Received in exchange for a honest review.

I have been having a hard time writing this review and not because this novella isn’t wonderful for it is beyond that. The hard time is because I cannot really get my thoughts into words what this book brings out in you. The embodiment of Griffin and Mick are in this book. Who they are, what they have gone through and their relationship is this book.

You see how Griffin feels about Mick but also see what he has gone through to find Mick. How he crawled out of a pretty dark place and did it because of an idea and hope he grasped at. Which when you read Suite 37A you will cry your eyes out. It is raw and emotional. Real and just so amazing. Both Griffin and Mick struggle in that story but Griffin is who we get a glimpse of more.

You see Mick grow up and become more secure. He feels the love of Griffin and the safety that Griffin brings him as well. We watch Mick fly free and soar but also know that Griffin is there for him no matter what and this allows him to spread his wings and fly. He finds his way and finds love as well. Griffin makes him feel safe and loved. We see how he struggles with things but also how he grows and becomes a beautiful angel who is comfortable with himself. Mick went through so much to get to that point and you just root for him. You also root for him and Griffin to make it and become what the other needs and it is obvious that they are especially Griffin. He is so boisterous and fun. Effervescent really is a great way to describe Griffin. Each story shows different sides to Mick and Griffin and lets you explore who they are. We see their love on display and what their relationship goes through each day.

Now this isn’t to say that Tiffany Reisz doesn’t have her saucy naughtiness in here. She does but it is secondary to the show of love, faith and belonging that is seen between Mick and Griffin. It is secondary to the quirky banter we get, the fun times and very serious moments where we see the love and growth of these two amazing characters.

The book begins with the moment every Mick and Griffin fan has waited for and we are kept with baited breath as Mick sorts out his freak out and feelings. Of course Griffin knowing Mick knew this would happen and does what makes Griffin Griffin he understood this and gave Mick space and no pressure. So we get to see Mick work through his thoughts and feelings with Nora. Which was fun and entertaining in and of itself. Anytime Nora comes in the picture expect the unexpected and some real fun times. Mick and Griffin fans are not disappointed in the end for we get the romantic ending we hope for.

This book truly embodies who Mick and Griffin are. Where they came from and what they have been through to be together. Their insecurities, fears, love, tenderness and growth. We see how their relationship grows and becomes a part of them. How they find trust and love with one another and how they are each others support system. It is emotional at times, tender, saucy and true to who Mick and Griffin are. We get entertained and see what love and trust is in a real, sometimes fun and emotional way, that truly has you love this couple and their creator more.

The absolutely perfect way to capture all the extra moments between Griffin and Michael. Thank you so much for putting them all together in one place! Mick will always have a special place as I think he was a catalyst for Nora's growth, forced Griffin to grow up and he became a strength after starting so low.

We all remember and LOVE Michael and Griffin. Two of the most adorable supporting characters in our beloved Original Sinners series.
This book is a collection of 7 short stories about those two boys and their lives & relationship. The first (longer) story is a new one and the following six have been published before - on Tiffany's site - for free.
In this first story, Griffin proposed to his Michael and then went away on business for a few days, to give Michael time to think about things. Michael doesn't really know what to do and what to think, so he leaves NY for New Orleans, to spend some quality time with Nora.
Maybe she can whip some inspiration into him! ☺

That was adorable!

I just love this series! I could read a new 'Nora & her gang' book every month for the rest of eternity!
And this book was just as great as all the others!

Griffin and Michael are so adorable and they're so perfect for each other. But of course Michael is not sure about this marriage thing. Why do people get married? Nora's not married!
He's so young and Michael might get sick of him hanging around all the time once he's done with college ....
But of course he finds inspiration and his answer in New Orleans!!
And once the proposal thingy is done, we go back in time with those other stories - to very important & exciting & erotic & moving moments in our darlings life.

MICHAEL'S WINGS was an amazing collection of stories! Erotic, funny, moving, adorable! PERFECT BOOK! An absolute Must-Read for all fans of the Original Sinners series! Especially those who haven't read those free stories as soon as Tiffany posted them on her page!☺

P.S. If you haven't read the amazing Original Sinners Series yet - DO IT NOW! In the right order!

Michael and Griffin are my favorite couple from the Original sinners series, and The Angel my favorite book. So when I saw they were getting their own collection of stories I jumped on that so fast! This was a great glimpse back into this world, a new original stories and if I am correct 5 previously published short stories about this couple all in one volume. If these men were real, I would love to be the F in their MFM sandwich!

I adore them, thank you for giving us more of them Tiffany!

If you are a fan of the Original Sinners series, then this is a must read for you. In this installment we get a bunch of short stories that revolve around Griffin and Michael. And oh, how I have missed them. We also get Nora, Soren, and Kingsley making appearances along the way. Lot's of hot sex for the featured couple and a lot of "relationship" problems to work out. Loved it!!!

When I started reading the original sinners series I found my favorite couple to be Michael and Griffin. I looked forward to the free stories that were snippets of their life on Tiffany Reisz's website. Michael's Wings are those stories bundled together with one new story about how the couple became engaged. I LOVED THIS NEW STORY. It was sweet to see how their relationship has grown since we originally saw this couple in Angel. I look forward to seeing them evolve in the years to come.

The Gauze - self harm, suicide attempt mention. Michael dealing with both, flashbacks to the sucide
The Theory of the Moment - don't think any? Let me know if wrong, on any of these.
The Couch -D/s, don't think anything else?
A Better Distraction - D/s, also don't think any.
Any questions, feel free to just ask me!)

Review:
I'm definitely bias towards this series just on the fact that I love these characters so much. Just all of them, I don't know if I could pick a favorite ever.

I'm not entirely sure which of these stories were published elsewhere before being here, but the only one I'd read was the Christmas story - which I love, and reread in this anyone because so good. Anyway, the title story was for sure new and it's the first, which is where we're going to start.

Michael's Wings - first off, small note, I thought it was a little weird that this was first? I understand it's the title story and such, but I feel like it should of been in chronological order. It wasn't that confusing for me when I was putting it down between stories, but if I kept going it was a little jarring to skip around like that.

However, saying that, this story was amazing. We got to see Michael and Nora interact more, which is always good. And, of course, Michael and Griffin. I'm was not going to spoil anything at all, but I've decided against that. So if you don't want to be spoiled for a major plot point in the last two books, jump ship now (just know I love this collection and would highly recommend it, and the entire series).

So in this we get to see how Griff proposed, which I was always a tad curious about because... well, he's Griff, honestly. And so I was so proud he did it in a quiet way because he knew Mick wouldn't want it any other way? It gave me a lot of feelings, and the answer scene... I've missed these boys.

Griffin in Wonderland. A super interesting one, that I've never read before but might of been floating around, I'm not sure. Seeing Griff six years before we officially meet him was super interesting to me. I adore him and to see how King reached out to him... I love them all so much.

The Gauze. This one was more intense then I expected? Like I said above, trigger warnings for self harm, suicide mention, attempt flashbacks. D/s, also. It's a good short story, something we don't get to see about Michael dealing with gauze from tattoos (which isn't a thing but I'm letting it go), and talking to Griffin about his attempt. Really touching - also great sex scene.

The Theory of the Moment. Super cute dinner with Griffin and Michael's mom? I don't know what it was about this, but it was just so cute. I think it's just because I love seeing platonic relationships and we really don't get to see them enough. And Michael's mom takes this whole thing like a champ, honestly.

The Couch. Their first fight story, so cute. And then making up on the new couch. They're such dorks, I love it so much.

A Better Distraction. For some reason this is the one I remember least? But I do feel like I've read it before. Basically just Griff trying to help with Michael's homework, totally innocent, nothing D/s here at all (we need a sarcasm font).

Christmas in Suite 37A. I've read this at least four times now. It's so sweet and cute, and I love Griff and Nora's interactions - and also the snippet we get of Griff and Soren interacting. And, of course, Griff and Michael. Of course they'd had problems in their relationships, neither had ever done this and Michael was still so young. I adore this story. Especially the end and Griffin freaking out,. It's also very sweet, though, and tugs on the heart strings a little.

I think you can tell by now that I loved this collection. I was so excited when it was announced, and am even more excited when the young Kingsley story finally comes out next year. Alright, if I had to pick a favorite character, it might be King, but don't tell any of the others, alright?

If you haven't read this series - first of all, spoiling yourself, though I do it to myself sometimes, too. But I do highly recommend the series, just trigger warnings for everything through out. Book two has bloodplay, but I love these characters, and I really like the writing, as well.

Happy Reading! Let me know if you're planning to pick this one up, or let me know what you thought.

For fans of the Original Sinners series, this is a great companion to the books. A collection of short stories and a novella that follows the relationship between Griffin and Michael whose story began in Tiffany Reisz's The Angel.
To get the most out of the collection, I'd highly recommend reading the full Original Sinners series, or at the very least The Angel. Even if you don't pick up this collection, I recommend you read those books anyway!
The brand new titular novella, Michael's Wings, is like a backstage pass to events that unfold in the full length novels in the series. Together with the short stories, the entire collection will remind you why you fell in love with these characters in the first place, and will make you want to revisit their world all over again.

Short, sweet and hopelessly romantic.

I absolutely adore Griffin and Michael's relationship and to get to spend a longer amount of time with them courtesy of Michael's Wings was a dream come true.

Although Michael's Wings is a short story, you also get to read another six instalments involving Michael and Griffin all of which are also 5 Star reads, IMHO:

- A Better Distraction
- Christmas in Suite 37A
- The Couch
- Gauze
- Griffin in Wonderland
- The Theory of the Moment

Griffin and Michael's relationship has had its ups and downs, quite literally, and you can’t help but feel every bump in the road that they experience together, and apart. As always, Nora is always on hand to support both Michael and Griffin but with such a soft spot for her young protege, I feel Michael will always hold a special place in her heart, and vice versa.

Taking place before The Virgin, Michael's Wings tells the story following Griffin’s proposal of marriage to his young sub. Now living in NOLA with Soren, Kingsley et al, Nora is happily spending her days with Soren or Nico. When Michael turns up and announces that Griffin has proposed, Nora is beyond excited but quickly realises that Michael is struggling to come to terms with the idea of marriage. Together though, they work through Michael's fears via the power of kink and soon Michael is bruised but ready to face Griffin once again.

I loved the way Michael gave Griffin his answer, it was perfect for their relationship and expressed Michael's emotions perfectly. Despite the differences in their personalities and age, their relationship is almost unparalleled. Griffin’s playful but insecure demeanour versus Michael’s youthful innocence is what makes their connection so enchanting and to readers, simply sublime.

5* Sexy Stars

I was so happy to be able to dive into this collection of short stories about Griffin and Michael. The chemistry between the two of them is insanely hot! It was refreshing to also get some insight into their early relationship and how they have evolved.

It was wonderful to have glimpses in these novellas of the other “sinners”, Mistress Nora and Soren. Tiffany is a master storyteller and so many memories were brought back from the other books during this read. I miss these wonderful characters and always look forward to catching up with them.

Thanks to NetGalley and 8th Circle Press for allowing me to read this e-book for an honest opinion.

This short story collection was everything. Tiffany Reisz is one of the most underrated authors writing today. Her characters are all so unique and absolutely exquisite. I love Michael and Griffin and their relationship is so hot. Who I am I kidding, I love all the sinners and I hope she never gets tired of writing stories for these amazing characters. Five stars as always for the queen of erotica!

Being a devoted follower of Tiffany Reisz, many of these short stories are ones I read on her website. I love that these are grouped as a tribute to Michael. He always was a favorite character of mine in the series. The tragedy and redemption tale that ends in unconditional love. What's not to love? Griffin is such a dynamic, colorful character and I loved getting a little more from him. Nora makes a few appearances, dispenses some amazing wit, scathing humor and insightful wisdom. I would have wished for a little extra Soren, but the Christmas mass in the last story is pretty classic.

For any fan of the Original Sinners series this is a must read. Michael and Griffin. Nothing else needs to be said. Even if you have read some of the previously available stories, this book is worth the cost to have them all together. The new story is nice glimpse into the growth of this relationship and how they are both growing individually in it. Toss 2 hot, smart, polar opposite guys with troubled pasts. Add a little Nora and lots of kinky, bi, D/s spice and you have a prefect fall reading treat. We can all hope that Tiffany Reisz never bores of telling us the stories of the unholy trinity and the people around them.

Let me write some words about this story before I get fired from NetGalley.

"Michael's Wings" is a collection of previously released short stories with "Michael's Wings" being the only new one, all of which involve Michael and/or Griffin. It tells the story of Griffin's proposal to Michael and his reaction.

It's classic Reisz in that it's humorous and poignant. I've you've read The Original Sinners series then you know how these characters get under your skin, how she's crafted each of them with devoted care. Michael and Griffin have always held a special place in my heart, so I never tire of them.

"...If there's even the tiniest way of making you more mine, one more way of owning you, one more way of keeping you tied to me, I want to do it, and I want to do it yesterday. I know that sounds possessive, but that's kind of our thing, right? But you're smart, Mick. You know you own me as much or more than I own you. And that's exactly how I want it."

It's Reisz' writing that brings me back time and again. I honestly don't know how she packs such an emotional punch into everything she writes. Maybe it's just me. Maybe it's because I'm so attached to these characters. I really don't know but frankly I wish she'd stop with making me have feelings. "Michael's Wings" was no exception. I especially liked how the inherent quagmire of marriage and bisexuality was handled.

Michael naturally turns to Nora who naturally turns to kink as a way of helping Michael unwind. I mean really, is there a better stress reliever than a good beating? And maybe some wax play? It does a body good!

Nora is his touchstone in many ways and as much as he loves Griffin and has no intention of ever leaving him, the implications of them marrying give him pause for a multitude of reasons. So who better to give him advise about marriage than the woman who wants never to get married? Trust me, it makes sense and we all know how it turns out.

He'd remember this night on his last day on earth. Then Michael closed his eyes and surrendered his body to Griffin. There was no reason to surrender his heart to Griffin. He'd already done that long, long ago.

The gift Michael gives Griffen was just so amazingly perfect as was the whole scene when they come back together. Quintessential Reisz right to the end.

These stories are just peeks into the Sinners lives between the novels and without the context of the novels the stories won't resonate.

Obviously it's a must read for Sinners fans, but if you've not read the series I would urge anyone to give them a go. Be forewarned though, your face could leak and there's a strong possibility of becoming obsessed.
