For anyone who has ever seen Sarah Millican's stand up material, you might think she's all potty mouth (in the nicest possible way), and expect the book to be similar. What you actually get is a very honest account of a tricky time at school, the struggles of being well known, the joy of having good friends, and a game involving dog poo in the garden (with the best name ever)*. Thoroughly enjoyable, and you can hear Sarah's voice as you read the whole thing.
*Don't worry, you also get stories and observations about bodily fluids and the like. And footnotes. Lots of lovely footnotes.
