A textbook for an introductory college course in logic written with a Christian perspective and designed for Christian institutions.

The authors are thorough and detailed. They explain the terms used in logic and provide many examples of logical arguments and their fallacies. They lead the reader through the various types and forms of logic, how they are to be used, and why they are effective.

As reading material, however, the work is extremely dense and challenging. One must maintain a strong command of all the terms previously used since they quickly become abbreviated and presumed. One must also learn all the signs used in logical discourse and what they mean and have a quick command of it. The logic soon gets turned into abstract letters with almost mathematical, algebraic functioning.

This is good for a deep exploration into logic. Not so good for casual reading.
