The final Larson brothers book is here....and Lynn has saved the HOTTEST for last.

Emma's spent months lusting after her poker playing boss, Damien Larson; while she manages his money, he manages her dreams. But when her brother gets under hot water with Damien, her boss makes an offer even she couldn't dream up. One game -  if Damien wins....he wins Emma. She's now got 30 days as Damien's pet and his tastes run far darker than she knows.

Oooh there have been some dominant hero stories as of late! Lynn's done Damien justice by making us wait for this delectable romance. Damien has a need to control all situations and with his whole dark past he can't afford to risk putting his heart on the line. But he can't deny he's been attracted to Emma since the moment her met her. Once he's finally got her, he does everything and anything to give her every thing she desires.

I was pulling for these two the whole time! Emma needed a chance to let loose and not be so in control. Damien could learn from her not how to love but how to be vulnerable and accept love. With naughty nights and sweet moments between here two...you're in for a new era of dirty romance.

I love the Larson brothers. This one is the story of the youngest brother, Damien. Damien is super sexy and has a touch of cockiness. He owns a nightclub. Emma is a loyal family person. She's the accountant for the club Damien owns. She finds Damien drool worthy. Emma is a good girl and at first I didn't thin her and Damien would be a good match. They way Damien got her to go out with him really didn't sit well with me. I did come around to loving these two together. I went from not sure I wanted these two together to rooting for them to get a happy ever after.

Raw Heat
Larson Brothers series book #3
Release Date: September 5, 2017
Review copy provided by the publisher

Damien. I can't find the words to describe how much I adore this hero. He's broody and kind of mysterious. But that's what he wants you to see. Under all that is a vulnerable man who's never truly been happy. His brothers are his rock, and he loves them fiercely, but he's never considered himself worthy of the love that comes from a healthy relationship with a woman. He's convinced himself that he doesn't need or want it. It's messy and he can't control it. Damien controls all things in his life.

I was a little put off by the situation that brought Damien together with his heroine, Emma. He's her employer, but it was the situation that brought them together intimately. I think the author handled it very tastefully. I didn't get the icky or cheap feeling that I was thinking might come. Cherrie Lynn knows how to take sometimes uncomfortable circumstances and make them ok. She's not afraid to write about stuff that'll make you raise an eyebrow. I love that about her writing!

Emma is my favourite kind of heroine. She's smart and wickedly sassy! She's had a thing for Damien since she started working for him, and while she'd like to be horrified at the circumstances that brought them together, her girly bits have taken over her common sense. Yay!!

Man, I love the push and pull in this book! When Damien lets you see beyond his steely exterior, you can see his affection and growing love for Emma.

Ummm...this book is panty melting. Seriously freaking hot! Out of all three books in this series, this one is by far the sexiest. I liked it...a lot!

I always say that I love those "black moments" in a romance. It's the point in the story where you think the characters can't come back from. You're heart is broken for them and you've almost given up. There's a climatic scene where Damien and Emma finally have it out. They lay their cards on the table. I swear, my heart was in my damn throat the whole time! I could feel the burn in my eyes. I know it sounds crazy, but that's my favourite part. I like to feel their sorrow so intensely that it feels like my own. That is fantastic writing, in my opinion, if you can make that happen!

Cherrie Lynn is an extremely talented writer. I could feel what her characters were feeling. I could see their facial expressions vividly in my mind. I wasn't sure she could out due the previous two books in this series...I was wrong. While this book doesn't have quite the heavy sadness that the others did, it still gave me all the feels. There's so much emotion, it's like being on a roller coaster. I was up and then down dozens of times. It was quite simply, perfect.

While this book can be read as a stand alone, do yourself a favour and start with book #1, Raw Deal. You'll be happy you did!

My 3/3.5 star review was posted on Goodreads and linked below. It will be posted on blog and social media upon release and links will be updated at that time. . UPDATED LINKS 9/5/17

3.5 stars

Damien Larson is smooth talking professional gambler who runs a nightclub with an illegal poker room upstairs. He is seen as cold, calculating, and a loner. His troubled childhood marked him and made him put up walls and guard his heart so not to get close to people and suffer loss. He is controlling in and out of the bedroom and his ideal woman would submit to him. But the one woman he has been wanting seemed out of his reach...until now.

Emma Haskell is employed as the club's accountant. She is considered a good girl and is not happy about the illegal casino on the premises. She is a numbers girl, honest. awkward, smart, and does not put on any pretenses.

When Emma's brother gets in a bad position, she makes a deal with the devil. She will be at his mercy for thirty days. She is not afraid to challenge him or talk back. But she does not want to admit that it does not sound all that bad. After all, Damien is built, sexy and charismatic. And she could use a little attention. But they never expected to unleash such a torrent of lust, passion, and need.

But with both of them afraid to get attached and them spending so much time together, there is plenty of potential for hurt feelings. He does not think he has a heart to give and she is afraid she might give hers too easily. Their evolving dynamics are an exploration in sexuality, trust, and pushing boundaries. Their need makes them vulnerable. But will one of them be pushed until they break?

This was a bit darker, steamier, and centered around a deal that got a bit out of hand. It brings back Damien's brothers MMA fighter, Mike, and rock star, Zane, and their love interests. These three brothers came out of a broken childhood with a tight bond, but each of them were unique and affected in different ways. We have seen them deal with their issues and fight for love with the most unlikely of matches. I did not connect with Damien as much as I did with Mike or Zane because he really was more closed off for much of the book. And Damien and Emma's story was not as complex and emotional as the other two. But I am still glad I read it and got to see the series come to a finale.

Emma is drawn to her dark, dangerous boss, but knowing he runs an illegal poker room keeps her attraction at bay. When her brother’s gambling problem threatens her family again, Damian proposes a deal that shocks her as well as intrigues her. She is willing to go to great lengths in order to keep her parents from finding out the depths of her brother’s problem. But agreeing to Damian’s terms introduces Emma to a dark side of her boss that she never knew existed.

I loved Emma. She was so loyal to her family, all she wanted was to keep her parents from having to bail out her brother again. She is curious, careful, and very linear. Damien approaches everything so differently than she that she is constantly off balance around him.

Damian was a little harder to know, and has been even as his brothers were open books. He was the youngest when their mother died, and the scars he carries from their childhood make themselves known differently for this youngest brother. He is full of secrets and schemes that he keeps close to his pocket even as he lets Emma see other sides of himself.

The family drama that peppered this particular plot didn’t bother me in the same way I was by the previous books. It is still there, but maybe because it was a different family, with different issues, it was a fresh start and less of an issue for me.

I have read at least one other book where a character bets a person they are supposed to love (whether romantic or familial) and while the idea makes me a little uncomfortable, this time it set better with me, especially as each character takes the time to at least acknowledge the moral shadiness of the action of winning another person in a bet. But I loved the way Damien treated Emma through the whole ordeal.

This was a great way to wrap up the series, even if I wished Damian was able to open up even further than he id. These three brothers deserve happy endings and struggled to find them as they did everything in their lives. It was nice to see each brother again -- Michael and Zane are always willing to help out their younger brother, and demonstrate their loyalty in the best way possible.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Damien Larson had everything he wanted except for one thing. She fueled his every desire from the moment he saw her and reminded him of the one flawless thing he saw in his tainted world. He struggled to survive and is haunted by his past. She will be the only person he lets into his heart, knitting together the tattered remains of his soul. He is scared to want something more because he never has fel the love Emma is desperate to give him.

It's funny to me or rather appropriately so, that I am in LOVE with Damien Larson. See Cherie Lynn wrote my one and only true book boyfriend, Brian Ross, in Rock Me. There is just something about the way she writes these brooding leading men. Anyway, Raw Heat is the third and final book in the Larson Brother's stories, and I beleve the BEST! Where the other two were good, there is just something different about this one, and I believe that is Emma. She is a breath of fresh air. Rowan was a hard leading lady for me to get past in the first two books. So having a completely new and unknown leading lady worked wonderfully.
The story behind Damien's brooding and reputation has been often talked about through out the series, but nothing definitive. He is darker and harder to read than Michael and Zane. Emma, WOW, I really enjoyed her. SHe was a quiet church mouse, the unnoticed, until she had to deliver bad news to her boss Damien. Little did she knew, she was on his radar. I loved that she was a force when pushed.
The chemistry between Emma and Damien was off the charts. WOW, this is a sexy hot story. This is the book that I wish the rest of the series were. I could have read an entire series that revolved around Emma and Damien alone, that is how much I enjoyed this story.
Also, the fact that Emma's family played a role in this story was intriguing. Her relationship with her brother, in turn her relationship with her parents, played out very well.
I highly recommend this story.

Emma Haskell is a beautiful 25 yr. old woman living in Houston, Texas. She works as an accountant for a nightclub called Players. Her boss is a man named Damien Larson. He also runs an illegal, underground poker room on the top floor of the club. Emma tends to be more of a strait-laced, rule follower, so she tries to just mind her own business, lay low, & just focus on doing her job that she's paid very well for. She also tries to somewhat steer clear of her very gorgeous, tempting boss. Between his black moods & his striking appearance, she finds it hard to look him in the eye. She's too affected when in his presence, & gets all flustered.

Damien Larson is the youngest of the Larson brothers. He had it rough growing up, & his past greatly shaped who he was today. Nobody in his life ever stuck around except for his brothers so he got used to keeping people at a distance. He was a complex person, & known for being cold, ruthless, controlled, & calculating. Since he grew up with nothing, he now lives a life of excess. He's built the life he wanted, & tries to forget where he came from. He never let anyone get too close to him where they could ever have the power to hurt him.

Damien has always been attracted to his innocent, sweet, sexy accountant. He's always wondered what it would be like to have her. One evening when her brother gets in over his head, an opportunity arises for Damien to fulfill his fantasies. He makes an indecent proposal & negotiates to have Emma no strings attached for thirty days.

Emma's brother's gambling has always been a problem for her family. He's really in trouble this time. When her boss makes an offer to forgive his debts in exchange for Emma, she decides she can't say no. She can handle her brothers problem without her parents ever knowing.

Damien & Emma begin spending their time together. Emma is one of the best people he knows. She's kind, & soon he feels like he's drowning in her sweetness. She's shining her light on all his dark places & soon he cherishes her. This man with walls around his heart is totally gone over her. His brothers both found love, but Damien never thought it was in the cards for him. Emma has made him question everything.

Emma began this arrangement ready to do her time, & be done. Now she's thoroughly been seduced, & her need for this man is out of control. She aches for him & craves him more than anything. He's sparked something in her that makes her feel alive. She's confused because she almost feels like he's hers.

I loved this book & this series so much! All these brothers are delicious & have such beautiful hearts. One of the best series I've read in a while. I adore these Larson brothers!

4 1/2 Star! This book grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let you go.

Damien is the youngest Larson brother and he pursued what he was good at ... gambling. Now he owns his own nightclub with illegal gambling upstairs. When Emma (Damien's accountant) spies her brother (Ben) gambling to the point of no return, she is beside herself. Damien makes them a deal ... all Ben's debt will be repaid (plus some cash), if Damien can have one month with Emma to do with whatever he wishes. Damien has wanted her since she stepped into his office. This is his chance to see what she is made of ... and if he can break her.

If Emma doesn't help her brother her elderly parents will sell everything to help him, so she agrees to Damien's deal. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't attracted to Damien and this is her chance to get him out of her system. She can leave her heart out of this deal ... right? She'll be able to resume her normal life at the end of the month ... right?

The flames ... not just sparks ... between Damien and Emma are insane! They have a thirst for each other that just can't be quenched. I highly recommend this HOT steamy story ... you won't regret it!

I am loving the Larson Brothers series by Cherrie Lynn and Raw Heat was no exception. All three Larson brothers are so different, but you cannot help but love them. But I have been waiting to read Damien’s story since the first book.

Damien is the youngest of the Larson brothers and could be very cold and shrewd. He runs a very successful nightclub and the illegal poker room upstairs. As a professional poker player, his poker face is spot on. Reading him is at times near impossible. He is drawn to Emma, but avoids relationships at all costs. But ultimately finds a way to have her.

Emma Haskell is a straight and narrow type of girl. As Damien’s accountant, she always follows the rules, but there is something about her boss that draws her to him. But she also knows she must stay away from him if she is smart. I found Emma to be both feisty and a bit whiny. But in the situation she finds herself in, it was understandable. She had to find a way to protect herself.

Damien is not a good man. He may be sexy and gorgeous, but he is also a dark man that is so captivating, you cannot help to be drawn to him. When Emma’s brother finds himself in trouble, Emma steps in to save him, but the cost may be too high. To save her brother, she agrees to be Damien’s for thirty days.

This book was scorching hot! The chemistry is off the charts between Damien and Emma. Though this book is darker than the previous books, you will be drawn in from the beginning. Both afraid to admit what they are feeling, they keep their guard up, however, find themselves exploring their needs and wants. Damien pushes Emma out of her comfort zone. But can they find a way to each other or push each other away?

Raw Heat was another great read by Cherrie Lynn. I have loved how different each brother was and the women who captured their hearts. Damien and Emma pushed and pulled each other in ways neither expected. I was consumed by their story.

DNF @ 60%

God, it kills me to DNF a Cherrie Lynn book when Rock Me & Leave Me Breathless are yearly re-reads (that I would read more often than yearly if I allowed myself to). Raw Heat felt like a surface-deep only romance without Lynn's usual mature writing. I noticed it a bit in Raw Need (though the first book, Raw Deal , was very much amazing and held the feel of a Lynn novel), but it seems to be in full force in this one. It felt forced -- the characters, the romance, the sexual ministrations between the two -- and there was no real meat to the story or the characters to make me fall for them and escape into them. The story wasn't evoking any emotion from me, and I couldn't keep going. Ugh.

*4.5 stars*

Not only did Raw Heat manage to make me feel legit crazy (more on that in a minute), it turned me into a Damien and Emma fiend. I couldn’t get enough of these two together. I’m warning you now, this couple is HOT—I’m talking scorching, mind-numbing, intense heat—so prepare yourself. It might not be the perfect scenario, but the unlikely couple standing at the end sure is.

There are those books—and they seem to be few and far between—that stir up something wicked in me. I resort to this legit crazy woman—one who knows no boundaries. My thoughts and emotions are entirely consumed and my sole focus is getting back to the pages; meaning, I’m not opposed to reading anywhere at anytime. I have absolutely no shame in my game when a book grabs my attention the way this one did.

It was all in an effort to find out if it would actually happen. Would Damien truly open up and reveal his cards to Emma?

I’ll admit, similar to Zane’s book, Raw Need, the beginning of Damien’s story was a little rough for my tastes. Here’s Emma, a woman that comes off as a buttoned-up accountant, working for Damien at his club, but guilty of harboring a little crush on the guy. Can you blame her though? Damien comes off as cool, confident and always in control, but there's also a darkness there that lends him a bad-boy edge that's hard to resist. Not to mention the penetrating gaze behind those killer baby blues of his. Just try to figure out what he’s actually thinking . . . I dare you. Did I mention, he's a professional poker player?

It’s Emma’s brother, Benjamin, that lands her in an indecent proposal situation . . . with Damien. That’s what I meant about a little rough for my tastes. If you're anything like me, you might be thinking, just another cliché storyline. Well, I'll have you know, I’m more than happy to be eating my words now because in the end, it all worked.

Damien and Emma were like magnets, drawn to one another on an entirely different level. It was actually Emma that surprised me the most. First, because I couldn’t believe she would put herself in that situation for her conniving and selfish brother, but also because she stood up to Damien and challenged him, adding a fun dynamic to their relationship.

Damien managed to keep his poker face on for the majority of the story, but I wasn't buying it. Despite how adamant he was about not catching feelings or how resistant he was to ever having a relationship, I knew there was no way he could be sharing what he was with Emma and not contemplating something deeper. Something more.

Let me just say, that ending . . . his words . . . "awww" inducing. I completely melted.

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a romance/erotica that was this intense, this magnetizing, this steamy, this demanding. I feel like I had no choice in the matter; I devoured this book in less than 24 hours and then circled back and devoured the first book in the series, the one I somehow missed, Raw Deal. That’s the power of Cherrie Lynn’s writing and her characters—always addicting, magnetizing and full of heart.

Emma is an accountant for Damien's club. Damien is a world champion poker player and is ice cold. When she finds that someone is stealing from him, she goes to tell him but he's in his illegal poker game he has set up in the club. She's sees her brother, who has a gambling addiction and she runs out. She finds out her brother is going to be there the next night and she goes. He is losing big time and Damien makes him a deal. If her brother wins, the slate is wiped clean. If Damien wins he gets thirty days with Emma.

Damien doesn't let anyone close to him but his brothers. But Emma is innocent, sweet, and beautiful. She doesn't let him get by with anything. He's wanted her since he first met her but didn't think she could handle his darker side. Little does he know, she is perfect for him. Will he screw it up or will he let some of those walls down and let her in?

This was an awesome book. I read it in one day. Could not put it down. Plenty of kinky, smoking sex. I read the first but not the second book but I'm going to have to read it now. I don't want to give anything away so I'm sorry if I sound like I'm rambling or if none of this makes sense. Betting. A user brother. And a man you can't help but to love and hate.

2 - "It's a very tangled web." Stars.

Cherrie Lynn rounds off the Larson Brothers series with dark and broody, professional gambler Damien Larson’s story.

"There Larson men are a handful."

I am a huge fan of this authors writing, and if I am honest it is the only reason I didn’t actually give up on this book around the 60% mark.

"Don’t hate the player, hate the game…"

Plot-wise you essentially are getting a little Pretty Woman, with a large dash of Indecent Proposal with a side order of FSOG style Kinky Fuckery as well as some major familial drama thrown in for good measure.

Won’t lie I was all-in for the Kinky bit, because the smutty, sexy, dirty goodness in this story took me back to the halcyon days of Ghost & Brian, and if you haven’t met these delicious men I recommend you check out Rock Me & Leave Me Breathless because no one writes sexy like Cherrie when she decides to go wild. And Damien and Emma’s story definitely had the steam in it, but everything else was sadly a total, and utter let down.

He smelled like sin… tasted like heaven…

It’s no secret I have major issues with over the top familial drama, and all three books in this series have had that as part of the story-line to varying degrees, but I have been able to mainly overlook it because I liked the previous characters and the rest of the story that was being told. Not so much with Emma Haskell, this is a woman I would have kicked to the curb and left to wade out of the deep and plentiful pile of shit her douche-bag brother had dropped her in by losing her in a bet to Damien. A bet that means she’s essentially his for a month in lieu of paying her loving brother paying his debts.

"Make me forget all this… and I’ll consider this a month well spent."

Something she agreed to at the time, and then proceeded to bitch, moan and generally give him grief about continually thereafter. I know this is fiction, but if you agree to something, even if you don’t really want to do it, then after a certain amount of bitching about the hand you have been dealt, you need to then suck it up and get on with it. But no, immature and whiny Ms. Haskell decides against this and to act like a total child for a large portion of the book, even though she’s happy to take the free clothes, luxury car, jewelled butt-plug and sexual shenanigans that Damien dishes out, although even that was usually finished off with a side order of snide for the circumstances she is in afterwards.

"Spare me you’re fucking victim mentality… need I remind you that you chose this? You knew the stakes yet you came here anyway, and don’t stand there and pretend it wasn’t because you wanted something from me, too. I didn’t force you, but the mistake I did make was trusting that you were mature enough to handle this…"

On the plus we get to catch up with Damien’s brothers and their women, and I genuinely think the sexy-times in this book are the best of the series, it’s just unfortunate that the rest of the story let this couple down. I still love this authors work in general, I just feel this book had so much more potential, Damien after the glimpses we have had of him in the previous books, had so much more potential than the recycled Christian Grey type persona he was given, again I don’t really have a huge problem with that because I liked him, but with everything else it just compounded my disappointment.

One thing this author does always excel at is strong, dominant, alpha males and every one of the Larson brothers absolutely ticked that box to perfection.

Raw Heat was absolutely amazing!! I loved the chemistry between Emma and Damien and could not get enough of their intense passion. This story had great banter and an engaging storyline that kept me hooked from the get go. It was the sexiest book in the series and the perfect book to end the series.

While Raw Heat is the third book in the Lawson brother series it can be read as a standalone. When bookish and demure Accountant Emma Haskell's gambling addict brother is visiting an illegal poker room in her boss Damien Lawson's nightclub, she is desperate and all out of options to save her family. But when Damien makes her an offer she’d be crazy to accept—she can’t refuse: her brother’s debts will be forgiven but Emma belongs to him for thirty days. What follows is a delightful and decadent story of dark and delicious passion between an angelic bookkeeper and the devil who's had his eye on her. But what happens when Emma brings out a side in Damien he thought didn’t exist. Will the flames of lust scorch them both, or will this beauty tame the beast and give him something to fight for?

I loved that Emma was able to break down Damien's walls and let him be vulnerable after a damaging childhood. It was really touching. In addition, I found the touch of kink/bdsm storyline to be HOT and so sexy. While I did get frustrated with Emma's overall weepines at almost every turn, all in all, this was a fantastic story with smoldering passion and an intense emotional and physical connection! Bravo! 4 stars! Ratula

I would like to thank NetGalley and SMP Swerve for an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.

I had a love/hate relationship with this book. I loved it, but I hated that it was the last one in the series. I didn't want it to end. I fell so hard for all three brothers, but I must say that Damien is my favorite. I highly recommend this book.

This book is so not for me and I can clearly see the appeal to it when I take at other people's reviews. The more I got to know the Hero the less I liked him and I felt as if I was abusing the situation he put the heroine.

It is always a bittersweet moment when you get to the last book in a series, however in the case of the Larson Brothers, I feel that Ms Lynn definitely left the best till last.

I wasn't sure how I really felt about Damien Larson after the first two books. There was just something about him that I wasn't sure about.

Well, I can now throw that right out the window, as Damien is now my favourite of all the Larson men.

There is something about the broken, the ones who don't want to be loved and cared for that draws me in. Yes, at times he was a douche, but at the same time I couldn't help but adore said douche.

Emma is just something else. She is selfless and caring, but also has a set on her, and she stands up to those who treat her badly, whether they are friends or family. Ugh, don't get me started on some of her family.

How they came together is a little bit ridiculous, however that just made me like it more.

I loved seeing more of the other Larson men and their lovely ladies, loved how their lives intertwined.

I really did enjoy the whole Larson Brothers series, and now can't wait to see what Ms Lynn brings us next.

Raw Heat is exactly what the title means...it's raw, hot down-right sexy! You can never get enough of the Larson brothers and this time, it's Damien turn for his story.. Damien Larson owns a successful nightclub, but on the side he runs an illegal poker room. He's scary on the outside, but deep down he's a big softy and to bring that out, only one woman can do that.. His quiet bookkeeper, Emma Haskell.

Emma has problems with her brother. He's a gambler who ends up losing a lot and in order to get him out of debt one last time, she agrees to belong to Damien for thirty-days. And what does that mean--he "owns" her for the next thirty days. The intensity of Damien and Ellen has the both discovering something new about themselves. But is it just lust or more.

Raw Heat is a steamy read that will have you burning up your Kindle with each page!

Great book!! I really liked the plot and the characters in this story. It was very intriguing and kept me entertained. Damien and Emma's relationship was pretty awesome to read about. I really wished I had read the first 2 books in this series because their stories sounded super interesting also.
