This novel was billed under the keywords "mystery and thriller" but it was a lot more mystery and very little thriller. When Ben signs on to be a "jack-of-all-trades" on a yacht destined for Hawaii and Tahiti, he knows next to nothing about sailing or boats and must learn quickly from the captain who is not fond of him from the beginning. So there are a lot of interesting details about sailing, and the landscapes of the tropics are well-written and certainly make you want to take a vacation but the mystery is pretty simple. Some romance and humor. Overall I enjoyed the story.
