This is one of those stories that you fall in to, you smile the whole way through, you cannot put down and why would you want to?! And one of those stories that you just love. Super cute, aww all over, Running Into Love is. Just. Adorable. It is classic, feel good romance. It is a relationship driven story so there is not a whole lotta plot to it but it is so damn cute, you don’t care.
I love this kind of a book. The kind where you can just sit back, read characters that you really love. And you look like an idiot because you’re smiling the whole damn time. It has that voyeuristic feel - and not in a kinky way, so get your mind out of the gutter! But yea, you just watch them, or read them…and you can’t help but fall in love with Levi and Fawn as they are falling in love with each other. Levi is a detective with the NYPD and Fawn is a 5th grade teacher. He is hot and she is a Harry Potter geek. She is clueless. He is alpha. I’m telling you, so adorable. Even their families are a joy to read and sparks are flying all over the place for future books. I smell a single dad romance coming from this series. I’m calling it now and I really love how ARR writes her dads. ARR has earned her place as one of my stop, drop and read authors.
Kristen Ashley fans take note! As always, Aurora Rose Reynolds books read like Kristen Ashley books, vintage Kristen Ashley books at that! If you’re not reading ARR, you need to fix that mistake pronto. And for the record, she has quite the back catalog that you won’t regret reading either. I want to just rave about this book and tell you all of the reasons you should read it but at the same time, I want to put my computer away and just go read it again. So yea…that’s all I have. Read the book, you won’t regret it.
I'm truly, madly and deeply in love with this fantastic rom/com. I've devoured it in just a few hours and enjoyed every single minute of it. It's the first book in the Fluke My Life series by Aurora Rose Reynolds which tells the stories of three close but different sisters (Fawn, Mackenzie and Libby) unexpectedly finding love under unforeseeable circumstances. This read was full of laugh out loud moments with its many comical and awkward situations but also romantic and swoony ones that made my heart beat faster. I can say with absolute certainty that Running into Love is my new favorite by this talented author.
Fawn is a fifth-grade teacher, single and living with her cute and stubborn dog Muffin. She is fed up by the dating scene and has long ago given up hope to find her prince charming - until she one day literally runs with her eyes closed into a beautiful stranger who later turns out to be her new neighbour. Levi is a gorgeous, homicide detective new to New York city. His love life is non-existent since finding a woman who understands his job and the responsibility and sacrifices that come with it is nearly impossible - until Levi moves next door to sweet, nerdy Fawn. It's going to take a lot of convincing to make Fawn realise that Levi is interested in more than just friendship. They may just find out that despite their differences they are actually perfect for each other ...
I absolutely adored Fawn and Levi. They are hands down one of my most favorite couples ever written. I loved it that he found her quirks endearing and that he was able to erase her insecurities. Fawn's selfless, non-judgmental and caring personality was like a breath of fresh air to Levi who was only used to women who didn't have more to offer than just a pretty face. He was persistent, understanding and the calm to Fawn's chaos. She was supportive of his job and made him laugh and forget the cruelties he saw every day. They truly complemented each other.
Fawn and Levi have both huge and crazy families who you will grow slowly but surely fond of. They will crack you up with their comments and actions and make you sometimes shake your head in pure disbelief. What I however admired about these families was the indisputable love and solidarity between the members that was palpable on every single page.
Aurora did a terrific job by writing a funny and entertaining book with charming and lovable characters that will help you to escape reality for a few hours and leave you with a big, happy smile on your face. This series is absolutely addictive and I can't wait to read Mac and Libby's stories. I'm sure that the author is going to deliver. I recommend Running into Love from the bottom of my heart to all rom/rom lovers like myself and every ARR fan. And if this author is new to you than it's a great opportunity to get yourself acquinted with her writing. I promise you won't regret it! 5+ stars
I LOVED this book. Beyond loved. Its a very fun, sweet and romantic story that is pure romance. Its just about two people who fall and start sharing their life and I ate it up. Its one of those feel good kind of books and I even shed some tears at the ending.
One morning Fawn is running and she crashes into this guy. They then separate and thats when she finds out he is her new neighbor and thats when the fun starts. Fawn has given up on dating. She thinks its way too complicated. Until her sisters drag her out to a bar for pimps and ho's night and they end up getting arrested. Her whole family is wonderful. They provide a lot of fun moments in the story. The first 50% off the story is all Fawn and she carries the book wonderfully.
Levi, a police detective and he knows Fawn is special but she is hard to get to know. Until he kisses her and thats when he starts chasing her hard. He has a large and crazy family too and I loved them just as much as I did Fawns.
Family is very important in this story and I loved that about it. I also liked that we got to really get to know both Levi and Fawn and I liked watching them mess their two lives together and make it work. There is some drama, but I loved that no matter what Levi and Fawn stay together, there is no breakup in this story.
This book was one I will re-read again it was just so romantic. And I cannot wait for more stories about Fawn's sisters. While the first 50% i ll Fawn, and the last half is mixed. It really worked well with how the story is told.
4 1/2 stars,
I had a great time reading this book, it's exactly what you think of when you think of a Aurora Rose Reynolds book. The hero is crazy possessive and knows he wants the heroine form the start and he also doesn't mess around. The heroine is sweet and kind and not full of herself and the perfect match for our hero. This was an easy fun read, I flew through it and just really enjoyed reading this book from being to end. I was never board and I didn't want to skim or skip around and though I have a book by a favorite author waiting to be read I didn't want to just get this one read so I could move on(which can happen if a book don't hold my attention).
Running in the park one day Levi and Fawn run into each other, literally. Both are attracted to the other but Levi also rubs Fawn the wrong way, and Fawn is careless in Levi's opinion. Going home from her disastrous run Fawn can't believe that the apartment next door to her is now being renting by none other than Levi, the man she ran into and worse her dog, the trader who hates men can't get enough of Levi.
Levi can't get Fawn out of his mind and is ok doing what he needs to to get her. Though Fawn can't deny the attraction she has to Levi and also admits that he isn't the jerk she first though he was far from it in fact Fawn just doesn't get why he wants to spend time with her and be friends. But Levi has no desire to be Fawns friend and is willing to do whatever it takes to get and keep her. As their relationship grows into something they have both always dreamed of Levi's and Fawns job collide putting their happy ending at risk of never happening.
This was a great book to what I think will be an amazing series. Not only did I love Levi and Fawn but we are also introduced to a whole set of characters who add more to this book, and some who will get their own books in the future. As you read this book it's pretty obvious(unless I am crazy) who the main characters will be in two more books. And I very happy with that. If I had to make one observation/complaint it would be ****small spoiler**** when Levi and Fawn meet Fawn is running in the park when they run into each other. The reason they actually run into each other is because Fawn is running with her eyes closed. I Have to admit I don't get why Fawn is running in a busy New York park with her huge dog with her eyes closed. This seems unsafe and not smart to me, so I really wish it was explained more so we/me can understand why she did that. ****end spoiler**** Like I said not a big thing but it made go mmmm, why I don't get it. All in all I really, really liked this one and highly recommend it.

Running Into Love by Aurora Rose Reynolds follows the relationship of Fawn and her new next door neighbor, homicide detective Levi. Fawn has sworn off dating in this age of dating apps until she literally runs into Levi. There's an instant chemistry between the two, but Fawn isn't sure how Levi could possibly be interested in her with her crazy family and accident prone tendencies. Levi is smitten with Fawn from the beginning. She's a breath a fresh air in a city filled with fake women. Who cares if her family is crazy? He wants her. Follow Fawn and Levi on this sweet insta-love story.
I really enjoyed this book. I haven't read much by Aurora Rose Reynolds, but I have to say she does a fantastic job with coming up with fantastic sweet alpha characters. Levi knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to go after it. Fawn wasn't my favorite female character, but I did enjoy the relationship between her and Levi. I loved the inclusion of Fawn and Levi's families and they were both hilarious. This is definitely an insta-love story so I know some people wont like it for that reason, but this book kept my attention from beginning to end. Overall, a well written romantic comedy with a bit of seriousness thrown in there towards the end.
This is truly a captivating story with likeable characters. This new-to-me author has a real talent for character development. Levi and Fawn are written so realistically, as are their family members, who play a large part in the book and hopefully will be getting stories of their own! After a stream of books that I found myself skimming out of boredom, I was so pleased to come across this one. I devoured every single word. I laughed, I swooned, I cringed, and I stomped up a down a few times. In other words, I really connected with the story and the characters. I wanted to whack Fawn across the back of the head a couple of times for her cluelessness, but I get it. That self-doubt and insecurity was realistic. I definitely recommend this engaging book. I'm so glad I found a new author to love!
I love this author. Slightly different from the Until Series and the Underground series which is nice when an author can transition to a different type of novel and still keep the same high quality story and flow of characters. This book was hilariously funny. At points you don't know if you want to be the heroine, another character in the story for a front row seat or just an observer to how life unfolds. Think of the first embarrassing thing you did in front of a potential new partner, add them all together, then imagine all those things happening in one new relationship within a short period of time and then add both families into the mix. Fawn is trying to get her feelings together and doesn't have a moments peace with all the events going on and you don't know if you want to feel sorry for her, be her, or just laugh at her tribulations. Levi is just trying to get her to see right in front of her. And Muffin, the dog, definitely goes by her own beat of the drum.
The descriptions of the feelings come through the pages and the hilarity of all the events definitely has you wanting to turn the page to see what happens next. You want to find out more of what happens with the other sisters and get a slight insight without it taking away from the story of Levi and Fawn. Can't wait for the next one. Definitely one I will read over and over again.
This book had some parts that were so laugh out loud funny that I wanted to read them again and other parts were sad and serious. I thought that the relationship between Levi and Fawn was worth fighting for, and definitely made me cheer for them. The chemistry that the author was able to show with just words was awesome, fun, and sexy; One of my favorite parts of this book was at the beginning when Levi and Fawn first meet, that made me laugh. I cannot wait for more books from this author.
Thank you NetGalley and Aurora Rose Reynolds for allowing me to read this book and write and honest review.
Super fun ARR story! You were really rooting for the characters and loving them both. If you're an instalove fan, you'll love this romcom and of course if you're already an Aurora fan, pick this one up!
I really enjoyed this book. The dialogue between Fawn and Levi was cute and I always enjoy dual-viewpoint books. This is an auspicious start to a new series and I look forward to reading about Fawn’s sisters.
My one slight criticism is that Levi is a bit too alpha in the way he pursues Fawn and is constantly touching her after she’s expressed her dislike of being with him. It’s all fine and good to have a guy like that in a romance novel where you know they’ll end up together in a HEA, but I kept thinking that, in real life, it would be a bit creepy. And Fawn is a bit too klutzy and insecure for me even though we’re told that she’s gorgeous and she’s also a successful teacher. But go with it because they make a cute couple.
Another brief complaint is that she’s keeping this huge dog in a tiny New York apartment. That just doesn’t seem fair, but I guess the excuse would be that he’s a rescue dog and she saved him and gave him love. But no wonder that he acts crazy sometimes when she takes him out.
I was given a free ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This book will definitely make you go "awww". It's light hearted, full of quirky characters, packed with some hot sexy times, and just plain old sweet. I loved the slow'sh development of Levi and Fawn's relationship, it was instaattraction and instaannoyance that we get to watch become more. I loved both main characters families and I cannot wait to watch and see what happens for Mac, Libby and Lukas. If you are looking for an angst filled read this isn't for you but I quite enjoyed the charming story of the cop and the teacher who ran into his heart!
This was a complimentary advanced reader copy from the author/publisher in exchange for a honest review via Netgalley.
The writing style was not for me along with the insta-love and alpa-hole hero.
4.5 stars
This was a great read with a lot of laughs and tons of chemistry.
Fawn and Levi can't seem to stop running into each other, literally. The gorgeous man from the park keeps popping up everywhere. When he firmly plants himself in her life, she may have a hard time resisting the sexy detective.
Fawn drove me crazy a few times. Her insecurities took some getting used to. But, the way that Levi was willing to fight to make her see what he saw was definite swooning material. The crazy families that came along with these two made for a ton of laughs and definitely added a lot to the story.
I'm looking forward to the next book in this new series. ARR has me hooked for sure on the quirky gang. She wrote a sexy, funny, swoon worthy romance that I couldn't get enough of.
This was such a fun book to read, I felt like I was smiling the whole time I read it. It started out at the unusual meeting that Fawn and Levi had. I sort of worried that Levi would turn out to be an ass, so didn't happen. Instead he seemed to be instantly smitten with Fawn and bid his time, slowly working under Fawn's walls. I loved that Levi embraced Fawn's brand of crazy, that he called her on it, but it was in an endearing way. Funny how Fawn didn't think she was crazy, yet any time her family was brought up she apologized for them being crazy.
I loved Fawn's family, they were a bit crazy. From her sisters who she both loved and hated, their night out at Halloween being a great example. Fawn's parents were much the same. I loved how both of them acted once they were aware that Fawn was seeing Levi. Fawn's family and their crazy ways could only be topped by Levi's family, probably why he just rolled with Fawn's family and their antics. Thanksgiving ended up being fun to watch, so much crazy stuff going on.
I loved how Fawn was with her students, but hated how one student in particular was in need of Levi's services. It was nice to see the child be taken care of, but hated the reason why.
I loved how this one ended, loved the Christmas present Levi had for Fawn, loved the extra long epilogue, loved to see how Levi and Fawn were in the future and to see Fawn's close relationship with her former student.
I look forward to reading more in this series, really am hoping for a Libby and Lucas pairing, more family craziness.
Fawn Reed has decided she is giving up on the dating game, there are too many rules to follow and it always leaves her feeling like love is just not possible. Fawn inadvertently runs into a man while jogging, he is stunningly gorgeous but getting flustered she storms off. Never in her wildest dreams did she think he would be moving in to he apartment across her hall.
Levi Fremont has moved with his new job as homicide detective in NYC. Meeting Fawn certainly left an impression but he can't tell if she is interested in him or not. Levi certainly is interested in her and when he realizes that Fawn is skittish about him, he acts on it. Can Fawn realize what is in front of her before it is too late?
5 million stars for this one. Instant favorite, this was so entertaining I was ready to read it again 24 hours later. The first time Fawn and Levi meet is hilarious, she is quirky and her family is a hoot. I want more of this series and hope they are in the works soon. Levi, if you like alpha male characters who exude yumminess, this is a book for you. One of the best this talented author has written.
Actual Rating is 4.5 Stars!
"I don't want to let you go." he says, and I know in that moment I could get lost in him.
"No one has ever kissed me the way he does. No one has ever made me feel the way he does--like he's marking me, claiming me as his."
"I've never felt the need to possess someone the way I feel the need to own you."
"Love is just a word unless there is action behind it."
Aurora Rose Reynolds is my go-to when it comes to insta-love and hotter than hot alpha males. Her stories are full of heart. They keep me on my toes with a dash of suspense. And the romances are totally unforgettable....
Running Into Love follows the story of Levi and Fawn. These two had me hooked from page one. I knew from their very first encounter that their story was going to be incredible. Fawn is smart, free spirited, clumsy, and has no clue how beautiful she is. She's amazing, but has met one too many frogs that have her wanting to give up on love. However, a chance encounter with Levi will have her second guessing everything...Levi is the hot detective who just moved in next door. Let me tell you, Levi is a man that knows exactly what he wants. He plays the game and isn't afraid of chasing the clueless girl. Levi is everything you could want in an alpha; sexy, smart, determined. He even has a swoon worthy sweet side. He is the absolute perfect match for a girl like Fawn...Fawn may have been in over head with Levi, but I gotta tell you, I just couldn't get enough of these two. The chemistry between Fawn and Levi was off the charts, their banter was entertaining as hell and I just couldn't wait to see what would happen next between the two of them.
Running Into Love is the perfect insta-love romance. The story-line and characters are so much fun. Fawn and Levi's story is filled with so much heart and is really well written. This book made me laugh, smirk, and shake my head. It made me swoon, and fall in love. The dash of suspense and mystery kept me on my toes and kept me coming back for more. I enjoyed every moment of this story and can not wait to see who this author has me falling in love with next.
Fawn and Levi, an accidental start, new neighbours, a troublesome puppy and another hilarious incident seals the deal.
A beautiful, heartwarming story about finding love when you are not looking for it.
Welcome to the newest series by Aurora Rose Reynolds, and let me say she hit it out of the park with this first book! This book that all the best things of an ARR book but is more on the comedic side. There are still moments of suspense but overall is more of a lighter read. This book from the moment I picked it up at 10 pm til the moment i ended at 2 am (the only reason it too "2" days lol) had me laughing and rooting for Fawn and Levi.
ARR dominates my top 10 book boyfriend's and let me say that Levi is now there as well. He makes me want him in my life. If i could find a man that did half the things that Levi would do for Fawn i would be one extremely happy woman.
I loved Fawn, she is someone that i can relate to, she is down to earth, quirky and doesn't have to be a supermodel, but in Levi's eyes she is the most beautiful woman in the world.
There familys had me cracking up as well and i cannot wait to see what ARR has in store for Libby and Mac. So here is 5 AMAZING STARS for an amazing new series!!
Stunning, beautiful, quirky, funny, heartbreaking, passionate, and nothing short of amazing! These are the words I would use to describe this book by Aurora Rose Reynolds.
Fawn is quirky, nerdy and beautiful. Levi is sexy, bossy, and determined. What happens when a quirky, awkward girl runs right into a hot sexy cop? Magic!
Between Fawn's accident prone ways and their crazy families, I was laughing so hard that I had tears in my eyes. My heart melted at Levi's sweetness. My heart when it needed to break. I loved every single beautiful word! This story will captivate you and leave you hanging on every word. Absolutely stunning! 6 stars!!! A MUST READ!
