I always like Harlan Coben's books, either as part of a series or as stand alone stories. I especially love the dogs and the humor he puts in his books

In high school, Nap Dumas’ brother Leo and girlfriend Diana—daughter of the town sheriff—are found dead along the railroad tracks in an affluent New Jersey suburb. Most people believe it to simply be a suicide, but Nap does not. Now, fifteen years later, a high school classmate is found murdered and the only fingerprints with the body are from Nap’s high school girlfriend, Maura, who disappeared from his life shortly after Leo and Diana’s death. Now convinced that the two death’s years ago weren’t a suicide Nap teams up with the now retired sheriff and classmates from his past to uncover the truth.
I wouldn’t say that the plot of Don’t Let Go is one of Harlan Coben’s best. It didn’t catch me as well as some of his previous novels like The Stranger or Fool Me Once. But just because the plot wasn’t as interesting doesn’t mean the writing was the same. In his true fashion, Coben knows how to write to keep your attention and to keep turning pages. Despite my lack of interest in the plot, I still nearly finished the whole book in one sitting. Fans of Coben won’t want to miss Don’t Let Go but if it falls towards the bottom of your to-read list, you won’t have to feel all that bad. 3.5 stars.

Harlan Coben never disappoints. With each new novel, I always think he's topped the last one and can't possibly get any better. And I'm always wrong. Don't let Go fooled me completely and I loved every page.
