In this Phoenix agency book 4, the author brings the story of Kat and Mike who come together again after her family and boss are kidnapped. These two must find the culprits and their own second chance.
Ebook from net galley and publishers with thanks . Opinions are entirely my own.

This is the 4th book in this series - readers would benefit from reading the previous books but this could still be enjoyed as a stand alone .#
Katherine “Kat” Culhane is a remote viewer, but her gift is beginning to splinter....... just at a time when she needs it the most . Her sister Mari, along with Mari’s employer and his family, have been kidnapped , she needs her gift to find them but it is erratic .
Mike D’Antoni, a partner in the shadowy Phoenix Agency, is back in her life - she needs his help to find her sister and the other hostages............BUT they have history , a past that left them on bad terms .
Can they put the past behind them as they race to find and rescue the hostages ? will their relationship survive ?........ because the flames are still there !
This book was enjoyable but seemed to be lacking a little something ..... I don't feel that it was quite as good as the others in the series - so only felt able to give it 3 stars .

I'm loving this series , and once again I have to say that as soon as I can I'm going to get book 1 to read , and it's all thinks to NetGalley for introducing me to this series and for giving me the chance to read it .

Kat is a remote viewer. Even the sceptical know of the government's interest in anyone with this special talent. For reasons unclear at the beginning of this exciting book is talent is unreliable and sometimes unavailable. Her sister is kidnapped, she's got a stalker and in rides Mike from the Phoenix Agency. This group of talented ex military men will stop at nothing to keep the women the care for safe. Love getting to reconnect with the other couples I have met in this wonderful series.

I really enjoyed this series which has paired the men from the Phoenix Agency with the unique gifted woman they are fated to be with. I especially enjoyed the element of suspense and how each woman's unique gifts come into play to drive the story to a satisfactory conclusion.
Kat is a remote viewer. She can with time and focus view events with extreme clarity and even share information and messages. Her sister's kidnapping brings playboy Mike, a partner in the Phoenix Agency back into her life. Will she get a chance to save her sister as well as a second chance at love with Mike?
The story plays out at a fast pace pooling the talent of the wives of the Phoenix Agency with Kat's skills to foil a dastardly kidnapping. Another winner from author Desiree Holt.

Action packed, intriguing mystery, heart pounding danger and emotionally thrilling second chance romantic journey. Gripping read that I just could not put down.
Mike D’Antoni is smart, strong alpha male and the only thing he ran from was commitment two years ago and has regretted it ever since. Katherine “Kat” Culhane is sweet, sexy, sassy and a highly sought after remote viewer. She is having trouble with her gift after escaping a bad relationship she fell into to try and forget the one man she ever loved. Fate brings them back together for a second shot, loved every twist and turn of this awesome adventure.

DNF @ 11%
Heavy-handed exposition, copy-paste and bland characters...not enough to capture and keep my attention.

I think I just nearly broke the screen of my e-reader, while reading Freeze Frame... The suspense was almost too much! Desiree could already consider me as a fan of the Phoenix series, but this part (number four) is my all time favourite for now. (I've just started on number five, so maybe it will be topped).
Kat is a remote viewer, which means she can see things happening at a distant location, based on maps or pictures of that location. And although I'm not sure I believe in this kind of paranormal stuff in real life, I really, really wanted her gift to work to find her sister Mari. She was kidnapped along with her employer and held hostage for some time.
When Kat bumps into Mike D'Antoni, after two years where they had been former lovers, she realizes he is probably the only one able to help her rescue her sister. Mike is part of the Phoenix foundation, which consists of all kind of ex-Navy SEALS and black ops hot stuff. (If you want to know more about the other yummie partners, read my reviews of Extrasensory or Scent of Danger).
Mike realizes what a fool he has been in letting Kat walk away those years ago. And since the chemistry is still of the charts, he is determined not to let her get away this time. So when Kat turns to him and the agency for help, he does his very best to help find her sister Mari. But will they be in time? And who was behind the kidnapping in the first place?
They will have to race against time to figure out who will gain from the ransom that is requested and where the hostages are kept. Thrilling, scary and wonderfully written! Five out of five stars from me. With a special thank you to Netgalley and Kindle Press for providing the arc.

2nd time around for Mike and Kate, here's hoping he doesn't blow it this time!
Kat has used her remote viewing skills to great effect but lately her connection has been shaky at best. More than likely due to her tumultuous relationship with Brent. He is claustrophobic in his attentions and just doesn't seem to get the hint that things are over.
When her sister has to go away with her boss and his family, Kat jumps at the chance to spend time away from Brent. But when she is waving Mari off, she bumps into Mike and sparks fly.
Mike can't believe he let Kat get away but he just couldn't settle into the idea of monogamy and splits when he had the choice. Now older and wiser, and seeing the great examples of relationships around him, he is determined to not let her go again.
But when Mari and her boss get kidnapped, it's up to Kat and the boys from Phoenix to get the job done. Can Kat get past Mike's shoddy treatment of her in the past and give them another chance?
Strong story and great characters. I loved the connecting stories of Kat's stalker and the kidnapping and the subtle clues and red herrings as to the mastermind behind the kidnapping. Brilliant stuff.

The first of the Phoenix Agency books I've read, it certainly won't be the last. The action was intense. The characters had amazing chemistry with one another. The concept was intriguing. Best of all, the suspense was well maintained. This book was reviewed on Goodreads and Amazon with links shared on my Facebook and Twitter pages.

From the beginning this book went into action. The story brings Kat and Mike together again on a chance coincidence. On the night that they meet up on a date, Kat realized that there is something wrong. She does not hear back from her sister Mari who left on a trip with her boss and his family. It will be up to the both of them to find out what happened to Mari.
I really liked the chemistry between the Mike and Kat. Their story kept me entertained from the beginning till the end. It ended too early for me and had me wonder what else was going on with them both. I can't wait till the next book comes out.

I enjoy these books so much. This book is the story of Mike and Kat.
Reconnecting two years after their breakup by accident at the airport Kat's sister and her employer and his family are kidnapped. Just like the other spouses of Phoenix operatives Kat has a psi ability, hers being remote viewing.
She has a secret though that she is keeping from Mike and while the stress of it has messed with her ability he notices and won't let her by without telling him.
When her secret finds her she has no choice but to do it now before they get her sister back.
As always Faith and the Phoenix guys are there to help. But the question remains will they catch who did this? Will the hostages be returned alive? And will she and Mike find their way back to one another again after this is all over?

Kat's gift may be failing her but Mike is back in her life and he won't. Enjoyable read with plenty of heat

All I can say is FANTASTIC!! If I could give this book more than a five star rating I would. The chemistry between the two main characters was off the charts hot. I enjoyed reading this book because the author took me through their journey. The idea of remote viewing was such an interesting twist on this genre and one that I enjoyed experiencing. This book has made me an even bigger fan.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
Kat is know for being a "remote viewer."
Lately something is start to interfere w/ her abilities.
Her sister Mari + her employer were supposed to be on vacation in Hawaii.
They never arrived in Hawaii. They were kidnapped in route.
Kat + Mike just reacquainted themselves right on time to help Kat find her sister.
There are too many players in this kidnapping, and not all of them are telling the true.
Can Mike + Kat find the hostages on time?
The clock is ticking, and Kat + Mike hope to rescue them before they run out of time.
The suspense was supper high.
The cartel had eyes + ears everywhere.
On one of the rescue, the Phoenix Agency arrived too late.
The hostage have been moved.
Someone tipped them off.
Once you start reading the book, you don't want to put it down.
I had to finish the book.
I can't wait for Troy's book.

Loved this! Holt redeemed herself from the last book - hooray! As hard a time as I had getting into and following book 3, book 4 blew it out of the water! So for future reference...books 2 and 4 are fabulous! Books 1 and 3 aren't bad, but they aren't as good as the other two.
Kat is a remote viewer. Mike is a former boyfriend who bailed because of obvious reasons. Second chances are hard, trust has to be built, but the chemistry is strong. This is a wonderful novel - enjoy!

Love this series. Mike and Kat crashed and burned two years ago when Mike left for an assignment and failed to call Kat when he returned but showed up at her apartment later like nothing had happened. Now they have bumped into her unexpectedly and Mike wants to make things right.
Just as Kat is trying to decide whether she should trust Mike and give him another chance, Kat's sister and her sister's employer and family go missing. Mike and Kat, along with Mike's partners set out to find them and bring them home. Will this help or hurt Mike and Kat's relationship?

Great story in the continuing saga of that Phoenix agency. Loved Mike & Kat together and the story line was well written. Can't wait to see what's in store for Troy!

Freeze Frame is a very well written suspense/romance. I loved the plot that immediately pulled me in and kept me captive. I enjoyed the author's writing and will be reading more of their books.

As with every other book in The Phoenix Agency series that I've read, I really enjoyed this book.
It's a good 2nd chance paranormal romance book with the perfect blend of mystery, action, romance and paranormal abilities.
Although it's not as dark and angsty as Maya Banks Slow Burn series or Kay Hooper's Bishop/Special Crimes Unit books I think that fans of both series may enjoy reading this series.
An arc of this book was generously provided to me by Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review
