Fawn Reed is a beautiful, single 27 yr. old woman living in New York. She's a fifth grade teacher & an animal lover who adores her dog. She's currently given up on men since she's never lucky in love.
Levi Fremont is a gorgeous 30 yr. old guy who recently moved to New York. He's a homicide detective for the NYPD, & is extremely dedicated to his job. He eats & sleeps work until one day he has a run in with a stunning blonde. She literally runs into him, & words are exchanged. Then they realize they are neighbors & things get more complicated. They continue to see each other & start spending time together. They really enjoy each other's company & share an intense attraction neither can deny. Sparks fly, & soon they both want to see where things go. Feelings quickly develop, & soon they are both crazy about each other & mean everything to one another.
This is my new favorite book by Aurora Rose Reynolds. It was full of humor, love, & sexy as hell! I really enjoyed it start to finish & adored Levi. I was laughing & swooning throughout. This book was fabulous! Highly recommend this one.
Running Into Love is the first book in Aurora Rose Reynolds' new Fluke My Life series and it was a really good start to a series I have a feeling that I am going to love. It was funny, it was sweet, it was hot and it an enjoyable fast paced read.
Fawn is a bit of a klutz at times but honestly I loved that about her. She is funny, she is sassy and she gets into some of the most hilarious situations and of course her extremely sexy new neighbor is usually there to witness the aftermath. Levi is a NYPD Detective and the second this crazy, yet wacky, and beautiful woman crashes into him he wants her. That fact that she lives right across the hall? Well that makes it so much easier. The chemistry between these two is intense; add in the banter, the little bickering and I loved these two together. I do wish some certain instances had been not swept under the rug but I think they may be handled in future books.
I am really excited for this new series from Aurora Rose Reynolds, I think it will be one that I and other will really enjoy. Go grab this one today!
I admit it – I’m a huge Aurora Rose Reynolds fan. When I saw her upcoming novel, Running Into Love, on NetGalley, I immediately begged the publisher for a copy. Running Into Love is a typical Reynolds novel. There is (nearly) instant love, an alpha male, and a bit of a clueless female. It was also humorous. I enjoyed the run-ins between the characters.
Because Running Into Love is the first novel of a new series, there were tons of characters to introduce. It got a bit confusing for me. I couldn’t keep Fawn’s or Levi’s family apart at some point!
This was a straight up romance without the suspense that I’m used to from Reynolds. Because of that, it was a little light and somewhat overly sweet. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon read. I eagerly await the next novel in this series.
Absolutely loved this book...I found myself binge reading, any chance I had. Funny, romantic, sexy. I loved the sexual tension, the caring and emotion was wonderful.
I'm crying. Legit. Tears are streaming down my face as I'm sitting here thinking about Levi and Fawn's story. The moments that really melted my heart into goo, was with the family. No matter the story, Aurora Rose Reynolds shows you that family means EVERYTHING!
These alpha male hero's and their heroines will be the DEATH of me. .
Running Into Love is such a heartwarming love story, full of sweets, and a pinch of angst. A perfect combination.
I have read a few books from this author so I knew what to expect. Overall I could say that I liked this story enough. I enjoyed how Levi and Fawn first met. It was quite amusing and I was interested to see how things would progress from there. There was a little push and pull between the two in the beginning. Levi wanted to explore more while Fawn did her best to deny the attraction. It was fun reading this little battle and what would happen next. I liked how the relationship advanced as the story went on and seeing how these two would come together. I also enjoyed both Fawn’s and Levi’s families. They brought a lot of entertainment to the book and I had some laughs. I liked the flow of the story and it was mostly alright for me. I am intrigued about this brood so hopefully there is more to come. Overall, this was a pleasant cute read.
Fawn has decided to stay single now however when she literally crashes into a hot body. She blames her dog of course. The dog that weighs almost as much as her and is misbehaved.
Levi just moved to the city and having a hot women crash into him makes his life a little more interesting. Not only that but he realizes very quickly that she is his neighbor.
Life in NY becomes more interesting by the minute. Add in two crazy families, an investigation, and some tension and you get a great story.
** I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**
I loved this book. I didn't like Fawns name but oh well. She was very quirky and clumsy. She was very innocent and naive.
Loved Levi. He wasn't as alpha as her other characters but I still liked him. He was as possessive as I'd like but I loved how he treated Fawn.
Overall, another great read from ARR. I've loved all of her books. They are always a hit for me.
Awesome characters, great plot, and and a fantastic romance.
5 RIP-ROARING STARS!!!!!I
I freaking loved this book to pieces...
There are some books that, have that, so good you read that book feeling after you have read it and this was one of those books. This was a beautiful story. I must admit I have been in a reading slump lately and this book was the cure-all. I am glad that there was no OW drama, so glad that the love was genuine and true, so glad that I felt all the love between Fawn and Levi (great names by the way). It was just a story that left me feeling good all over and I sooooo missed that lately. Fawn literally runs into Levi, while jogging with her eyes closed. Turns out that he is her new neighbor. There is a slow buildup to their relationship. It is filled with all the insecurities that you feel when you like someone but don't know if they like you back. I loved that Levi was willing to wait until Fawn understood that once they made love she would be his. It was filled with a lot of make out sessions, her family and his family, and laugh out loud moments between them. I loved the relationship that Fawn had with her sisters, Mackenzie and Libby. I hope they get a book too! And best of all Muffin, Lol. Gotta love that dog. This was not my first read by Ms. Reynolds and it definitely will not be my last. Bravo on another job well done. Bravo!!!!
Who doesn't love an Aurora alpha. I know I do. This was a nice change of pace, instead of being a small town romance, Running Into Love, takes place in NYC.
Running Into Love is a sweet and fun easy read. This would be perfect for reading on the beach or curling up in a chair on a rainy day. Low on angst but full of the Aurora alpha-ness we have all grown to love along with her unique since of humor. I personally love the way Aurora weaves her wit into her stories. I enjoy each one immensely and this was no different.
Running Into Love was probably one of Aurora's best written/edited books but I would have loved for the drama in the story to be just a bit more. Still I read it straight through in a day and had a smile on my face the whole time.
There some stories that leave a lasting impression for one reason or another, this one was such a story for me...yes the writing was superb, the characters whacky and charming...what hit the perfect tone for me though is that it made me smile. Levi and Fawn were endearing...there could not have been a more perfect couple created who could have left this type of lingering effect.
Fawn was absolutely the most charming of characters...her genuineness was refreshing...her love for life contagious. Levi was her perfect balance...it's no wonder he fell for her so quickly... and especially since their first meeting was of her running (literally) into him while she was running with her eyes closed. Who does something like that? Fawn does because she's enjoying life and living it to its fullest.
I'm looking forward to reading more by this author...I truly enjoyed that her story had a subtle message and her characters are unique.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
4.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+
Great fast-paced story! Wonderful main characters, good supporting characters, right amount of sexy times and level of drama....the only reason I took 1/2 star off was the stretch of imagination it takes to believe a public school teacher in New York City can afford the beautiful apartment that Fawn has...but that's a minor point.
Otherwise, this is a great story and I can't wait to read the next in the series...Libby or Mac?
Thank you NetGalley and Montlake Romance for an advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.
I don't even know where to begin! Fawn gets a crazy hot new neighbor and the story unfolds from there. It has a little bit of drama and suspense. Definitely keeps you reading and wanting more. Excited to read more in the series.
5 DIZZYING STARS!
Let it be known that Aurora Rose Reynolds will forever be the Queen of Alpha Males!!
Running into Love was a sweet romance with lots of laughs and tender moments. Its got a light touch of angst and a hint of mystery and thrill. What a fitting title for a book... Especially since Fawn Reed literally ran into love, eyes closed and arms out!
Fawn was my soul sista. From her graphic tees to her love of books. She's quirky and prone to fall on her face. She's got a heart of gold and a feisty side as well. With her lovable Muffin (a 70 pound mutt) by her side, she could conquer the world.
Then we have the dreamy Levi. He's a NYPD detective and he's just moved across the hall from Fawn. Levi immediately sees the beauty within her and can't help but stake his claim. Of course, Fawn is oblivious. Maybe because she's jaded and stubborn, or because she tries to run and hide behind failed relationships. Thankfully, Levi is patient and doesn't put up with her shit for too long lol. He tells her how it is #blesshim and shows her how beautiful falling for someone could be #sigh.
Together, these two are cute and supportive. Plus, they both come from big and loud families, so there's a whole lot of crazy and shenanigans going on that are guaranteed to have you laughing!
Running into Love was everything my soul needed. It was like a cup of creamy, hot chocolate on a cold winter day, warming me up on the inside. If you need that light, fun and sexy read, this book is right up your alley. Afterall, Reynolds knows how to bring the #BOOM.
4.5 Sigh-Worthy stars!
OMG! Aurora Rose Reynolds sprinkled her fairly dust once again and penned a smoking hot, heartfelt, humorous and utterly addictive romance with ALL THE FEELS!
I just could not stop grinning like a giddy schoolgirl from the first page till the last. Speaking of starting thing off with a bang, Levi and Fawn had the one of the most adorable “meet cute” moments—like EVER! I just adored Fawn in all her bumbling, endearing awkwardness. She was such a unique, relatable heroine struggling with the kinds of insecurities and hang-ups we all face! And sigh… ARR always pens the DREAMIEST Alpha males who are equal parts sweet and dominant and they always manage to melt my heart. Levi, her hunky new neighbor, had infinite patience and was so charming and chivalrous and protective and sexy, and I could go on and on swooning over this the big, handsome lawman. And gah!! Every time he called Fawn "baby" I got tingly butterflies in the pit of my belly.
There were oodles of sparks between this darling duo and delicious push pull throughout and of course plenty of panty melting hot sexy times too!
One of my favorite aspects of Ms. Reynolds’ writing is her depiction of loving families sans the silly OTT drama you usually see in romances. Sure Fawn’s sisters, Mac and Lois, drove her batty sometimes, as sisters tend to do, but through it all they were always there to love and support each other. And omgeee I just got the biggest mom and dad crush over her parents- “Mamacita” and “Daddio”! They were not only awesome, devoted parents but still crazy in love after all these years. And hee hee they might have been a "tad" overzealous in pushing Fawn into going full throttle ahead in her relationship with Levi. The scenes where they unintentionally embarrassed Fawn in front of her new boyfriend were hysterical, and I love how Fawn was holding out hope for a real bona fide love like they had. Levi had some mighty big shoes to fill on that front but I am happy to report that our hot, sexy man in blue stepped up BIG TIME for his girl!!
And last but not least, I MUST give a shoutout to Muffin! Like seriously the funniest, cutest, most stubborn dog ever and she provided endless comic relief throughout!
Bottom Line: RUNNING INTO LOVE stole my heart and left me swooning in delight!

I can always count on Ms. Reynolds for a light and sexy bit of insta-love fun. Running into Love starts strong with the hilarious way in which Fawn and Levi meet. Fate has them becoming neighbors soon after, giving Levi every chance to sweep Fawn off her feet.
Levi was the typical ARR hero: bossy, alpha and super-hot. Once he realizes what Fawn is to him he goes all out in pursuit. He could be sweet and romantic, and the fact that he was a cop made him pretty much perfect to me.
Fawn was a totally different story. She’s a dedicated teacher who loved her kids and she could be funny, sweet and caring. While I liked her at the beginning with her clumsy yet adorable behavior coming across as a bit oblivious, her cluelessness increases exponentially until it was just unbelievable and I don’t mean this in a good way, I was at a point where I thought she was either really stupid or she played dumb 99% of the time. I usually don’t mind my heroines being unaware of their own allure or not reading into interactions with the opposite sex. And while I can grant Fawn the fact that the dating scene today could be a tad confusing for someone not really into it, well… I just felt her Alicia Silverstone impersonation of totally clueless was way overplayed.
As it is, I still enjoyed most of the story, Levi’s almost perfection made up for a lot of my annoyance with Fawn and once they get together things mostly work out seamlessly. The family scenes are completely hilarious in their absurdity and I am really curious as to who the next couple in the series will be.
I loved some parts of Running into Love: the banter, their chemistry and both their families made for a great group of characters I want to know more of. Fawn and Levi’s chemistry was really good and their sexy times were totally steamy. Was this my favorite book by Ms. Reynolds? Not really. Fawn kind of tanked for me personally, taking some of the enjoyment out of the story, but this is a strong beginning for a new series I can’t wait to know more of.
Aurora Rose Reynolds is known for her romance books that give you the BOOM! and this book give you the boom, but in lower case letters. Now let me clarify that is not a bad thing, this book feels different to her other stories, its funnier and still as romantic, but the romance simmers along before it boils over in the really good way. We have all read books where either the female or male has given up on love, but it was good to read about both our main characters experiencing this. So when the passion ignites and the characters feel it, it felt more powerful. I will always love Aurora's books with the BOOM! factor, but i loved this one just as much

I liked this book right from the beginning but as I read it kept growing on me more and more and by the end I loved it!
This is a new series by ARR and so I wasn't sure what to expect - I kept waiting for the drama and angst but it never came (which I loved). This book was just a sweet, romantic, honest to goodness love story with the witty dialogue that I expect from ARR and a gentle alpha hero - which I also loved! It was so well done. Really I felt that Levi made this story - he was like the tide, just a constant presence for Fawn and was persistently determined but softly without being a OTT alpha. However Fawn was a totally lovable character as well and I could totally relate to her.
Cannot wait for more in this series!
