Hero?! I don't know I want to read from this author again. Sorry

This is my first time reading a book by Angel Payne. This authors writing style was different from what I normally read. However I thought this book was interesting and romantic. Of course there's hot sex.

Emmalina Crist works the night shift at a well known hotel in Los Angeles. Emma is trying to prove she can make it the world. Until she meets Reece Richards.

Reece Richards sexy billionaire trust no one. Once sets his eyes on Emma everything chances within him. Reece has a secret that no one's knows about will he be able to trust Emma with this secret and his heart?

Another great read in the Misadventures series. This one had a sci-fi twist but was not lacking in the steamy sex scenes and hopeless romantic plot. Reese has super hero abilities that were forced on him, but that does not stop him from finding love and a soulmate in Emmaline. The crazy antics in this story made it an enjoyable read and it is a great part of the series.

This book was a great take on the superhero aspect with a twist. I generally don't read this type of novel but since the description perked my interest I decided why not give It a go, I am glad I took the time to read about Reece Richards and Emma Crist. Their attraction to one another is electric and he is shocked on how this woman makes him feel. This is a great read for other lovers of the Misadventures books this one fits in in more ways than one.

I think the misadventures books are going to be one of the best series out this year. Lots and lots to love about this book and I think the same is going to be about all of them. I'm made up that I tried this book and can't wait for more from them. This has such a fantastic story that you feel you are apart of with the characters, draws you right into the book. Chemistry between the characters is hot and you can't help rooting for them as a couple and to get there HEA would recommend to everyone

Misadventures of a Super Hero fits right in with the rest of the series. It's hot and steamy with that touch of action. Reece, man I loved him. I loved seeing the changes from start to end in him. The change is all good. Emmalina is a strong and sweet. She brings out the best sides of Reece. You can't help but want to be drawn into the electrifying chemistry these two have. I wish I could find my own super hero like Reece. This is a my first book by Angel Payne. I loved every minute of it. I couldn't put it down. Such an original read. This makes me want to pick up more. If you're looking for a different read especially in the realm of Sci-Fi/fantasy romance then pick this one up.

Misadventures with a Super Hero is the third book in the "Misadventures series" and while it is part of a series, it can standalone.

Emmalina Crist is a young woman who is a new employee at a Richards Resort Hotel in the reservations department. She is trying to make something of herself by establishing her career and is currently working the night shift to accomplish that.

Reece Richards, is not only Emma's boss at the hotel, but he also is a partying playboy who has been a disappointment to his family. Not to mention he is the man that Emma is attracted to like a moth to a flame the first time she lays eyes on him.

When Emma has to deliver nightly reports to Reece's penthouse, the chemistry and connection just can't be stopped. It's hot, it's lustful and it's unstoppable. While Emma wants to protect herself and her job, there is no doubt she's drawn to this man more than any other before. Will the secret that he is harboring be the end of them before they really get going?

This book took quite a long time for me to get into and I think that is because this isn't the type of book that I would generally go for. It was out of my "comfort zone" and I wanted to give it a shot because of that. The book is good, but it just wasn't something I really enjoyed. I'm looking forward to moving on to the next book in the Misadventures series!

As promised I have read another of the Misadventures Series and have to report it is not in the same context as the last one I read. When I first started reading this book I thought it was like a train wreck. I was not really getting into it at all. I felt it was all over the place,without much of a plot. But I forged on and continued to read in hopes of improvement. As the story continued on it did improve and I was able to understand where the author was going with the story even if I did not like her starting point.

In this book Emma is a new night-time employee for a Richards Resort Hotel. One night during her shift, her and Neeta, the manager are watching the television show a super hero stopping a group of robbers. They are captivated by the hero and his God like state. Then Reece Richards, owner of hotel, comes in for the weekly reports. It is like a magnet walked into the room. Emma can’t look away and neither can Reece. They don’t have the reports ready until midnight when the last of the numbers will be in, so Mr. Richards tells Neeta to be sure and send them to his penthouse suite when they are ready. Emma later takes the reports to Mr Richards and the rest is history…….

To me this book is more of an erotica novel than a romance. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good erotica book that will have you week in the knees. But I thought with it being part of the Misadventures series, it would be more like the other book I read, as in style of writing. This book was very different in writing style, most likely because it is a different author all together. The characters to me were not developed enough to enjoy as much as the last book. I did love the sparks and lightening bolt hot sex. The book mainly focuses on the two main characters, with the others a mere backdrop. I did not find that it had much story line other than hot steamy sex. Which to me takes away from the book. I like erotica books if they also have a great plot to go with it. But hey, if you like erotica porn as a novel, then this book will knock your socks off. With that being said, I personally did not like this book, but I am sure that there are others who will. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a sex filled read to fill your lonely nights. “wink wink”

Another amazing book in the Misadventures series that I couldn't put down. After getting experimented on Reece hasn't been with a woman but that may change when he meets Emmalina. Emmalina can feel their connection a mile away but Reece has a secret that could make her run away from he. Reece soon realizes how different Emmalina is and is determined to never let her go, but when her life is in danger can he really keep her in his life? I love a good super hero read and this was an amazing read and I love Emma & Reece. This was my first book I read from Angel and it won't be the last

Making one of the characters a superhero was a fun twist to the romance and the series.

Emma is a strong character and the author did a great job introducing both Reece and his super powers through her eyes.

The alternating narrative was really well done as it provided a great opportunity to understand Reece's back story and how his powers work without a lot of forced dialogue of him explaining it.

Overall an interesting and fun addition to the series!

If your into Marvel, DC Comics, Superheros and ComicCon, this book is for you. Emmalina works in a hotel and her boss Reece has a secret. She falls for him and him for her but Reece cannot open himself up to Emmalina about his past. When an incident happens and Reece's secret is revealed, life with Emmalina is in Jeopardy of ending. It is funny at times too.

This book was different from Angel Payne's usual work, but it was good. You can feel her passion for this book as you read it. It's science fiction meets romance with a little suspense thrown in for good measure. I enjoyed reading Misadventures of a Superhero!

Misadventures with a Super Hero follows the romance between Emmalina Crist, a young woman working the night shift in the Reservations Department at Hotel Brocade, and Bolt, aka Reece Richards, who just happens to be Emmalina's boss and a partying playboy.

This was my first Angel Payne novel, and she did not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoy superhero stories, and I really enjoyed Payne's take on the genre. Keep in mind: this series is marketed as being "high romance, low plot," but that doesn't mean Payne doesn't delve into the wonders of HOW Reece becomes a super hero, because, SPOILER ALERT, he was not born that way.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys steamy supernatural/superhero books.
