40 Laws of Nature - Believe and Receive by Melissa Alvarez is a very readable book. At the beginning of the book, she gives a synopsis of the forty various laws of nature, and then takes a deeper look into each one, giving each law its own chapter.

What I liked about the book is that in each chapter, she describes the meaning/thinking behind the law, gives ideas as to how to implement it in your life, followed by suggested actions, ways to try it now, and practical application tips.

A bit new-agey, but a good self-improvement read.

Many thanks to Net Galley and Llewellyn Publications for allowing me to read a copy of this book. All opinions expressed in this review are strictly my own.

I loved this book. I didn't read it in one sitting, I tried to read one chapter or one "natural law" a day to really let it sink in and think about it first. What I loved the most about this book was that she didn't just explain the natural laws but also that she gave tips on how to apply them into our every-day-lives.

I started out several years ago, learning about the Law of Attraction through Esther & Jerry Hicks. I then discovered The Secret. I loved them & wanted to know more. I have read many books since then, on the Law of Attraction, which lead me to discover the natural Laws of the Universe. I really enjoyed this book, as it gives an explanation of each of the natural laws, then the best part is how to take action & best use these laws in our day-to-day lives. By taking action, this will lead to some very profound changes in your life when you are willing to believe AND receive!

I really do believe in the concept of this book - similar to The Gift but worth a read if you like any ideas around the law of attraction
