I’m a sucker for Scotland, romance, comedy, and of course an accent. This book was perfect because it combined all of those. I’d recommend to anyone who likes rom-com and a British setting!

This was just okay for me. I enjoyed it for a little while, and then Georgia's pushiness really started to grate on me. I get that she's supposed to be awesome at her job, but when someone is telling you straight up "no", take the hint. Or maybe after the third and fourth time, listen. It wasn't being tenacious, it was being completely inconsiderate. I did like the details and settings of the Scottish town. It made me feel like I was part of it. Although this was a smash hit for me, I would give this author another read.

Cullum has secluded himself in the town he grew up in. His father wanted him to be a cut throat business / architect like him. After an older couple were lied to by his father - the corporation needed the land to complete their planned project. Cullum lost confidence / respect for his dad. He returns to the local town - buys the local pub and hotel and is attempting to return the buildings back the their glory days. What he doesn't want is for the outside world to come knocking on his door. He feels like he needs to protect the town from being hurt, taken advantage of. Little does he know that trouble is coming soon - knocking on his door and the whole town is willing to he[p him see the light .

Georgia has been tasked with finding a local Scottish village that her corporation can buy and renovate to make into a bed and breakfast / escape for world travelers. . The Inn keeper she is tacked with convincing is Cullum. He does not want to modernize the Inn or have the town changed to meet the demands of the tourists.

Georgia will slowly realize that Cullum and she are meant to be together.

It take a goat, and caring bunch of villagers to open Cullum and Gerogia's eyes to love and eachother.

Opposites attract! What a fun read. Spunky, smart heroine who knows what she wants and the Scottish highlander (big man in a kilt w/the accent...who can resist). Loved the characterizations and how the author captures the feel of the small town. Sweet, cute and sexy read that didn't last nearly long enough.

I loved everything about this book from the beautiful Scottish setting to the characters to the scorching hot chemistry between Georgia and Callum. I appreciated Georgia's growth and all that she learned in such a short period of time. I don't often reread books, but I already know I'll be rereading this someday soon!

Ten Days with the Highlander is the first book in the contemporary romance Love Abroad series by Hayson Manning. This book was a quick read that completely hit the spot if you are looking for a romantic romp that will make you smile. I loved the banter between Georgia and Callum, and I really enjoyed the story. This one is short enough to be read in one quick sitting and just long enough to feel like more than a novella.

In Ten Days with the Highlander we meet Georgia, who is in Scotland on a business trip to try and buy a Scottish Hotel and Callum who is the grumpy owner of said hotel who is determined not to sell it to a "tourist company". I loved perky Georgia and snarky jaded Callum, and I really enjoyed watching the two of them erode each other's defenses. Even though this book was on the shorter end, their romance didn't feel rushed or "insta lovey". It was a great progression.

Overall, this book is perfect if you are looking for a lighthearted read. There wasn't a ton of depth or serious themes covered. It was pure frivolous fun in the best way. I really enjoyed this book and I am super interested in continuing on with the Love Abroad series and with Hayson Manning books in general. This one put a smile on my face and I can't wait to discover more of her characters and stories.

This was a nice easy read which I felt was a well-written enjoyable tale.

This was the first book I have read by the lovely Hayson Manning but I am on the lookout for more….

As someone who loves to watch the Christmas movies on TV from mid October this was just my style of light hearted romance where you know the plot within the first few pages but you still need to keep reading just in case.

A smexy, playful 10 days in Scotland's highlands, with a mythical grotto, futile searches for a solid "bar," finding a charming pub and genuine community instead.

Inexplicably drawn to each other. Mutual, consensual oogling ensues, whilst holding on tight to opposite lifestyles and goals. The question dangles not when but who will cave first...the Corporate or the Sofa?

Very quickly, our H/h unexpectedly come to a very real crossroads *sigh*

This one is worthy of your reading time to find out whose lifestyle choice wins out, Georgia or Callum's ;)

Here's a hint...everybody wins.
Even Delilah the goat and Hello Kitty.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
My first time reading this author. The cover and blurb drew me in, but the romance made me a fan!

**I received a copy of Ten Days with the Highlander from Entangled Lovestruck Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review. The opinions expressed below are mine alone and not solicited in any way.**

Ten Days with the Highlander by Hayson Manning is an absolutely delightful book and I loved it! I have read the author before Bound to the Bounty Hunter series. The chemistry between the town, Callum, Delilah the goat, Hello Kitty (Can I have her?) and Georgia was just the right amount needed for this short read.

Georgia Paxton has 10 days to convince Callum MacGregor to sign papers with LiveAbout change his quaint Inn into a money making tourist attraction. Georgia is determine that there's nothing that is going to ruin her perfect signing record. When Callum hears her spiel and says No and that he'll change her mind about taking over his Inn with just 10 days to show her the real Scotland. When she meets Hello Kitty who knows how to open doors, Delilah the goat who loves to ride shot gun in the car-with the window open of course. But its when he takes her to the Grotto and drinks from the cups that she starts to think perhaps it's time to preservation may not be such a bad thing. Besides what red blooded woman doesn't dream of a handsome Scot in his Kilt asking if she wanted to if the men wear anything under their kilt? Oh heck yeah I'm one of those women.

Callum MacGregor was part of the Corporate world as a architect but gave it up to come back to his town buying the Inn and Pub restoring it to it's former glory. He doesn't want to bring tourist or the internet to the town changing it forever. But when he meets Georgia it's like fate is giving him a sign to convince her to keep progress away. After all his ailing mother is to local palm reader and Robert Bruce has the whole town watching over him plus Ainsley swears by her Lovesick sauce. So can Mavis whose beanies have words of wisdom sewn in the crown, Ainsley with her sauce, Wendy and her group of women at the coffee sauce change Georgia's mind to not only stay but show Callum that change is a good thing.

Go-getter Georgia Paxton has ten days to acquire a quaint hotel in the Scottish Highlands for her travel accommodation company before she’s off on her next grand adventure. Too bad the sexy, broody Scot who owns the place is dead against the idea…and that she’s in very real danger of losing their little bet to see who can convince whom first. There’s no way Callum MacGregor is going to let the gorgeous American turn his tiny hometown over to bored tourists looking to satisfy their Outlander fantasies. He only has ten days to convince her to slow down and see the magic of the town and its people. If he succeeds, he won’t have to run her out of the county. But if he fails, Georgia might run off with his heart.
This was a cute story. It was a quick read and pretty straight-forward. I really liked both main characters and all of their interactions with each other. I recommend.

My Thoughts:
When I requested this book I didn't realize it was a second look title and a contemporary also.
I read mostly historical romance but that being said this book was a delight to read. Romantic comedy with just a touch of angst between the hero and heroine made this one of the best of it's kind I have read this year.
This pair have more in common than they want to believe and discovering their likes as well as their differences makes for a wonderful tale with both humor and a touch of sadness.
I have this book 4.5 of 5 stars for storyline and characterization and a medium heat sensual rating. There is only one heated encounter but the Sparks fly.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this book to read. This in no way affected my opinion of this title which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

I've received a ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

It was a pretty mediocre romantic comedy novel, but unfortunately nothing particularly stood out from it. It was a quick and easy read if you're looking for something to pass the time with. I wish I had felt more of a connection with the characters and story but I felt nada. Calum and Georgia attraction was immediate and the relationship escalated pretty quickly within 10 day. Besides that, I didn't feel like there was any real chemistry between them besides sexual but who am I to say how love works?! Overall, nothing to brag about.

I had a huge smile on my face from the first paragraph to the last. I enjoyed this book so much and the chemistry between Callum and Georgia was through the roof.

Georgia is in Scotland to convince Callum to turn his rustic hotel into the next tourist spot. But Callum was in Georgia’s shoes before… all corporate, no real life… and he’s determined to show her that his life is the better way to live.

The banter, the looks, the towns people, thesexy times… this whole book had me on cloud nine. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read more from this author!

Ten days in Scotland is all Georgia has to convince the owner of a hotel that he needs to sell. Callum has ten days to show Georgia what's she's been missing. Love, the Scottish Highlands and a lot of witty banter. A book vacation that leaves you with all the feels. Loved this story.

Aww Ten Days With the Highlander is such a sweet, cute read! And sexy too. How can it not be sexy? It's set in Scotland where the men are hot, burly and wear kilts. Be still my heart...

Georgia is off to Scotland to try to convince a local hotel owner to let her company acquire his hotel. Then she'll be off to yet another destination, another adventure. What she didn't plan on was the hotel owner would burrow his way into her previously closed in heart and make her yearn for things like love, and home, and settling in with good people.

I swooned really hard when reading Ten Days With the Highlander. It's one of those sweet, feel-good reads with a touch of the sexy. It just makes you feel warm all over. And Callum...ah, he is the most swoonworthy of them all. I can't say that I ever connected with Georgia until the epilogue, but Callum, his goat, his cat, his people like Ainsley, sheesh, they're all so damn lovable. I honestly don't see how Georgia fought herself for so long about them all because they're the kind you immediately fall in love with like I did.

Ten Days With the Highlander is sweet, heartwarming, sexy and has a hot Scot, what more could you possibly ask for?!
