This book does a good job of explaining a ketogenic diet and the benefits of using the diet to fight cancer. Parts were dry, but in a book on this subject, that is to be expected.

Even if one is not dealing with cancer, this book is a worthy approach to maintain and improve health and increase feelings over overall wellbeing.
Based on the author’s extensive clinical experience and skill the diet’s application of cancer remediation, this book lays out a worthwhile approach that seems to provide a much greater likelihood of dealing with cancer than the western medicine approach, in my opinion after reading this book.

Interesting enough but I felt it was bit a dry. I would have liked more recipes.

As a person who believes in natural methods to cure disease, I was very interested to read Keto for Cancer. I have followed a ketogenic diet and have been very interested to note how it has helped people with many different medical issues.

I appreciate the author’s sharing of her son’s cancer diagnosis. She first used the ketogenic diet to help him when there were no other options for treatment. Although it didn’t ultimately cure him, it did slow the cancer enough to give him more time. She eventually went back to school to study nutrition and is now in private practice helping her patients through the use of the ketogenic diet.

The book was fascinating. The science behind why it works and how to use the diet are all outlined within.

I don't have cancer but I have an enormous family history of it. I currently have 3 great aunts and uncles all battling different types of cancer, and have seen many more family members fight battles the last five years or so. I started following a ketogenic diet myself back in late July and I have noticed how much better I feel so I wanted to gather information to share with my family. Keto For Cancer is a comprehensive overview. It explains the science behind the ketogenic diet, the difference between it vs. Atkins, and the author's personal journey with her own son. The beginning of the book is about the science and reads a little bit like a medical journal so it might be difficult for some to follow,  but after that the tone becomes more conversational. I really liked that the author included all of the things an oncologist might say to discourage a ketogenic diet, mostly due to lack of information on their part about the diet, so that you will be armed with the information of why this way of eating can help people dealing with cancer. Since Keto is a sugar free diet this makes total since to me since cancer feeds off of sugar. I recommend this book to not only anyone going through cancer, but to anyone with a family history of cancer.

A good resource for low carb dieting to delete inflammatory food from your diet. Keto is the new paleontology which is the new Adkins.

This is an excellent reference book for any cancer patient, caregiver, and even for someone who wants to learn about the Keto Diet that has become so popular. A lot of very useful information, some of which was giving recommended brand names on products that is referenced in the book, like a website to track your nutrient intake and make you become aware of your carb intake daily, Cronometer.
