An useful book to anyone interested in the beginning of Israeli politics and media. Although it is a translation, written by the son of the famous Tommy Lapid and many nuances are probably lost in between interpretations and translations, there are plenty of details to nurture the curiosity about 'how everything started' in the newly created state of Israel. Lapid's personal family story is also noteworthy, an example of the dramatic human changes taking place during WWII in Central Europe. An interesting lecture with food for thought long after you finished the book.
