Really enjoyed this story, I loved Lucy and Rykr, the author made them relatable and I was nearly immediately invested in their story. The only complaint I have is a good one, I wanted more!

Another FANTASTIC read by Setta Jay! I can't wait to read the next one. I love all her characters and the storylines she comes up with.

I was obsessed with the Guardians (especially Hades) now its 30 years later and I’m about to start obsessing again, over their children. Is that creepy, maybe a little because six months ago little Lucy was on the beach with her brother inside one of her magic bubbles. So, I had to prepare myself mentally, take a deep breath and then we meet Rykr (Hades 3.0) and my concern for little Lucy turned into envy. Although an introductory novella to the new series it did a wonderful job of bridging the gap between the series. Not only are we treated to Lucy and Rykr’s mating but we are also introduced to several of the new generation of Guardians and their personalities. In addition to still allowing us to experience many of my favorite Guardians (Hades), explaining how the world has changed, and revealing a new threat. It’s also hot, sexy, and explicit like only a mating frenzy can be and Ms. Jay can write.

I loved this book, I can't wait to read more about the guardian kids. I wish the book was a little longer I feel like i finished the book to quickly lol.

Jeez I don't know where to start.

This book is crazy.
Honestly I had no idea how this book was going to turn out. But I had an iffy feeling that I wasn't going to be feeling it. At first I wasn't, if I'm honest I was thinking aw jeez this is going to be a struggle to finish. I was very wrong about those feelings.

It is a LOT to take in. I feel like the first few chapters are overloaded with so much information that it sent my head into overdrive. In fact the book is jam packed with hella lots of information that can sometimes seem excessive. But its very necessary, especially for this magnificent world Setta Jay has created. The foundation she has build for what is going to be a rollercoaster series of brilliance is outstanding. There is definitely a lot to take in here however once you settle in an buckle up for the ride, your set to hit the stratosphere of paranormal romance with endless possibilities.

I loved both Lucy and Rykr. Lucy in an impossible position did what she thought best for her future mate at the time and in doing so lead herself through a path of hurt and loss. Rykr too had to make difficult choices in order to keep Lucy safe unbeknownst to her. They both felt the loss of life without eachother but that didn't stop the unbreakable connection between the fated mates.
Their both my favourite type of leads!. A strong feisty independent heroine and a broody dominant smoking alpha hero for sure make an interesting match. Throw in a crazy world, gods and magical creatures and other worldly things definitely make it all the more intriguing.

It took a minute for me to get into this story however once I got into it I felt sucked it to this magical world. I loved the unique storyline line and well detailed plot, the author did not leave anything out and I'm very thankful for it. The characters chemistry is crazy hot and their connection very believable. The pace of the story is perfection and the ending was magical. I cannot wait for what's next in this series.. I'm excited about this author and for sure will be browsing her other books. She has me intrigued, I'm a fan.
