I've only read parts of this series, but I keep saying I'm going to pick up the missing books, because I enjoy it so much and it always makes me want to learn to knit. This book was a great addition, and the killer surprised me, which isn't easy to do.

This is marked as book #1 of a series but it's a continuation of an earlier, very long series. I really hate when publishers do this. It's confusing and makes me feel like I'm never quite getting the whole picture.

I am a huge fan of Sally Goldenbaum & was thrilled to receive a copy of Murder Wears Mittens!

Once again, we are drawn into the world of the Seaside Knitters from page one. Per usual, the murderer is not revealed until the very end, and the reader does not guess who it was until then (or at least, "I" did not know!). I feel that there was less knitting in this story than in previous, but it was fine with me. A surprise happy ending, leading to more stories to come. This book can be a stand alone, but I think I would find it more interesting by reading the series in order.
