Nope. Sorry. I didn't realise this was a self-help book when I requested it and I clearly just wasn't paying attention. I've wasted your time. This book tries too hard, it takes religious principles and pretends like they're new and unique. This is poor psychology, very male orientated and I don't think terribly helpful. Again, I'm sorry to have wasted all our time.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book. Unfortunately I have been unable to get into it. DNF @ 7%.
This is not only a self-help book to acquire life guidance and direction, it’s a thrilling story with a plot that makes everything around you disappear until you finish the last page.
I LOVED this book! I thought it was so unique that it was one part self-help and one party story. The author did a great job of weaving the two of them together. Seriously, might be one of my faves of the year so far.
It's a quick read. I took notes. it'll take time to digest everything it wants you to know. I think a second too. Ask. Seek. Knock.
Capturing themes from the Bible and relating to life, leadership and spirituality will keep you hungry for more.
The Book of Mistakes: 9 Secrets to Creating a Successful Future by Skip Prichard is so engaging, so helpful, so meaningful that I read it cover to cover in one sitting, furiously scribbling notes the whole time. I only wish I hadn't started it at bedtime!!
Rather than the usual "How-to" self-improvement book, Prichard shares his wisdom through a well-written and interesting parable. Thus the reader not only get these great shards of wisdom, but gets to enjoy a good story as well!
This is a book that can help anyone at any stage of their life. It can (and should be) read again, and again to keep the lessons fresh and active in your life.
Well worth the time, this book gets 5 stars from me.
So thankful to NetGalley, Skip Prichard and Center Street for putting this book in my hands!!
