Another fun installment in the Cold Fury series. I loved Lucas and his family. Without a doubt he has to be one of the most patient characters ever. And while I did enjoy the book, she annoyed me frequently. Can't wait for the next one!

The sexy men of the Cold Fury hockey team are back in this tale of a one-night stand that becomes so much more. When a man who enjoys the fame and female fans found in the hockey world finds a connection with a woman who knows nothing about love, the sparks fly in a charming tale balanced with exhilarating moments on and off the ice. From the first page to the last readers will find themselves falling for Lucas as he struggles to convince the hard-hearted woman he's fallen for that one-night can lead to HEA.

Lucas Fournier is the new guy on the team and loves the perks that come with being a hockey player...fame and gorgeous women. Though his brother, and fellow teammate Max, enjoys settling down he wants no part of it as he enjoys living life to the fullest and on his own terms. The night he sees a sexy and confident redhead at a museum benefit changes his life irrevocably though and gives him a chance at a HEA he never knew he wanted. The moment readers meet Lucas he's clearly enjoying being single, unrepentant in his views on embracing the single life and all the one-night stands available to him. His one night with Stephanie Frazier was memorable and while it's something he'd love to repeat there's big changes ahead for both of them when next he sees her. Lucas is extremely charming with a kind heart and a strong sense of family as they all love and support each other unconditionally. Starting off as friends-with-benefits soon has Lucas wanting more and I enjoyed how committed he became as the story progressed. He may have started out footloose and fancy-free but once he decided he wanted Stephanie he was all-in and with each word and deed he showed his growing commitment. He clearly wore his heart on his sleeve and with each turn of the page he endeared himself to me with his sweet and sexy nature.

Stephanie grew up in a family very different from the Fournier family. Her parents were cold and indifferent and spent little time treating her as their daughter, she was treated as an inconvenience. It taught her that she could only rely on herself and it's made her a strong-willed woman who lives life on her own terms. She never wants to be beholden to anyone and enjoys her one-night stands as she can be the one to walk away in the morning. All that changes though the minute she meets Lucas. Their connection is crackling and intense and the more fate pushes them together the more caught up they become in one another. Stephanie carries a lot of baggage due to her parent's indifference and it makes her a bit unlikable at times as she lashes out when feeling challenged. She's extremely guarded and Lucas had to work hard to learn even the smallest morsel about her. Whereas he was an open book she appeared standoffish. Her tendency to keep him at arm's length and keep their growing connection a secret was frustrating at times too and put a damper on all the sweetness Lucas cultivated throughout the story. Despite my frustration with her I still found them an entertaining couple whose journey to HEA had me rooting for them every step of the way as their romance made each of them better people.

This was a quick read full of heart and soul. Two people living only for themselves soon found themselves living for each other in a story that was sweet and sexy. Lucas and Stephanie were a combustible couple whose erotically-charged encounters were plentiful as they grew closer together over rare moments of baring their souls, particularly with Stephanie's issues of disclosure. Lucas was the highlight of this story as he was charming and sexy and matured with each turn of the page into the quintessential book boyfriend. Alongside their satisfying romance were glimpses into the hockey world as the Cold Fury worked their way towards The Stanley Cup. Readers also got to be reunited with Max and Jules, and their growing family, who were a good sounding board to both Lucas and Stephanie as they worked through their relationship. On a whole this was a delightful romance full of scorching encounters with a near-perfect hero and an emotionally-flawed heroine that had me eagerly turning the pages. With the intriguing epilogue featuring Lucas' teammate and roommate Van, and his clandestine encounter with Simone Fournier, I'm eagerly counting down the days until we hit the ice again.

Another Cold Fury Scorchingly sweet & hot win for the team! Lucas & Stephanie's characters are extremely explosive in the sexy department! I felt that their characters developed well and their reaction to the situations that happen felt real & relatable. They are captivating from page one for me till the very end. I couldn't stop reading and overall I finished the book in about 5 hours or so. I love all the feelers and heart you can feel is put into the book and how it sucks you in making you feel each & every one of them. From the shock of the news & it's reaction, the heat & intensity between the characters along with all the feelers that you get from the other characters in the story. Along with the angst of the hurt and pain felt and the feeling not good enough along with the fear of the unknown of what that future could hold if you just let go & jump. Last but not least the love and happiness that is spread throughout the whole story! This was another great reads for me and I truly hope that you will give it a chance. Hopefully you will love it as much as I do!

Book Review
Title: Lucas
Series: Cold Fury Hockey #8
Author: Sawyer Bennett
Genre: Sports Romance
Publication Date: September 19, 2017
Cliff Hanger: No

4 Stars

*This story is for mature audiences only. Contains explicit scenes and language intended for adults 18+

Synopsis:
The Carolina Cold Fury hockey team is stacked with hotshots. But when a new player joins their ranks, he learns that even superstars can’t go it alone when it comes to love.

Lucas Fournier is only serious about one thing: hockey. The league’s fun-loving charmer, Luc is always up for a good prank or a great lay, and he has no intention of settling down. But being traded to the Carolina Cold Fury—and to play alongside his big brother, Max—is no joke. With another title in sight, the last thing Luc wants is to let his new teammates down. To succeed, Luc will need to keep his head in the game and the most . . . er, demanding member of his anatomy in check. But when temptation hits, Luc hits back harder.

Museum curator Stephanie Frazier has always put business before pleasure, which just about explains her nonexistent sex life. But when Stephanie meets Luc at a champagne-fueled gala, she finds herself flirting like crazy—and going home with the uninhibited athlete. For one night, she learns what passion is all about. She just never counted on the little surprise Luc leaves behind. And that’s when things really start to get . . . interesting.

My Thoughts:
I love this series! I was so excited to read Luc’s book and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The characters were developed and there was plenty of steam to keep me turning those pages! Of course, Max, Jules and their family, as well as the other Cold Fury players were part of the secondary cast.

Did I mention I adored Luc? He is such a sweetheart that just made me swoon! He had it all going on! I know I say this every time I read one of these books, but I think Lucas is my favorite. Stephanie had me rooting for her throughout the book. She is a strong and fiercely independent and a little rebellious. She grew up in a very wealthy environment, boarding schools, money to spend but there was no love and attention from her parents. They had their careers and each other and that’s all they needed. Stephanie was raised by nannies. Her family is one for the record books! My heart hurt for her. That’s why she doesn’t want to get married, have children or let people get too close. They can’t hurt her if they don’t get close. Thank goodness, she meets Lucas! He comes from a strong and loving family. They have their one night stand and they both were rocked by their encounter, but they agreed to a fling and that’s it. Oh boy but fate intervenes and Lucas and Stephanie have to figure out what their futures are going to entail!

I blew through this because I couldn’t put it down. I was a little disappointed that there was no epilogue on Lucas and Stephanie. However, the lead in for the next book in the series Van has me eagerly awaiting its release!

If you love sports romance then you need to give this book a try!

Lucas was a great read and I think this is up there as one of my favourite books from the Cold Fury series.

Lucas is easily up there as one of my favourite guys and I loved how he was open, accepting and embracing of all the changes coming his way. Stephanie wasn't the easiest character to connect to given that she as so closed off but once we really got to see behind her facade, I found that I was really routing for her and this couple.

This was a really enjoyable fast paced read, that had plenty of steam and a nice dost of angst and drama to give that edge. I would happily recommend this book.

I'm not really sure how to write this review. But I shall do my best. I absolutely love Sawyer Bennett. The Cold Fury series is one of my favorite series. I read most of them over and over. But this one... Lucas... I just couldn't get into. From the beginning I immediately didnt like it. And that's okay. I just personally dont like how the story was starting off. (I'm not giving out spoilers) I've never been a big fan of that sort of thing. I ended up setting the book down, my first time doing that with a Bennett book, and hoping to come back to it. But this past week I just couldn't get into it still. So I ended up skipping around and skimming. This book just wasn't for me. Like I said, totally okay. :)

I'm still a huge fan of Sawyer Bennett and will eagerly read the next in this series. Sometimes we dont like everything an author writes and thats perfectly fine. I will be giving this book 3 stars because her books are always well written, edited fantastically, and have pretty covers. I hope people still give this book a chance and I'll root for it's success :)

What an addition to Cold Fury Hockey! Lucas..... Hot as sin! Hockey is his life and one night stands as they are always easy to find.... Playing with his brother Max is a dream.... and he loves to have a good time. Never wanting to get serious about much other than hockey. A one night stand that is the hottest sex of his life...one that changes his life in more ways than one.

Stephanie who works at a museum where Lucas is attending a gala finds him intriguing and jumps on the chance for a night of fun, find passion for the 1st time in her life. Leaving her a little confused on what to do next..... until life makes that decision for her and she has to find Lucas and explain a few things.

One night, filled with passion and life changing events... a girl who has never been loved by her non existence parents, a guys who only knows love and support from his family..... Can they figure out how to find common ground and learn to just feel and go for it?

There are some ups and downs, but a hot fun read that has you hooked for the first chapter.

On paper, there are not many similarities between Lucas Fournier and Stephanie Frazier; he’s the life of the party and she would rather be a party of one; he’s an easy going kind of guy and she’s strung so tight it’s difficult to get her to relax. But somehow these two opposites find themselves flirting and ultimately giving in to their sexual attraction and while the outcome of their night together is definitely not what either person would have wanted or even predicted, now that it’s done, determining how to move forward with someone who was supposed to be a one night stand…someone who is more of a stranger than a friend creates an array of issues that could be the start of a new adventure or the cause for Stephanie to be even more unapproachable.

Some readers will immediately be turned off by Stephanie’s “Ice Queen” demeanor, but in order to understand why Stephanie lives such a solitary life, readers need to give her the benefit of the doubt, at least at the beginning of the story, and witness the ways she changes when Lucas enters her life and becomes a permanent fixture due to an unexpected bond between them. There are reasons for Stephanie’s standoffish personality and Sawyer Bennett does a great job of illustrating how she became the closed-off woman that she is and why it’s so difficult for her to shed the layers of security/protection that she’s built up to shield herself from any further disappointment or pain at the hands of another person. Did I want Stephanie to wake up and acknowledge what Lucas means to her and why she needs to allow him to break through her fortified walls? Absolutely, but for someone so entrenched in guarding herself from everyone and everything, it’s not easy to open herself up, but somehow, Lucas uses his easy going charm to his advantage and ends up having a relationship with Stephanie that could potentially turn into something more than just friends with benefits.

Lucas is quite the swoonworthy hero. He works his butt off to show Stephanie who he is in hopes that she’ll let him in and share her burdens. There’s just something about a rough and tough guy who puts himself out there in unchartered territory despite the risks, and while Lucas knows there’s work to be done, he’s up for the challenge and through his own words and his actions, readers understand just how much he wants to show Stephanie how a true family acts and what they’re willing to do for one another, even when life changes their game plan.

What I like most about Lucas and Stephanie’s story is how Sawyer Bennett forces them to work on their relationship outside of sex in order to determine exactly how they’ll tackle the circumstances that they face. A physical connection is not what needs to be addressed when it comes to them trying to build something out of what was supposed to be a one-night stand or even friends with benefits, so giving them the time and the push they need to work through Stephanie’s issues as well as determining exactly what they mean to one another helps to illustrate exactly what Lucas and Stephanie would be possibly giving up by turning away from one another instead of towards each other.

Sawyer Bennett’s Cold Fury Hockey series is by far one of my absolute favorites of all time, and while the heroes may have some similarities, their uniqueness shines through, not only in the hockey positions they play but also in the kind of woman who brings them to their knees.

It's time for another season with the Carolina Cold Fury and this time we meet Lucas Fournier, younger brother to Max. And Lucas sure does have his hands full.
Lucas is the middle brother of the Fournier children, he loves to have fun, spend time with beautiful women and when he wants something, he goes after it. Meeting Stephanie at a museum fund raiser, the flirting begins and they both decide to leave early for a drink.
Stephanie Frazier is a loner and is OK with that, she doesn't need help from anyone. When Lucas offers her one night, she is all in because she knows who he is because she is a Cold Fury fan. And what woman in her right mind would turn down a night with Lucas Fournier.
Lucas wants to make a relationship with Stephanie but Stephanie doesn't think she can do that. Can he show her how to love? Can she give it a try? Can the surprise bring them together?
I love this series and each story is better than the last. And oh my that epilogue with Van, I can't wait for his story next.

My 4 star review is posted on Goodreads, blog and social media and linked below.

4 stars
Lucas Fournier is Max's little brother and new to the Cold Fury. He's outgoing, fun, and a total player. A wild one night stand with a museum worker, Stephanie, leaves them with a little complication. Luc vows to spend time with Stephy and get to know her more. But that is hard since she is a loner with huge walls up.

Lucas thinks he is averse to relationships, but he has no idea that Stephanie has him beat. While he begins to warm up to a friendship with benefits and even the promise of more, she is guarded and terrified of truly being vulnerable and giving herself to him. She's fun, witty, and bold on the outside, but inside is ruled by fears, insecurities, and feelings of unworthiness. She is stubborn, self limiting, resistant, and prickly. But when they spend time together in their own little bubble of passion, they are able to talk and share. And they have explosive chemistry.

Poor Luc didn't expect to care so much and then seems to have an impossible battle to try to win her heart, even when he thinks he has won her trust and made her feel safe. She opens up some and begins to make progress, but she self sabotages very easily and is an expert at pushing him away. And these two could both be stubborn, hot-headed, and speak without thinking. They are kind of a hot mess. Add in some stress in both of lives and ramp up the drama.

I liked Luc for most of the book. He really wanted to help her and could be caring, patient, and charming, even under stress and with her fighting him. Like his brother Max, he believes in the importance of family and having support. But there was one part during a conflict where he totally made me angry and it took a bit for me to get over it.

Stephy was more frustrating because she was so locked into her negative attitude and fears that she always wanted to believe the worst and not really give him a chance. There were several times I really just wanted to shake sense into her.

I was glad to get more of his loving family with Max, Jules, Simone, and their parents as well as some more of the Cold Fury crew. . We also get to know the other new team mate Van more. He's quite the stoic, grumpy man and I am looking forward to his story next.

The plot wasn't overly complicated, but it was current and believable. The characters had plenty of growth opportunities although some was slow or inconsistent. I enjoyed the dual points of view. It was an angsty, tense, sexy, and sweet story of two people trying to make the best of a situation and realizing that maybe things happen for reason. They just have to get over their issues and be willing to fight for what they want without fear holding them back.

4.5 stars I love the Cold Fury series… I love it so much I have to say it again in shouty caps I LOVE THE COLD FURY SERIES! It feels like each book gets better and better, though Ryker is still my favorite. Yes I know that sentence doesn’t make sense; Ryker the character is my favorite in the series. Ms. Bennett’s storytelling seems to improve with each book maybe that is a better way to say it!

If you haven’t read this series prior and you love books with a pregnancy theme, you must click Lucas. You can do this with no worries of missing anything because Lucas is only seen once in a prior book—Max’s book—as they are brothers. Lucas opens as Lucas is traded to the team and he meets Stephanie at a charity event, so she is also new to the series.

Speaking of Stephanie, she was strong and confident and made Lucas work for it. She was at times frustrating though. Lucas was so supportive… but in the end Stephanie’s backstory—one that was really powerful and it explained a lot about her actions. Hats off to the author for crafting character behavior that fit the character. Yes, it was after this that I liked her character a bit more.

So the oops pregnancy isn’t a spoiler as the blurb hints at it. I loved Lucas! He was witty, and cute and charming and the way he falls for Stephanie touched my heart! Lucas coming to terms with his growing feelings often made me giggle, and the other men seeing Lucas falling was classic.

The Fournier family's solid foundation helps you understand Max and Lucas’ family focus! Mrs. Fournier is such a great character! The way this plays out for Stephanie really lays the groundwork for the forever love you can feel that she and Lucas share!

The addition of Max and Lucas’ sister Simone to the cast is something I hope we see explored in a future book; as in her brothers are NOT happy she finds a teammate of theirs to love 🙂

I am so excited to dive into Van, Lucas’ roommate, as he is the next book in this series! This broody, grumpy man you can feel has a story to tell and a happy to find!

It should be noted that this year, I have struggled to find great books and at times even struggled to open my kindle but when a Cold Fury books hits it, I open it immediately. I think that speaks volumes about my love of this series and the author's writing!

Another great book by Sawyer Bennett.

I can always expect the best. This book is one of my favorites out of the series.

I'm excited for more.

Rating 4.5

Sawyer Bennett does it yet again with Lucas her 8th book in the fantastic Cold Fury series.

Lucas Fournier, the younger brother of Max has just joined the Cold Fury team and hopefully will finally fulfill the dream of winning a Stanley Cup. Stephanie Frazier meets Luc at an event at her museum and has the best 1 night stand in her life. Things take a turn and now Stephanie and Lucas have to work together. Lucas wants her permanently in his life while Stephanie has always been on her own can they make whatever this is work longterm?

I love Ms. Bennett's writing style - the way she can go between Stephanie and Lucas's POVs is top notch as usual. What also amazes me about this series is that each new character introduced in each new book is nothing like the last they definitely don't run together where each new books seems just like the last. We do get to see Jules and Max again which I loved and we get to meet Simone and Van who the next book is based on and boy that epilog certainly sets things up.

If you have not read any of the other books in the Cold Fury series you can definitely start with Lucas - this series are stand-alone books. If you have read the other books in the series then this is a must-read.

Whenever there’s a new Sawyer Bennett release, I jump up and down and make grabby hands until it’s delivered to my Kindle. True story. I don’t read descriptions, I don’t really look at the covers, I don’t check out other reviews. I happily download and have never once regretted it. So, I doubt that you’ll be surprised to find out that I loved her latest release, Lucas.

First of all, let me just say how refreshing it is to read a romance where the man is not a commitment phobe. Sure, he’s a hot, wealthy professional hockey player, so he’s had lots of casual sex in the past, and he didn’t really see any need to settle down.

But never once did he come across as a complete manwhore, and when he found out his one-night stand was pregnant, he stepped right up to the plate, took responsibility, and never once lamented the loss of his carefree bachelor days. Like a breath of fresh air in my reading room, it was.

The only commitment phobe in this story was the heroine, Stephanie. That’s not something you see too much of in romance novels, folks. And that, too, was a refreshing change from the norm.

Now, I’m not going to lie and say that I didn’t want to smack the crap out of Stephanie at about 73% of the story when she let her insecurities get in the way of what could have been a beautiful relationship with a GREAT guy (who just happened to be crazy hot), because I did. But even while my bitch slapping hand was itchy and poised for a smackdown, I wasn’t completely without empathy, given Stephanie’s upbringing and somewhat tragic backstory. So, because Stephanie’s motivations made complete sense to me, I didn’t let my desire to smack her ruin my enjoyment of the story.

If you haven’t read the rest of the series (which if not...seriously, why not??), this one works quite nicely as a standalone. There’s a full cast of awesome secondary characters, but they never overwhelm the story. They won’t make you feel like you’ve missed anything if you haven’t read their stories. (But you’ve TOTALLY missed something if you haven’t read their stories. Really. You should go 1-click. I’ll wait here…)

(Side note: I’ll be 1-clicking the CRAP out of Van)

So, long-story-short, this is a sexy, sweet, funny read about a crazy-hot hockey God who falls hard and fast for a smart-but-emotionally-compromised heroine. You’ll wonder at times how the author is going to pull this off and make these two wise up, but if there’s anything I’ve learned over the years, it’s that Sawyer Bennett is NOT to be doubted.

Full disclosure: We received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Not cold... hot, hot, hot....

This Cold Fury series is full of all the deliciously good things – hockey, hockey players, family and scorching hot love. And Lucas is back! I’ve been waiting for this charmer’s story and it’s not surprise that he gets down and dirty with his leading lady from the very start…. Lucas sizzles as a new member of the Cold Fury family and his focus is completely on his team and the drive for the Cup. When Stephanie crosses his path, it’s insta-lust on both sides, with nothing promised but a very, very good time. Until, plans changed…

Sizzling. Funny. Confused. Is this love, lust or obligation? Oh, the problems start early as I dove into this hotbed of humour, passion and discord. When you’re on the same page, all is good. When you’re not? Well, it’s a ragged mix of lust, tenderness and the furthest thing from harmony you could feel. And feel I did as Stephanie’s pain couldn’t be kept hidden. With Lucas’ charm and humour, and genuine good nature, fighting through it all with her, it’s not hard to see why their journey had my undivided attention…

“I come from a family that’s so fucked up we took the ‘function’ out of ‘dysfunctional’ in all of the psychiatry books.”

Family is the root of both their biggest issues and their greatest strength. Lucas and Stephanie’s chemistry is undeniable though so whether they are in bed or out, fighting or loving, their connection is undeniable. Do they both say, and do, things that make you shake your head? Absolutely. But even that can’t take away from a courtship that had me reading their story in one completely satisfied sitting…

And I was happy. Completely. Until I read the teasing words that is going to be cranky Van’s story. If I was waiting with bated breath for Lucas, Van may take away any oxygen left. Bring on Van!

Yay! A New story set in the world of the Carolina Cold Fury hockey team is here and it’s fantastic! If you loved Max (and how could you not?) then you’re going to love getting to know his younger brother Lucas.

Luc Fournier is even more amazing than his brother! Hard to believe, I know, but I love this character! Being focused, ambitious, and successful are only a few of his admirable qualities. He’s also sexy, sweet, and thoughtful. He's a stand-up guy who's loyal, can make you laugh, and can melt your panties in the span of just a few pages. Is he perfect? No, and that's just the way we like him.

Stephanie is a loner. She's very much content to be on her own and not rely on anyone for anything. It's all she knows. She's fiercely independent and struggles with Luc and his desire to solve her problems. But there's one thing they have in common, and their time spent in the bedroom is nothing short of spectacular.

This book is hot! It definitely does not lack in the heat department, but it'll still give you all the feels. You'll fall in love with this couple and you won't let go. This is a perfect read for any Cold Fury hockey fan.

One night of passion and a broken condom -- it's a perfect setup for an unexpected baby story! Lucas and Stephanie barely know each other and have a terrific night together, but when the test comes back positive, friendships are formed, secrets are shared, and Luc and Stephy face some challenges that have nothing to do with the baby.

I don't want to give anything away, so that's all I'm going to say. This was a sweet, fairly light story of two people thrown together by accident and making the best of it. They have a boatload of chemistry between them and there's plenty of steamy pages. It works very well as a standalone romance.

The secondary characters brought a nice touch to the story and were a good contrast to what Stephanie had gone through in her life. There is a bit of a setup for the next book in the series as well.

Overall, an enjoyable read.

A book hasn't had me feeling so emotional over the female character in SO long! I was an emotional wreck over Sawyer Bennett's heroine in this book. Stephanie is one of those perfectly written characters that just seem to reach inside (at least me) and touch that insecure part of myself and all my OWN fears and I can empathize and understand where she is coming from. And Luc. OMW. If we woman all had a man that was like him we would have permanent smiles, walk bowl legged, and never wonder if we are good enough. He is just a dream man. And he is written in a way that makes him not appear as perfect as I feel he is. He has flaws but it really is hard to see them when he is just a walking billboard for the perfect man.

This book will catch you in the heart and just not let you go. They don't have the normal relationship. They really don't even have the normal non relationship. They did things all kinds of different. The individual growth was pretty big for each of them. The heat level is scorching hot. These two will melt icebergs. We also got peek at the next books characters and I already am drooling for that book. The best thing about this book is it holds its own and doesn't need the other books in the series to help it make sense. I very highly recommend this book to all who love a very passionate and full of feelings kind of romance.

Lucas and Stephanie's relationship is anything but typical, their upbringing was so different (which makes them the person they are today), you would wonder how they would ever work together but I guess the old adage "Opposites Attract" is really true.

Lucas is having the time of his life he's single, a key player on the Cold Fury Hockey Team, and can have any woman he wants in his bed with just a smile, but some of that changes after a one night stand with the beautiful Stephanie.

My heart broke every time Stephanie spoke about her parents and the couple of times she spoke with her mother I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. Neglect is a form of abuse, it may not leave physical scars that you can see but there are mental scars left and those scars will mold you into the person you become as an adult and for Stephanie the scars she has helped create the barrier she needs to keep her heart safe.

Lucas is the 8th book in the Cold Fury Hockey Series and while it can be read as a standalone I would recommend that you read the entire series starting with the first book.

FREAKING FABULOUS!!! I was once asked who my favorite player on the Cold Fury team was, my first thought used to be Ryker, and I can still get away with that now, because he is no longer a player, but in the coaching staff. I know a technicality, but I will still take it. Then there was Max. Now, there is Lucas, Max’s brother, but I think they are tied for first!!! At least now, I am keeping it in the same family.
I LOVE this series. I love the creativity of the stories that Sawyer Bennett has written about the players and their lovely ladies. She makes me think about the lives of our sports heroes and what their lives are like.
Lucas started out as a ‘player’ to some extent in my opinion, and I was not sure if I liked him as a person at first. But then, welllll… Oops, I cannot really say what changed my mind without giving anything a away. Let me just say that my whole opinion of him changed and completely went to the other side and I loved him to death.
Stephanie is well matched with Lucas. She has hang ups of her own. Then, she meets Lucas and, let me just say this, the sparks really fly!!!
I LOVE the Fournier (Lucas and Max’s) family, the way they talk and take care of each other…sigh.
I was gifted with a copy of this spectacular book for my honest opinion. In my opinion… GET THIS BOOK!!! If you like romance, this book definitely has it, HOT, STEAMY romance.
Thank you for reading my review. Now, what are you waiting for, hit that one-click button, and start reading this fabulous book for yourself.
