Emotional and sexual tension dialed way up, Damien and Emma's story may have been the last of the Larson brothers' but turned out to be my favorite. The youngest brother, gambler Damien was also the darkest and coldest of the brothers, but his walled-off heart was no match for his guileless accountant Emma. I loved that while Damien needed to be in control, he was constantly challenged by Emma's questions and emotions.

After her gambling addict brother gets into trouble, Damien strikes a devil's bargain with Emma to save him: 30 days of Emma to do with whatever Damien wants. Emma is honest at least that she is wildly attracted to Damien and knows that she doesn't have to say yes. Once she does, all bets are off. But instead treating her like collateral, Damien treats Emma like a princess. Despite his protestations that he needs to remain cold and controlled, it is clear that Damien lives to see Emma happy.

That is, out of bed. In bed, Damien and Emma are combustible. I loved that Emma and Damien talk frankly about their kinks and fantasies and that Damien sets out to fulfill Emma's. Unlike the typical Harlequin Presents where the meek heroine agrees to sleep with the dark hero to save her brother-father-child-quaint village, Emma is no pushover for Damien. Damien tells Emma that, as the submissive one, she holds all the power. The final scene showed that this was absolutely true - that Emma held all the power to Damien and to all of him, in and out of bed.

After my disappointment with Zane and Rowan's book Raw Need, I was a bit hesitant about Damien's book. I'm glad to report that the steamy drama and emotions that Cherrie Lynn is know for are all back. Looking forward to more.

**Received ARC from NetGalley for a fair and honest Review**
Raw Heat is book 3 in the Larson Brothers series. Damien beats to the tune of his own drum, and is as successful as his brothers, but in a different way. Emma Haskell works for Damien, when she stays late one night at work she see's her gambling addict brother sitting at a high stakes poker table and loses it. When her brother goes back even after she goes to him, she wants to be there his seeing her while he continues to destroy their family. Damien has always wanted Emma and now with her brother at his tables he has the chance to get what he wants. While keeping things all in their separate compartments.

This book may not be for everyone, there are some themes that some may find disturbing. While this book could be read as a standalone, I think the books are better read in order since there are characters from the previous books that are in the book that you meet again and knowing their backstories makes the story even stronger. One of the things I really like about the Larson Brothers series and this book is the originality. These books have been so different from anything I've read. I enjoyed the writing style of the author, and the characters. Damien is dark, brooding, and alpha male. Emma is light, honest, kind, sweet and caring. If you like hot and steamy, this book will not disappoint you. This book is a combination of indecent proposal meets HEA romance. Why I only gave it 4 stars is the ending. I feel like the ending was rushed and you didn't get closure. There was a epilogue, but it was only partially about Damien and Emma. If the ending would have been different I think I probably would have given this book 5 stars.

I think of the three books in this series, Raw Heat, is my favorite. I kept thinking " says the spider to the fly", when Damien ask or tells Emma to do something. And that pretty much sums up Emma and Damien's wager. Raw Heat, is a hot, Erotic book.

This was a really great read and I enjoyed the storyline and the characters a lot. I absolutely loved Damien and even though he wasn't a very emotional man, he had his ways of showing he cared. I enjoyed Emma's character but there were times where I wanted her to woman up because if she wasn't crying she was having sex. Don't get me wrong the sex scenes were definitely steamy and oh so good but she did a lot of crying. I was glad when she finally woman up when it came to her brother because after what he did and how he treated her like crap he deserved what he got. The ending was wrapped up nicely and I definitely look forward to reading more books from this author.

I was intrigued this one as the little we have seen Damien in the other books he has seemed like a loner, even among his brothers. I have to say that I didn't care for Damien. I hated how he blackmailed Emma into spending time with him and then later how he treated her, like she was just another woman. Even when Emma confronted Damien he didn't seem affected at all.

I have to say that Emma's brother was a big POS. I was glad that she was able to see the deal he made for her with Damien, she needed to see that side of him. I was also glad that at the end she was able to stick to her guns and not help him and even talk her parents into the same.

A departure from the MMA fighting in the previous two novels, Raw Heat has youngest Larson brother Damien "winning" his sexy accountant Emma for a month of pleasure in place of requiring her brother to pay off his gambling debts. Very steamy, but also ridiculous. Fans of the series will be pleased.
