The book was well-written, but I didn't really connect with it.
Sorry for the delayed review. I have been working this year to catch up on my netgalley backlog. I appreciate the opportunity to read this book.
I loved this book. As a yoga teacher in training I found this helpful and will most likely use some of this information to add to my practice and teaching.
As a longtime yoga practitioner and a self-labeled creative person, I couldn't read this book fast enough. Well, okay, I read it quickly at first, all the way through practically in one sitting. Now I am going back more slowly, chapter by chapter, week by week, and letting it all sink in. I love the background the author gives to the creative exercises as well as the yoga practices and postures. And these exercises are spot-on perfect! I haven't tried them all yet, but the ones I have tried induce a precious blend of inner and outer creativity with my yoga practice. Highly recommend!
Thanks to NetGalley for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review*
So I'm just getting into Yoga.... and I do mean like basic as basic can get. That being said, I found some really cool stuff in this book. Some things that will actually be useful. Lots of things in here feel like too much for me so if you're more experienced you'll find something in here too. There is so many exercises in this book, from journal writing, meditation and then of course the actual yoga parts.
I fully recommend this book. It's awesome and I think anyone can get anything out of it. It also seems to be helping my creative side, which is greatly in need of help.

This book offers a great deal. It gives you information, creative tasks, and asana recommendations to help you live a fuller, more creative life and get closer to a 'state of yoga'. It is about yoga, self improvement, and bringing a spark of creativity to your life. A lovely book to work through and keep coming back to.
Just because you slap creative in a sentence doesn't make it so. I didn't find any of the things the author promoted to be unlike hat of any other yoga book in the genre. I get trying to appeal to more creative types and what the author is trying to do but nothing in this books seems originally designed for yogi's to find their expressive energies.
This is a beautiful little guide to adding creativity and yoga into your life. It has a lovely, judgement-free approach to exploring different practices.
I don't know if it was my device of the file that was downloaded but the format of this book was all off. Paragraphs merged with others and oftentimes words and phrases were repeated for no reason other than type error. I was looking forward to reading through this book but was really disappointed that I wasn't able to do so.
This was much different than I expected, but I really enjoyed it. It provided a very balanced approach to yoga, and I loved how it focused on more than the physical aspects of yoga. There are many additional exercises for the brain. This book is definitely capable of helping a creative person tap into a deeper level of their creativity, and I absolutely recommend it. My one criticism is that the ebook did not have any pictures, and I think that visual aids could help with some of the poses.
