Fun light and a good paranormal romance series. It has just the right amount of weirdness.

I have really enjoyed the series. The characters are diverse & dynamic and the plot keeps the reader engaged and wanting more.

Second chances aren’t always welcome or easy to navigate; but when Kat and Mike are thrown together after two years apart, the sparks of their previous passion are once again ignited and the sex is nothing short of combustible!

This Phoenix Agency story was not as explosive as I expected like 2 and 3, don’t get me wrong the characters are good and the storyline is great, it’s just the psychic performance to me was a bust. As the heroine, Katherine was a bit of a letdown, and the other psychics were a bit disappointing to me also, the time they should have acted like a super psychic wheel they fell short. The star for me was Andy now that’s a psychic tech wizard if there ever was one, he came through all the times in all the books, he saves the day and the books, for me it’s not just the romance but the abilities of the characters and how strong they are. So although I'm impressed with the story, I’m not sold on the Katherine character, but it was still an interesting, intriguing and nice book.

This is Book 4 in the Phoenix Agency series. What a great series. I love each book in it. This is filled with a lot of high-speed action from the very first page. We have Kat who has an extra ability. She is able to do remote viewing as a physic ability. Mike is an ex-boyfriend who (just like a man) left her because he was scared it was going to get serious between them and he couldn’t handle it. Can he step up and help her now? Bad things are happening and they are running out of time. They have to solve this mystery before it’s too late. The story line is very well written and I couldn’t quite figure out the villain. Loved this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from the Netgalley.

Since reading Scent of Danger, I have had to read all the books in the Phoenix series, as I love how these tough dangerous men meet equally tough women who change their lives. The books are filled with romance, danger, intrigue, and lots of action! I won't give away the "bad guy" in the story as you will have to read it through to see if you can figure it out - I didn't!!

Kat uses her ability so "see" to help people, when you start reading, she has just helped find a missing person and she is hiding out from an ex who is stalking her. Good thing for Kat that she dated someone from Phoenix as she is going to need the help when her sister gets kidnapped. Kat dated Mike until he left her and didn't look back. My only complaint is that I wish Kat had made him work a little harder to win her back!

Kat and Mike work to figure out who has kidnapped her sister & employer, who is helping the kidnappers, and where they are holding them. It was great to see the other partners of Phoenix rally along with Mike and Kat to try and save the hostages before things could go really badly.

Each book adds to the "cast" and so it was great to see Mark & Faith, Mia & Dan, and Rick and Kelly (and Xena) included in the conclusion. It is fun to see how the new woman fits in with the others and how she is included in the business aspect as well.

Really looking forward to seeing when Troy falls!!

I've liked all the books in this series. this was one I had not read before. I liked, fast paced good read.

Can two people with a past find a way to have a future. When Mike walks back into Kat’s life old sparks are rekindled but before long Kat’s world will be turned upside down. When her sister is kidnapped she will need to put her faith in Mike and his team to help bring her home safe before it is too late. I am really enjoying this series and look forward to reading more of Ms Holt’s books

If you've read the other books in this series, you'll definitely enjoy this book. More danger than ever! I loved the build-up throughout the book - I think it was very effective.

I have enjoyed all of the books in the Phoenix Agency series. Freeze Frame is another great PSI book.
I would think that one of the hardest things for Kat would be, how long it takes to get enough of the pictures to put everything together. And for Mike it would probably be that there isn't much he can do to help Kat.
I have a suggestion for another book in this series. How about one for Andy the Dragon Slayer. That would be awesome.

Good story, just got a little confusing at times with all the bouncing around between characters but overall an enjoyable read.
