I received an advanced review copy of this book from The Great Thoughts Ninja Review Team. All opinions are my own. I really enjoyed this light hearted book with its laugh out moments and characters that will have you cheering for them. I don't read much romance or chic lit but really enjoyed the story.

I enjoyed this book. It was a fast read and you hoped it would come out with 2 HEA's. I hope this is still more to come about these 4 characters as the book left you wanting to see how the stories continued.

I can't really review this book - I wrote it!!! I'm not sure why it was added to my shelf.

I received an early copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
My rating scale:
5☆ - I loved this book and it brought out true emotion in me (laughter, anger, a good cry, etc)
4☆ - I loved this book.
3☆ - I liked this book.
2☆ - I didn't really care for this book.
1☆ - I did not like this book at all and probably did not finish it.
The Boyfriens Swap is my first book by Meredith Schorr but it definitely won't be my last! I hate that real life stuff got in my way of finishing this sooner.
I loved the story - it was definitely an easy, fun and flirty read. I was pulled me right in to Christmas with these families! I was able to connect with each of the main characters and really hope there is a follow up book to see what happens in the future.

I've been a long time fan of Meredith's books, in fact she is my favorite chic-lit author. Every time she comes out with a new book, it instantly becomes my favorite. The Boyfriend Swap was no exception.
Face paced and laugh out loud funny , The Boyfriend Swap is a delightful read. It's a little drama a little romance, and a whole lot of fun. Hooked from page one, I didn't want to put it down. I had to know, How does this crazy Swap end? Does it work? Does it go as planned? It was a wild ride!
One of my picks as best summer reads, if you enjoy romantic comedy and chic-lit definitely check this book out!
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book from the author and Netgalley

Thank you NetGalley for an ARC of this book,
What I liked about this book is that it didn't have the obvious ending. The characters grow on you and the story is not as simple as you would think from the title.
All in all a very nice read, entertaining but not silly.

A thoroughly enjoyable romantic comedy.
When parental pressure meets Christmas gatherings, Robyn Lane and Sidney Bellows convince their boyfriends to swap partners for the holiday week.
Robyn's Perry Smith is awed by the Bellows mansion and the entertainment industry contacts he is desperate to meet. Sidney's Will Brady finds himself back in the town where he went to high school and lived a few doors down from Robyn and celebrating Chrismukkah with the Lanes.
Great characters, well described locations and rapid chapters as Robyn and Sidney take turns telling the story.
I volunteered to read an ARC from Henery Press through Net Galley and I'm glad I did!

What a delicious book! I loved it so much, I couldn't stop reading and stayed up half the night because I had to know what was going to happen next.
The story is so much fun and the characters immediately grew on me. I adored Will and Robyn!
This is my favourite Meredith Schorr novel to date and I highly recommend it.

Oh my this was such a good read. I loved it. This is the first book my Meredith Schorr that I have read and I am impressed. I really enjoyed reading this book. It was such an amazing and entertaining story of love gone wrong.
In this story Sidney (an up and coming lawyer) and Robyn (a music teacher) meet by chance through a mutual friend, Ann Marie. During this meeting they talk about their meddling parents and how they don’t want their parents to spend the holidays with their boyfriends. Perry, Robyn’s struggling actor boyfriend, is not her parents favorite and they constantly hound her about the relationship. Will, is Sidney’s successful lawyer boyfriend, who her parents haven’t met yet but as soon as they do they will talk lawyer and ruin her personal relationship with him. Ann Marie suggest they swap boyfriends for the Christmas holiday, jokingly. Then Sidney pushes the idea into reality. When the time comes to meet the boyfriends, Robyn is stunned speechless and she learns that Sidney’s boyfriend Will turns out to be her old secret high school crush. With it being too late to back out now, Robyn is forced to spend time with Will and try to not let the old feelings from the past come forward and remain faithful to her crazy actor boyfriend Perry.
How will the two couples make it through the holidays? Will Robyn be able to hold back her feelings as they resurface? Will Perry get networking he is so desperate to have to help his career? Can Sidney loosen up her bossy ways? Can Will hide his hurt and forgive Sidney for wanting the swap?
Meredith Schorr writing skills are wonderful. She took her time setting up the plot and writing her story, not rushing to get to the end. Her characters are charismatic and entertaining. Her story has funny moments and moments where you will feel sad with the outcome of events. It definitely has you hooked from the very first pages. I was captivated with the events as they unfolded. I loved every minute of it. I am very interested in more books by this author. If you are a lover of contemporary romance, then you will fall in love with this book. It tells a story for your hearts desire, fairy tales and all.

I haven’t read a slow burn for a while (they have either been all or, in thankfully rare cases, nothing) but it took some time for The Boyfriend Swap, by Meredith Schorr, to warm up for me – although when it did, it caught fire.
I’m not sure whether it was the characters I struggled with at first or the premise that you could swap boyfriends like they were Lego trading cards but, as I learned more about them and the reasons behind what they were up to, I got more into it.
I especially enjoyed the way the relationship between Robyn and Will develops and learning more about their history. Her family is also a delight.
Their story is like a little boat sailing along on a gentle breeze whereas Sidney and Perry’s side of things is more like a speedboat on choppy water.
I really liked the way they balanced each other out.
There are some funny moments, on both sides, and the story keeps you guessing about how things will turn out until the very end.
All in all this was a great tale and I'm happy to give it four stars.
Thank you to Henery Press (via NetGalley) for the ARC in return for an honest opinion.

A refreshing take on a old theme. I loved the characters and most were believable. the ending is predictable but still a fun book for the beach.

Looking for a good read this upcoming Christmas season? Christmas time is just around the corner and for two New Yorkers Robyn and Sidney, instead of looking forward to taking home their boyfriends for Christmas they are dreading it. Robyn has always dated artists and creative types and is currently dating Perry, a struggling actor, you would think coming from a creative family that they would love Perry, but the truth is her family can't stand him. Sidney, on the other hand, is a lawyer working at her Dad's company and is dating Will - a lawyer at another firm. She finds that all her boyfriends are put off or hijacked by her Dad who lives for the working life. Over a girls night, an idea is formed to swap boyfriends this Christmas season. This would have been a great idea if they were all complete strangers but turns out Will - Sidney's boyfriend, is none other than Will - the guy who right through High School, Robyn had a major crush on. Both parties reluctantly agree after a bit more convincing and so begins The Boyfriend Swap for the Christmas season. What will happen though when both families love who their daughters have brought home, and lines start to blur in both the fake relationships? The Boyfriend Swap was a fun chick lit novel, and though predictable as you could see where it was going to end, it was fun to read the two different family dynamics.

I really loved this book. Of course the idea that four people would willingly switch partners for the holidays does seem a little bizarre. However I did enjoy the swap and how it was written it felt more believable then I could imagine from the description.

This book is utterly addicting! It is also completely unique, surprising, and enjoyable. I loved the Boyfriend Swap!! In fact, I loved it so much that I know i am going to be doing a re-read right before the holidays because it is simply that good!

I am a huge fan of Meredith Schorr. I have loved each and every book that she has written. When I learn that she has a new book out my expectations are high, after all, she is one of my all time favorite authors. The Boyfriend Swap didn't only live up to my expectations it exceeded it. The novel was impossible to put down. The only reason it took me two sittings to finish it was because I had to leave the house. But as soon as I returned I immediately had to resume reading because I was so in love with the story and all the characters. The Boyfriend Swap is the perfect light hearted romantic comedy that you'll read with a smile on your face and the characters will stick with you for a long time after the last page is read.

A fun, flirty read! Easy to admire the strong female characters and the unconventional means they find love.
