This is three short stories in one book.
The stories are a mix of Fantasy, Seduction, Science Fiction and for me the mix just does not work in all cases.
The stories are too short to get involved with the characters and felt like everything was thrown at you far too quickly.
Not for me.
A magical combination of the Civil War meets Somewhere In Time with just a dash of RenFest. I absolutely loved the story by Rebecca York. It had a warmth to it that drew you in and wouldn't let you go. As a history fan, I really enjoyed how the story played out and especially how Laura was drawn to Logan in the first place. If you're looking for a little extra summer heat, the love scenes will definitely bring it.
Thank you so much to Rebecca York, ImaJinn Books, Bell Bridge Books for allowing me to read this story and share my opinions with others.
I was trying to read this a while back but realized I wasn't feeling it and probably wasn't going to go back to it.
I liked the variety this short stories offered: fantasy, historical, etc. The second one was oddly fascinating
A big thank you to NetGalley and Bell Bridge Books for the ARC for my honest review. This has 3 short stories in it-all very different. I am not sure what the common theme is actually-unless its just that they are all romance. I liked Sweet Surrender by Brandy Lee-it's a time travel romance and I would definitely recommend reading it. I also enjoyed Dangerous Seduction by Rebecca York-although this one seemed rushed-had an interesting twist and was fun. I would also recommend this one. I was completely confused by the 3rd story Silver Dark Blue Light-there were some flaws in this and I just didn't understand it at all. So this one wasn't for me-but I think overall the book is well worth reading. Let me know if you get the story by Mallory Kane. Enjoy
This was an okay read for me. This is actually 3 reads bundled together. All of the stories are fast paced with lots of suspense and steam. Each of the reads have interesting premises with good characters and entertaining stories. I just wish they would have been a bit longer, they felt a bit rushed and I could have connected with the characters a bit more.
