Again, each misadventures book just keeps getting better and better. This one was cute and fun. I enjoyed it a lot. I've come to the conclusion that I must own all of the books in this series after reading five of them. I also love how they are written by different authors because it gives a different voice. This one was so cute it made my insides hurt. Read it. You won't regret it ;)

This book was really fun! This is the 3rd book I have read from the MisAdventures series and Lauren Rowe is a new author for me who didn't disappoint.

A grumpy rockstar meets Abby, a legit 'lady in streets and freak in the sheets'. Abby is a hardworking law student who writes a scandalous blog on the side and has been in love with rockstar Lucas Ford since she was a teen. Abby helps Lucas with his writers block and he helps her accept herself for who she is.

Misadventures on the Night Shift had a little bit of everything. Humor, charactor personal growth, and some hot hot hot hot sex scenes 🔥🔥 Looking forward to reading more in the Misadventures series!

Wow what an amazing story. This is the first book I’ve read from Lauren Rowe. Absolutely loved it. Could not put this book down. Had to see what Lucas would do next. Had to know if Abby would go along with what Lucas wanted. They make for one hot amazing couple. They bring out the best in each other. What an amazing connection they have. A must read.

Lauren Rowe is a newnew-me author so I'm not really familiar with her writing style. (Which I'm going to change right away.) I like the theme of the story. Who doesn't like rockstar romance anyway? The sex scenes were hot. But it all felt like rushed at some point. Misadventures on the Night Shift is a fantasy that comes alive to every girl who secretly or not so secretly wishing for a hot tryst with a rockstar! WOW this is a first time author read and I must say I am now intrigued.
There are so many things to say about the story of Abby and Lucas. Ever have a teenage crush and have the opportunity to fulfill those dreams? .For Abby it's a dream come true, for Lucas it's. life altering. I loved the banter, wittiness and complete honesty that Abby has. Lucas well he's just a smoking hot trash talking rock star.
If you love someone set them free. This book had me laughing and crying. Kudos to you Lauren!!!

***4 ‘Assasin’ Stars***

This book was an unexpected, yet absolutely pleasant surprise. It was all kinds of smexy (dear lord was it panty incinerating smexy), sweet, funny and filled with heart, but the path was took a few twists and turns that I even I couldn’t have thought up and yet, when everything was said and done, it was perfect for Abby and Lucas and was what they needed to go through in order to find their HEA.

I loved Lucas and Abby. Abby is a spitfire. She’s sassy, has a huge heart, is a little spastic and when she gets riled up has a way of blurting out truths that one can’t ignore. Her past isn’t all wine and roses and she’s working hard to keep herself on the straight and narrow and find herself. Lucas is all kinds of rock god smexy goodness, but due to certain circumstances isn’t finding much joy in that status lately. What I loved about Luke was that while he was alpha AF, and decadently wicked, had a golden heart and soul.

Abby and Lucas’ journey was hands down HOT, but intermingled with the searing sexual chemistry was an odd connection of sorts where they are both trying to find themselves again and through a slightly unconventional, but very intriguing situation, they give each other the much needed push in the right direction towards being the people they never knew they could be.

This is my first read by Lauren Rowe and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The little twists in the journey kept me turning the pages, as did the smexyness. The pacing was good and writing engaging, and though there is a part of me that does wish that the 1st person POV had been dual instead of solo, I still enjoyed it a lot and am looking forward to reading more books by the author.

Erotic in nature, but a fun story all in all, emotions do run high and it's characters are rounded, so it tells a good full story.

I liked this better than Misadventures of a City Girl.

I was dying to know about her secret past and it was what I figured.

Her so called friend and coworker really got on my nerves. Abby was way too nice to her! All she did was give her backhand compliments.

I thought the idea that Lucas came up with for Abby to help him write music again was far fetched, but I guess it worked for the book and the ending.

I thought they had really good chemistry together and their time together was pretty steamy. However, there wasn’t really much character depth to me.
All in all, it was steamy and ended in an HEA. If you enjoyed the rest of the series you will like this as well.

OMG, from the moment Lucas Ford came about in this book, I was addicted. Abby was a mouse, a shell of the person she used to be. Going to school for a career she didn't want, just to please her family. While at work on the "night shift" at the hotel, Lucas Ford came in and he changed Abby's life as well as Abby changing Lucas's life, in all aspects. This book had my emotions on a never ending rollercoaster. This book was great from beginning to end.

Misadventures on the Night Shift was well written and hot as sin. I loved the dynamics between Abby and Lucas, there were some highly funny moments and some heart felt moments. This was a great quick read and the sexy times were hotter than hell. I can't wait for more.

An unusual take on an erotic romance. What begins as a typical day for Abby actually becomes a whirlwind of an adventure - especially after she meets her teenage heartthrob, musician Lucas. He treats her abominably and she tells him off, which only serves to shake him up. He becomes intrigued by Abby and asks her to be his muse. After spending the week together, Abby finds herself in love but let’s Lucas go back to his rock and roll life. Though they get a HEA, the end is not what I expected.

This is a steamy read. Both characters have a little something hanging over their heads holding them back from completely freeing themselves. Lucas Ford is a rock star that Abby has loved for years, so when he walked into the hotel she works for... Well, you'll just have to read this one to find out. I'll will tell you that she's not quite the reserved person her friend thinks she is.

This story, in my opinion, is one of the steamier reads in the Misadventures Series. It may have taken me a handful of pages to really get into the read, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. I definitely recommend this read to anyone who loves a dirty romantic read or bad boy rockers.

I was giving the opportunity to read this Sexy-head on Rocking book by Netgalley in return for my honest review. First off this was my first Lauren Rowe read and I absolutely loved it! Second, the main guys name is Lucas Ford and my sons name is Lucas so all through the book and this review I call him Ford(Sorry Lauren, I just had/have to.) In this delicious book Abby a law student/ hotel night shift employee with a mountain of debt is trying to be a good girl. But when a video of her teen heart throb years is shown to her, she has to scratch that good girl imagine a lil bit. But when she comes face to face with him in her hotel how can she resist him. Ford is a singer trying to find his voice in his music and the only way he can do that is to write one more album to get his freedom. When these two collide a spark of pure heat and naughtiness is to follow. Even thought this is not a real rock star the lyrics and music comes alive on the page from Lauren's writing. Every song, scene, and kiss makes you want to be a part of this book. Cant wait to read more of Lauren books and hopeful more adventures.
