I have to admit, I thought this was going to be a typical "careful what you wish for" type of story, but it's far from it.

Veronica goes on a date with Sebastian at a supposedly haunted restaurant. Veronica is fascinated with the paranormal. As they are eating, they share a supernatural experience that changes their lives forever. Veronica and Sebastian are haunted by the ghosts of their own past. It was either fate or magic that brought Veronica and Sebastian together. Either way, they are meant to be together. I will stop there because I don't want to give anything away.

This story goes to show that Theresa Braun can weave a good tale in 38 pages. There is so much happening in this story. The characters are relatable and the story flows well.

The ending is the best part! Overall, the story is really good. I don't read romantic books, but I gave this one a shot. Turns out that I liked it! Thank you, Theresa Braun, for getting me out of my comfort zone!

I recommend this story to fans of horror and romance!
