This book was really awful. I couldn't finish it. The conversations were stilted, the descriptions sounded like a fifth grader wrote them, and the plot was pointless.
this was an odd read for me. I liked that it was well written just odd. I was neutral on Matt and Hope
Hope Piper finds it hard to be back in Spinning Hills, as her memories of the place are not all that good and are the reason why she left town years ago. Still, she would do anything for her sisters, even if it means facing the past and the scene of her young heartbreak. However, her sleepwalking seems to be getting out of control with her rocking up at Matt William's doorstep at various hours of the night. Will Matt be able to help Hope find the peace she needs and overcome her past, or will his own past rear its ugly head and put their chance at happy ever after in jeopardy?
I've never read a book with a character that sleep walks before, so this was actually a very interesting and riveting read, as the heroine's family do their best to try to protect her and the hero does his best to try and help her. Will Matt be able to win Hope's family over, so they can work together? The way this story started had me sympathizing with the heroine, as she's lost a lot in her past and blames herself and her subconscious mind is bringing it all back for her. Will it finally help her move forward and see that none of it was her fault? Will she get the closure she needs to be able to overcome her past demons?
As for the dialogue, it was intense and compelling due to the main characters back stories, as both Hope and Matt have reasons to want to keep their pasts right where they belong -- in the past. However, keeping things hidden could be dangerous for both of them, especially with Hope's sleepwalking and the reason why the hero isn't willing to tell the heroine everything about his past because it's not his story to tell. Will Matt ever be able to confide in Hope? Moreover, the heroine is strong, brave and I liked how determined she was to face the past, so she can finally get the closure she needs to find happiness with Matt. I also liked how she stood up to her family when it came to her feeling like they were treating her like a child instead of the adult she is, which is proven when she discovers the truth about Matt and how he's helped her. Yet, what I liked most of all about the heroine is how successful she is and her determination to try and do what's right by her employees, even if -- in the end -- it might not be possible.
While the hero, he's confident, protective of his family and I liked how he won the heroine's family over, even though the quirky secondary characters do everything they can to discover whether he's trustworthy enough for them to be able to let him into the heroine's life without the risk of her getting hurt by another man. I also liked how far he was willing to go to help the heroine when it came to the situation with her business. Would they find a way to make everything right? Yet, what I liked most of all about the hero was his determination and willingness to help the heroine when it came to her company and her sleepwalking.
Overall, this author has penned a wonderful read in this book where the chemistry between this couple was endearing, heart-warming and had me liking how the hero won the heroine's trust once they got past how the hero knew the heroine before she really knew him. The way this story ended had me hoping that the heroine would get the closure she needs from her past and had me hoping for the best when it came to the hero and what he goes through with his family. Yet, I loved the words the hero and heroine say to each other right at the end because love, family and happiness is the most important thing for anyone's life. I would recommend Haunted Hope by Ines Saint, if you enjoy second chance romances or books by authors Stacy Finz, Leeanna Morgan, Donna Kauffman and Kim Law.
I've read both the Spinning Hills series, and the previous books in this series and the whole thing has just gone downhill for me since the beginning. I'm OCD enough to want to finish a series once I start it, so thus I sat down with the final book in the Piper Sisters series.
I have to admit, Hope was the sister to intrigue me the most. I wanted to find out so much more about her, so having her book was very exciting! However, getting her to open up was like pulling teeth! She was so secretive and mistrustful, it was a wonder she could fall in love with anyone! Matt was her perfect match that way, because he was just as secretive!
We only find out Matt's background at the end of the story, and I wish we had had more time to go into greater detail with it. In fact, the whole story felt very superficial, and there really wasn't much wooing involved in the romance.
All things considered, I doubt I would read another series by this author, as I don't seem to be a good fit for her writing.
Haunted Hope by Inés Saint
The Piper Sisters #3
Hope Piper sleepwalks and has done so most of her life…except when she has lived outside of Spinning Hills. Upon her return the sleepwalking begins again and in her sleep she makes her way to a home she once lived in believing she is back in the past. The new owner of the house is Matt Williams and he is flummoxed by the appearance of distraught Piper but manages to deal with the situation and get contact numbers of persons to call should it happen again. And, it does happen again. And each time it happens Matt gets to know Hope a bit better - at least as she was in the past – and he is intrigued.
When Hope’s business situation and Matt’s job overlap there is a bit of difficulty because Matt has been sworn to secrecy about the sleepwalking and Hope feels she knows Matt but doesn’t know why. Hope eventually finds out what has happened over the past months and is mortified but then accepting and eventually romance is in the air. Both Hope and Matt have secrets from their past that need to be shared before a HEA can be achieved.
This book is about returning home, business, family, love, caring, sharing, trust and a great deal more. In this book the trilogy of the Piper sisters concludes and I wonder what the author will write next because I do like her stories. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington-Shine for the ARC – This is my honest review.

in haunted hope, hope piper has a sleepwalking problem. it doesn't matter the alarms, the locks, the guards she and her sisters try, she finds herself drawn to a rundown house on nome road. matt williams happens to be in the process of restoring the home.
hope has no idea she's met matt in her sleepwalking state. and matt has been sworn to secrecy by her family because the knowledge would destroy hope. who has already suffered enough. unwittingly hope has revealed some pretty intimate things to matt in these nighttime adventures. and this is knowledge that matt doesn't want. not because he doesn't want to know hope. but because he cares for her and wants her to find peace.
when they are forced to work together to find a way to keep hope's business in ohio, he forces her family to come clean. hope is horrified to realize how much matt knows about her. but given the chance to get to know the real hope, matt finds ways to spend time with her. and hope, who was feeling like there would be no healing from her past, suddenly believes that there is a chance that she can overcome the sleepwalking.
matt is such a good guy. he's good and decent and kind and all around wonderful and he's the perfect guy for hope. he's strong and steady in a way he needs. and what he wants out of life, jibes completely with what she wants out of hers. it's such a sweet romance between them.
A very cute story and very enjoyable read. I really liked the sleepwalking twist and the dog Zeus is adorable. The book is very well written and all the characters are strong and likeable. Hope Piper and Matt Williams may be having business issues but the personal chemistry between them is palpable, even though they both try to fight it Sometimes though love is exactly what you need to heal old wounds and start living for the future.
Recommended read.
I had not read the first two books in this series but that didn't make a difference to my enjoyment of this one. Hope's sleepwalking is a definite twist in the usual will they-won't they back and forth of a romance novel. You just know that Matt and Hope will get together in the end but gosh- what an interesting way to get to know one another. I liked that they were both in business and that some of the tension had to do with the topical issue of corporate realignments (although things turn out better here than they often do for the workforce.). Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.
This is the first book by Ms Saint that I have read, and it won’t be the last one. My only regret is that I missed the previous 2 books of this very touching and heartwarming series.
The Piper sisters have returned to their hometown to rebuilt their lives, create new memories and end up finding their soulmates.
Hope Piper and Matt Williams are our main characters in this book. Hope is a successful business woman who is struggling with the possibility of merging her company with a bigger player she is not to happy with, or buying out and keeping it separate. The problem is that she sleepwalks and has very sad and bad memories in the house she sleepwalks to. Matt is fairly new in town, well liked and the new owner of the house that once belonged to Hope. He meets her when she starts sleepwalking to his house in the middle of the night.
These two have secrets, have been hurt but also have big hearts and are very sensitive. They feel the attraction but even though they trust each other, they are holding back some secrets.
You will laugh at times, at others you will want to cry for the characters, at others you’ll want to give them a hug and tell them all will work out. Not only will you fall in love with Matt and Hope , but also with the secondary characters.
I was gifted this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This book was very confusing from the beginning. It really didn't make much sense to me. I tried reading it but the style was not something I could get into. I honestly tried reading it and only got through 23 percent of the book. I hope that this book captures the fans of the author and wish nothing but the best to the author and any more books that is written.
I just love these Piper Sister books by Ines Saint. Finally we get Hope's story about the traumatic events in her life that led her to sleepwalking and an inability to go forward with her life. The blessing is that her sleepwalking leads her to Matt, a man with a haunted past of his own. The unfolding of their love story is sweet and engaging. All the regular cast of surrounding characters from Spinning Hills, Ohio are there which makes for a fun time. I recommend highly 'Haunted Hope', as well as the rest of the series.
