You're Gonna Love Me by Robin Lee Hatcher has a gorgeous cover that gripped my attention. I love how the woman is totally focused on the man in the picture, and he leans in capture her gaze. This drew me into the story right away. As for the novel, I knew it was a contemporary romance, so I knew what I was expecting when I picked up the book. I knew I was going to get a quick romance with a lot to tension thrown at the couple as they decide if they want to be together over everything else fighting for their attention.

With predictable plot, I knew that Sam and Nick would end up together. But I think the fun part of some contemporary romances is trying to figure out what conflicts keep them apart and why. What does it take for the couple to decide that they were completely right for each other? This time around with You're Gonna Love Me I had a hard time enjoying the novel. I knew where the novel was headed, so I got bored. Sam and Nick seemed very one-dimensional to me. I really didn't care what happened to either one of them. There story wasn't that interesting.

While I enjoyed returning to the small town of Thunder Creek and seeing Derek and Brooke from the first novel in this series, You'll Think of Me, and how much their marriage and life has changed since the first book, I wasn't drawn into Sam and Nick's stories as much. I enjoying watching the world around them interact with the couple. I love the old house that Nick bought, but I knew that it was a home that he bought with Sam and a future family in mind.

Overall, You're Gonna Love Me by Robin Lee Hatcher is a predictable, unoriginal novel that does return to Thunder Creek, Idaho, but I had a hard time getting engrossed in the novel and the couple. They didn't seem realistic enough for me. I wanted more from the story.

I received a complimentary copy of You're Gonna Love Me by Robin Lee Hatcher from Thomas Nelson Publishing, but the opinions stated are all my own.

Sam is going home...for a short time.

When her Grandmother accidently falls off her horse, Sam races back home to take care of her...and get away from her boss. But she never would have imagined running into Nick again. The last thing she remembered about Nick was that he cared too much about his adventures than her and in the end, that broke her heart.

Nick remembers being a jerk to Samantha. Letting her go for the sake of adventure was the dumbest thing he ever did. But things are different now. Having suffered a head injury on one of his adventures, Nick is done with the adrenaline junkie life...for good. Now if he could only get Sam to see that. Now that she's back in his life, maybe he could have a second chance with her.

This book was good. A little slow at the beginning but the ending made it all worthwhile. I enjoyed this book but only gave it three stars.

This book is appropriate for all readers.

Samantha Winters takes a leave of absence from a job that she is not happy with to take care of her grandmother that has fallen from a horse and needs a caretaker. Samantha did not plan on seeing Nick Chastain who had broken her heart two years prior.
Nick is a risk taker who loves adventure. Right after his break up with Samantha he had a bad accident and lost parts of his memory.
Samantha lives in fear and is afraid to let Nick back into her life. Nick really cares for Samantha but is afraid he will end up hurting her again. Can they get past all this fear to find love again?
Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read and review.

I usually have the same thought every time I read one of Robin Hatcher’s books. You look at where you are in the book and you don’t want it to end. You love the characters, the interaction and even the way she describes a ride on a bicycle as she draws you into the scene.
You will enjoy meeting Nick and Samantha learning of their insecurities and strengths. The book is fast paced and you look forward watching the story develop. I highly recommend this book. Wish it wasn't over!

This moved a little too slowly for me and I had trouble getting into the story. There was too much description, not enough dialogue. I didn't read it to the end. This was the first time I read anything from this author. Not sure if I would give the writer another chance. It's clean but the writing style is a bit boring for me. I got a complimentary copy from NetGalley.

I was surprised find that this story was so predictable and typical. I had expected much more from Ms. Hatcher. It was a quick read with a sweet story

Loved this book! Laughter and tears as I turned the pages, falling head over heels with some of the liveliest imaginary people I've fictionally met. A fabulous summer read, and like the title says, you're going to love this book.
