I wish this small devotional had been around when I was caring for my mother, an Alzheimer's patient. At the time I had one that was written for women, from the same publisher. The daily offerings contain a relateable scripture piece, reflections and an anecdote that help the reader understand the day's topic, and a scripture for meditation. I find that a daily devotional helped center and strengthen me. I think that this devotional, centering on the often forgotten needs of the caregiver, would make an excellent gift. I would combine it with the ever practical and useful "The 36-Hour Day," to offer food for the spirit and the brain.
