I so want a store like the Book Barn where I live. really liked the app, incorporation, id have used it myself!, and it was nice to see Princess interact with more than just a few family and friends, but love the way the background story continue use to develop. Can't wait for more.
I love stories about book stores and the Book Barn, with its pink armadillo Princess mascot, is among the best. Charli Rae Warren has come back to her Texas hometown to help her father run the Book Barn but she also has a knack for getting involved in (and solving) crimes. When author Lucy Barton arranges to stop at the Book Barn to promote her latest Poet Society book Charli's cousin Jamal decides to invent a smartphone app for a scavenger hunt to run in conjunction with the visit. When deaths start to occur during the scavenger hunt and Jamal is on the hot seat as suspect number one, Charli once again puts on her sleuthing hat to get her cousin out of trouble. This book has unique quirky characters, a great sense of humor and enough twists and turns to keep you guessing and keep your interest all the way through.
