This book helps you to understand your deep dreams, why they happen and where they're coming from. It helps you to develop a deeper innerself and understanding of the dream relationship.

I very seldom remember my dreams if I dreamed at all and if I do remember most of it is snippets that make no sense. Or I wake up with a feeling. This book helps you remember and interpret your dreams. I have had a few dreams from years ago that I have never forgotten. This book has helped me interpret those dreams and why they are still in my memories years later.

The book is easy to read and understand. It is very helpful for interpreting your dreams and actually gives you a couple of interpretations for certain instances in a dream.

I received this book from the Author or Publisher via Netgalley.com to read and review.

This is the book of all dreams. Literally. I will admit I was initially drawn to this book because of the cover, however, after reading the first few chapters, I was certain I had unearthed the Holy Grail of dream interpretation. From dream journaling, to lucid dreaming and even dream interpretation, Kala Ambrose covers it all. She provides step by step instructions on how one can become more of an avid and woke dreamer. In addition to dream analysis, Ambrose also helps the reader learn about emotional catharsis by revealing personal situations concerning her own life, she shows how our waking moments, past present and future will affect our subconscious. Whether you are a novice dream weaver or an expert, I highly recommend this "How to guide" to dreaming. I really wish there was a companion journal to go along with this that has her various steps outlined; but even without a companion journal, the reader is able to create their own by purchasing a cheap notebook.

Non-Fiction, Mind, Body, Dreams

Recently I have been experiencing very vivid dreams. I started writing them down so I could look up their meanings. This book made that process so much easier. The book has nine chapters (a very auspicious number).

Contents
One: How to Remember Your Dreams
In this chapter, the author provides the steps to prepare for sleep and suggests a guided meditation. The imagery she provides is amazing. I have written it down to begin using before going to bed. At the end of the chapter is a six-step exercise to train your mind to remember your dreams. She also explains how you can alter your sleep cycle. The next exercise helps you generate creative ideas while napping.

Two: Interpreting Your Daily Life Dreams
She provides steps to help interpret your dreams. She gives several examples of items in dreams and possible meanings. She discusses the most common types of dreams, which include falling, chasing, flying, being naked, and more. At the end of the chapter are steps to creative a dream workbook. This will help you identify the meanings of specific images in your dreams

Three: Prophetic and Recurring Dreams
In this chapter, the author explains a prophetic dream. There are both warning and positive dreams. She gives examples of a few she had and the responses she received when discussing them with the people involved. She tells a wonderful story of a past life experience and how it connects to her current life.

Four: Teaching Dreams
Teaching dreams are described as when your subconscious or higher-self journeys to the other side. There is an exercise to connect to your higher-self or spirit guide which also includes a guided meditation and helpful tips.

Five: Visitation Dreams
In this chapter, the author describes the difference between visitation dreams and wishful dreams. She talks about her grandfather’s passing and the difficult time she had as a pre-teenager. There are different types of visitation dreams: meeting those who have already crossed, deliver messages. She also talks about visitation dreams shared by more than one person at the same time. Some rules for contacting spirits are also included. She discusses the issue of emotional healing and grief that can come from visitation dreams.

Six: Lucid Dreams
I was not very familiar with the term lucid dreaming before reading this book. She gives the definition as being aware that you are dreaming while a part of your consciousness remains active and is able to observe the dream. After reading this description, I realize I have been having many lucid dreams.
Seven: Nightmares
In this chapter, she talks about bad dreams and nightmares. She gives steps to ensure negative forces do not come around you while you sleep. She also discusses the effects nightmares and bad dreams have on us while we sleep.

Eight: Sleep Walking and Sleep Talking
She gave examples of when she would sleep walk or talk. When she overheard her mother and husband talking on the telephone, she was able to perform complex calculations. Both her mother and husband woke her up and asked her about it but she had no memory of the questions. She explains this is similar to Edgar Cayce.

Nine: Manifesting Your Daydreams
She talks about adults tell children daydreaming is silly. She explains how this affects how we feel about daydreams as adults.

This is a wonderful book about understanding and interpreting dreams. The book is well written and is easily understandable. There are many exercises and recommendations to keep a dream journal and workbook. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about dreams.

This book can easily be used as a tool to understand your dream and even  help you remember your dream (because you dream every night regardless if you remember your dreams or not). The book is easy to read and and provides clear instructions for how to dream and how to interpreter your dreams. The author manged create this book and instructions while coming across of genuine and down to earth, without seeming pompous.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This book is just what I needed! I have a hard time remembering my dreams, no matter what I do it's hard and that's sad because I dream every single night and I know this because I always remember parts of my dreams but never the whole thing or enough for it to make sense. This book really helps, I'm slowly learning to remember my dreams and find out what they mean. It's so cool and I fully recommend it to anyone who wants to remember their dreams. The author writes in such a way that it's easy to understand and flow. The things in here make sense, the author isn't asking the reader to do weird things in order to remember your dreams. It's just awesome. Get this book ASAP!

It will be live on blog 11/1/2017
