Sorry but I won't be able to read or review this book so long after the publication date.

Bargh's Before You Know It draws you in before you know it. You find yourself reading longer than you intended to learn the next unconscious reason we do what we do. He reviews the large amount of research that has been done in this area in a readable, accessible manner that keeps the reader engaged. Many books of this type lose the reader in unnecessary details of the research literature. He uses a helpful framework of past, present, and future ways in which our unconscious mind impacts upon our daily lives. After reading this book, you will never shop, eat, talk, think, or interact with the world around you the same way.
