While there wasn't a ton of practical wedding information in here, I LOVED Molly's attitude. I'm pretty low-key, low-maintenance, and utterly uninterested in a "normal" wedding, and this book is a great reminder that there are a million different ways you can go. Would recommend to unconventional brides looking for support and ideas.
I was just recently married and I am not 35, so I wanted something different and inspiring. This was the book that motivated me to do my own thing. It didn't have to be pinterest perfect, but it was Stone Fox Bride. This book is full of gorgeous pictures and inspiration for those of us who are nontraditional. Stone Fox Bride has set a new tone, they've made perfection achievable- because they have made perfection more unique than overdone.
I may not be getting married anytime soon, but I absolutely loved flipping through this book. It's informative, slightly non-traditional, and a book that I will refer to when I do one day walk down the aisle.
Weddings are an out of control industry. When planning mine I was blown away by the cost of anything related to wedding - it automatically goes up a billion times (woof) and by how many details you don’t have a clue about. I loved this book. It’s for the average person. The sweatpants in public person. The laughs and memes person. My people.
Big shout out to Net Galley for the ARC!
