This is a quirky Southern mystery, set in a small town in Louisiana with the interesting twist of having identical twin sisters as amateur sleuths. The book is written in the first person of Eve, who lives a block away from her twin Sunny and the two run a home repair and renovation business together. As the book begins, Sunny is depressed because she had to give her grandson Noah, who had been living with her during his parents' illness, back to the parents who live in Houston. Both Eve and Sunny are friends of Dave (and Eve would like to be more than just friends), and when Dave asks Eve to look at a fishing camp he just bought and wants to renovate. When they get to the camp they discover a dead body and the three get involved in investigating "who did it" together, The twist and turns in the plot, the Southern charm, the family interaction (especially when their mother and her cohorts from assisted living get involved) all make this book a real charmer.
