I picked up this book not knowing anything about the author or the series.
While others will give you the synopsis, I will give you my thoughts on the book/
I found it to be entertaining , interesting, and with a good plot. The stories of Skye , her brother Robby, Finn, and the Brotherhood kept the story moving along.
As much I enjoyed reading the book, I did find that at times it moved very slowly and could have been 50 pages shorter without any effect on the plot. Also, some of the dialogue of the characters at times seemed a adolescent and not words spoken by an adult.
Due to that it is a 3 rating. But, it did kept my interest and it’s obvious that Ms Nantus is a very talented author.
I was gifted this copy by Netgalley. the opinions expressed are solely my own.

Good book, will read the others in -the series.

When Skye's brother, Robby, was found in an alley beaten and overdosed on heroin the nurse, Pat, gives her a card that leads to the Brotherhood. The police can't/won't do anything and she intends to see the leader of the biker gang dead.

When she asks for that very thing they will not do that but they will help her see them in prison. Finn is assigned as leader of the case and he and Skye have a big job ahead of them while also waiting for her brother to come out of his coma.

When she learns why Finn feels as strongly as she does it pulls them closer. The question is what, if anything, will become of what they develop of all of this is said and done.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Holy nuts Finn!!! The brotherhood is quickly heating up and Finn reeled me in hook, line and sinker.

Her brother in a coma, beaten and body full of uncut heroin, she needs help. She's given a card to the brotherhood. She comes to them as a last resort. She wants blood from the leader of the MC that's taken over her tiny town and is to blame for her brothers current state. Logan who is the head of the brotherhood gives this job to Finn. Finn's got his own demons to wrestle with this, add to that he's taken with Skye. They men are worried Skye is a loose cannon and make clear to her that she cannot kill the leader of the MC. Delta Force doesn't kill for sport. They served together in the military and they've been there. Killing is last resort for them.

This story is tightly woven, the plot twists and turns and I loved Skye and Finn. This story for me lost steam at one point but then cranked right back up again and went full throttle. You'll meet characters from book one in here as well as new characters. Looking forward to book three.

Book 2 in the Delta Force Brotherhood, Hard Run is a great read with a solid balance between suspense and romance. I am really enjoying this series and author. Skye and Finn are a good match and when the time comes for Finn to accept what could be will it be worth the sacrifice. I would recommend readers add this to their list

Just as good as the first book! There's a good balance of suspense and sweet romance. Finn is protective of Skye from the first and there is good reason from his past for that. It's reassuring that the men of Devil's Playground are not out to kill in cold blood, but see justice served and stand up for that. While it was realistic that Finn and Skye had to wait for something to happen at the truck stop, the book got a little slow during that portion of the story.

I really loved this book. It was filling with plenty of action, with just the right amount of romance and fantastic characters and storyline. Once you start reading this book it's hard to put down it just grips you the whole way through the book. What a fantastic book and will be trying more books from this author. Would recommend

**I received Hard Run from Entangled Publishing and Net Galley in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**

Hard Run by Sheryl Nantus is the second book in her Delta Force series and I have to say having read both books now each one gets better and better. I think that so far I love this one the best.

Skye Harris has about a half a dozen jobs and has been her brother Robby's sister and parent since their parents were killed in an accident. But its been rough as they can barely keep their heads above water. But now her brother's in a coma because he was attacked and given an overdose of heroin by the local MC gang. One of the nurses hands her the Delta Brotherhood's card and she goes to Vegas to the Devil's Playground seek their help. Dylan sends Finn Storm to Whistling Winds to help take down the gang and stop the flow of drugs into the town. But there are twists and turns, a betrayal of a friend and when she has to make a decision with Robby will she stay with Finn or leave?

Finn Storm is a survivor not only through several deployments but also when his mother turns to drugs while he's overseas and dies. But Dylan knows that he's the best person to send and help out Skye seek justice for her brother. When the Skye and Finn take their attraction to the next level its combustible but when he's finally able to infiltrate the club's ranks will he make it back in time to save Skye from the MC?

There is a hint at the next book at the end and I can't wait. I'd give Hard Run more than 5 stars if I could because it's well worth it.

I was excited to get the Brotherhood back... So this is the second book in series, and it is Finn's book, and we get a little more of his background. We meet Skye, who wants revenge on a Biker gang who is responsible for her brother being in a coma due to a heroin overdose. Skye knows he does not take drugs, she wants to kill the man responsible, so she goes to the Devils playground to ask the Brotherhood for help, she meets Dylan, Jessie and Finn, and they advise, they do not kill, but they can still help. I loved, reading about my favorite couple Dylan and Jessie, Jessie is awesome. Finn goes back to her hometown to gather evidence to bring down gang, and they fall in love, but they are surrounded by danger. Eventually they have all that they need, and the heartbreaking decisions arise, what will they do? Finn, luckily does have friends to help him with his decision, but what are they? Does Finn, have anything to offer her? Will Sky be able to leave her brother? Well my friends you have to read, but you will enjoy.
