work and couldn't put it down.
There were old characters as well as new additions, and had a fresh and exciting plot, while still trying to solve the mystery of who is distributing a dangerous drug to witches and humans alike.
Definitely a four star, engaging read!
Oh man, Bear is such a loner and just wanted die in peace. He put himself at risk to save his half sister in a book previously and is dying because of what happend there. When he meets the fiesty witch who says she can heal him but only if he mates her he is amused and not interested. Lots of drama goes on in this book and lots of backstabbing and betrayal from someone out to get Nessa. I totally didn't expect it so kudos to the author for fooling me! Really good book.
Wicked bitte is one of the best books that I read this summer. Like I said before this author can't do no wrong. The style it is written the plot, characters, everything is perfectly combined together so pages just flew by. I m not in the shape shifters but this story is just awesome. Both Bear and Nessa are easy to love and strong. Their story is unique and I loved how unpredictable the story was. I loved Bear and his instinct of possession toward Nessa. The end is also completely unpredictable and I loved it.
Highly recommended.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly
Loved finally seeing Bear get a mate and heal from his time as a dragon! His witch is his perfect foil. And finally a conclusion to who is trying to destroy the witches!

BEAR! It’s been a long time coming and finally I was able to cuddle up with Bear! I believe this is the last in the Realm Enforcers series. And Zanetti saved the best for last.
This story brings us to the end where we are able to find answers to questions we have had since book one of this series. Which also means that this can not be a stand alone. But then since Zanetti is quickly becoming the Queen of Paranormal Romance I am not sure why anyone wouldn’t want to pick up every one of her books and read them all.
Which I enjoyed is the look back at some major characters from previous books. It was a bit of a family reunion of sorts.
Nessa is a great character but as you can see Bear steals this story. I have waited and waited for Bear to fall in love and the story was worth waiting for!

I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
WICKED BITE is the book I have been so looking forward to and it is fantastic. I love Bear and his bearlike demeanor, gruff but underneath lovable. Nessa always seemed like one of the good "guys" on the council, gentle, honest and kind. Almost immediately we realize that there is much more to her going to see Bear than a promise to Simone, she has her secrets too, and they will be quite a surprise when it all comes out. But the biggest shocker was who the real "bad" guy is who is making and selling Apollo. Nice twists to an already amazing read.
There is so much that happens in WICKED BITE, so the pace will keep you glued to the pages. I will warn readers to map out a good chunk of time because it's hard to find a "put it down" spot. Some of the plots include Nessa having a bounty hunter after her, she's trying to make a deal to mate but not mate, stop Apollo after it had started up again and not fall in love with Bear. Impossible tasks but we get to enjoy watching her try to make it all work out. I have to admit that I got a kick out of Bear, after finding out who Nessa really is (you will have to read the book for that), his immediate reaction was to get rid of her. That lasted about five minutes then he was back to planning to claim the woman who had stolen his heart ... just no more lies. In Nessa's defense she didn't actually lie, she just didn't tell him everything.
I think you will love this roller coaster ride with this seemingly mismatched couple, who are in truth exactly what the other needs.

Loved this book so much!! The series is the bomb I can't to read more!!!
Fast paced from the first page! Steamy scenes and edge of your seat thrills! Can't wait to read more from this author!
ARC given by publisher/Netgalley in exchange for honest review
This book is the first I have read by this author, though she has been on my TBR for ages. I am glad to say that, even though I did not read this series in order, since this is the first one, I am glad I started with this one. It was a good opening to this author, and has definitely made me want more from her. So you can bet I most definitely plan to hopefully start this series from the beginning.
I really enjoyed it. Not only was this a first time author for me, but also the first Bear shifter book I've ever read. Sure, I've read Wolf shifter before, but that is about it. But I was hooked on Bear from teh get go. His broodiness and attitude fit being well...a bear.
The pace of this book was perfect, and kept me turning pages long after I probably should've set my kindle down. The plot was a bit much, but the world building and characters was very much likeable. Very glad I read.
Rebecca Zanetti has done it again. Wicked Bite lives up to it's name. I can safely say, I may have had a crush on Bear since we met him in Wicked Ride. I might have even been a little annoyed at Zanetti for making him such a minor character in Wicked Kiss, along with making him sick. All that is now forgiven because WOW did she do it right!
I wondered about Nessa, when we met her in Wicked Kiss. There was definitely more than meets the eye with her. One of the signs of a well written and created character, is that they evoke an emotional response from you. Oh, let me tell you, I wanted to shake or smack Nessa more than once during this book! Her AND Bear, if we're going to be honest.
This is a must read for anyone that has enjoyed the Realm Enforcers. The action is fast paced, the plot is tight and the characters are engaging. Oh and did I mention it's HOT?!?!? Where can I get a grizzly alpha of my own?
