Ms. Bria was a new to me author, and I really like the writing style she employed in Not Quite Home. I liked the characters and the back story that brought them together. They are believable as if they could be real people, they have experiences throughout the story that could happen to people you might know or meet.. I did enjoy the unexpected twists but also felt like this was a true and strong love story. I liked the idea of Kate showcasing art in her coffee bar and thought the small town feel was comfy. Adam's rush to get in and out was part of the draw to get me interested in the story. and I did feel as if Moss Point was in itself another character of the story.
