This book is AMAZING!!! Truly SO beautifully written that I'm SPEECHLESS!! Dylan and Paige's story is so much more than your usual love story. It teaches us about the power of forgiving and shows us not to judge a book by it's cover. You ABSOLUTELY MUST READ THIS BOOK!! If you're a fan of Ms. Chase' s work you know already how incredibly effortless she makes the beautiful dialogue and interaction between the characters look but she outshines herself in THIS BOOK!! Breathtakingly Beautiful! My new favorite BOOK by Ms. Chase and I've READ them ALL!! I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review and I also purchased the BOOK it's that good!!

One More Promise by Samantha Chase gives us Paige who needs to stand up for herself, take some out of the norm risks and learn to accept herself even if others don’t. Paired with her in this wonderful story is Dylan, who needs to learn to rein his spiraling down lifestyle, forgive himself for the past mistakes and to conquer his demons once and for all.
Putting these two together in the middle of the Literacy Now Campaign is brilliant. The story is well structured with a sweet ending. I found that the two characters are not so much different. However, the way that they handled their struggles is vastly different, making this an interesting character study. Each one in their own way is very likable. It is a pleasant afternoon read that provides the right amount of escapism.

On the surface, bad boy, fresh-from-rehab rocker Dylan can’t possibly have anything in common with straight-laced, put-upon ad executive Paige Walters. That’s exactly what Paige thinks when meets him and sees hs tattooed arms. He’s been forced upon her by her dad and sister...to work on a literacy project she envision an entirely different way. Dylan thinks she’s a bit uptight...and rightly so...but is attracted and intrigued by her.
As their story progresses, we see that they do actually have quite a bit in common, and that first impressions are very often not accurate. Dylan’s friendship and support help Paige begin to stand up for herself...thankfully, because I wanted to shake her sometimes! And Paige’s acceptance of Dylan’s past and struggles to make amends is a great boost to his continued recovery.
Great storytelling is what I expect from Samantha Chase and I was not disappointed with One More Promise! Dylan and Paige are two extremely likable characters who clicked for me as a reader from page one. I read this book in one sitting...I could not put it down. Fantastic secondary characters, both those you love and those you want to clock upside the head, add another interesting layer to an already fabulous story. In fact, dare I hope that Daisy gets her story told...with an interesting drummer, perhaps!?
One other thought to share. For those of you who may not be enameled with the whole “rock star” hero, do not write this book off! Yes, Dylan is a rock star, but the story doesn’t deal with his time on the road, filled with groupies, parties, alcohol and sex. This is about his recovery, and rediscovery, of the man he is now and wants to continue to be. I loved his journey with Paige. I think you will too!

WOW, just WOW!! One of my favorite genre of romance is “Rockstar” romance and One More Promise certainly fits that bill. BUT, IT IS SO MUCH MORE!!!
There is so much I can say I loved about this phenomenal book. The lead characters, Paige and Dylan, oh my, I love these two. Two lost souls, each with “familial” problems, each trying to solve the problems in their own way. Dylan became the “Bad Boy” long before he became the big “Rockstar” trying to get his parents attention. Unfortunately, he almost ruined himself trying to do it. Paige, she goes to the other extreme, she is practically making herself sick, bending herself backward, trying to impress her father. I could really go into a dislike even hate tangent regarding Paige’s family. I would really like to bi… slap Paige’s sister for the way she treats Paige. Sorry folks, I am not going to give ANYthing away. You NEED to read this wonderful book to see what I am talking about.
I REALLY loved the way that Paige went into meeting Mr. “Bad Boy, Rockstar” Dylan Anders with so, so many preconceptions. Then Paige met Dylan meet and talk get to know each other and, BAM, ALL those preconceptions were blown away. During these conversations, Dylan realizes that Paige’s familial situation IS worse than his was, and he and Paige bond even closer.
I absolutely LOVE Samantha Chase’s phenomenal writing skills. Ms. Chase has become one of my all time favorite authors over the last couple of years since discovering her. The way she develops the story line and the characters is phenomenal. I know when I pick up one of her books that she will take me into someone’s life and not let me out until I read the very last word. Her books are just that great!
I was gifted with a copy of this wonderful book for my reading pleasure and it most definitely did that, in spades and I just wanted to tell you why.
I helped you make the decision to purchase this wonderful book. Now, what are you waiting for, go hit that one-click button!!!
Thank you for reading my review.

A year ago I was reviewing my very first Samantha Chase book and it book 1 in this series, One More Kiss. I fell in love with her writing then and continue to love her words today!
Okay, so Dylan has quite the sensational past. Every cliché of a rocker gone bad, Dylan resembles. But that was then and this is now. He knows who he was and accepts it but he also wants to do better. He wants to be better. Cue the literacy program run by Paige.
Paige and Dylan don’t get off to a smooth start. She makes rash judgments about him that really are not surprising. I mean he does have a reputation, so Dylan is prepared for all of it. He’s also not what she was looking for the literacy program. She wanted authors. But of course, the boss wants him so ….. let games begin :) or should I say sparks :)
Without giving too many details away, I have to say that I very much enjoyed both Dylan’s and Paige’s growths in this book. Individually and as a romantic couple. They were a fantastic couple together and really good humans apart. Both of them have had their own versions of rocky paths to travel and it warmed my heart as much as it tore it up.
This was another high ranking **happy sigh** book that shouldn't be missed by this author. It will make you feel good no matter what's going on in your life :)

Such a great story! Dylan has a reputation as a bad boy rocker. Paige is a total good girl, putting everyone's needs before her own. They shouldn't click but they totally do! Forced to work together, their friendship and their attraction grows. I loved both of these characters! Dylan was swoony and I loved how protective he was of Paige. And I loved watching Paige grow and learn to stand up for herself. Excellent story!

We are moving from the Shaugnessy family to the bandmates in Shaughnessy, This is Dylans book he is trying to move on from his past. He decides to volunteer on a literacy campaign.
Paige is supposed to be heading the literacy campaign, however her family is railroading her.
When a tragedy occurs though it is her family who makes the decisions that affect where her life goes and it takes Dylans friends to change it.
I loved this book it teaches you that your family is not always the people who have your back. Love does prevail.
** I received this book from NetGalley and this is my honest opinion **

Samantha Chase has done it again with One More Promise! I absolutely loved Dylan and Paige’s story. I love how they both has issues they needed to work on. They both needed to learn they did deserve to be happy and loved, that they were both worthy of it.
Dylan, having hit his rock-bottom, is trying to prove he is more than his past mistakes. That he isn’t that man anymore. But, knowing his past, he doesn’t feel he is worthy of someone like Paige. That he’s not good enough for her.
Paige is brilliant at her job, knows the ins and outs of PR, yet she is a pushover when it comes to letting her sister and father take control of her clients and projects. She does all the work, makes sure everything is perfect, and never gets the credit for any of it. She lets them manipulate her and it makes her feel small and inadequate. That’s why when she meets Dylan she feels there is no way this sexy rock star could ever be interested in a girl like her.
I loved how they both grew from each other. The complimented each other, pushed each other to be more. To demand more, to want more, to BE more.
Samantha Chase knows romance and knows it well. I know I am always going to get a heart-warming, heart-felt romance filled with characters I will love and relate to. Love stories I will get swept up in and left with a happy heart and a smile on my face.

Dylan wants to have a successful recovery and is trying very hard. His former lifestyle, family, and acquaintances do not make his life any easier and he must find a way through it all. Paige has no personal life and her family makes her professional life beyond difficult. I don't know how she continues to put up with their behavior. They both have mush to learn about themselves and to take charge of their lives. A great pair. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This is one of those stories that I always say give you the warm and fuzzies! Form the moment I started this book I didn't want to put it down, I was truly invested in Paige and Dylan. My heart was in my throat every time Paige had to deal with a member of her family. I think Paige was perfect for Dylan, she was never given a chance to succeed and he is now not given an chance to prove himself. For as much as they have lead very different lives, they both want to prove many people wrong. Now I have to go read book 1, and wait not very patiently for book 3. #MSBB

I give this book 5 stars. The storyline between Dylan and Paige was well written and a must read book. Dylan is a rock star and Paige works for her family's PR firm. Samantha Chase has written a great story that you can reread and still love it.I whole heartedly recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I think this is my favorite Samantha Chase book to date. I loved the development of the friendship and then romance between Dylan and Paige. This book made me laugh. I also enjoyed reading about Paige finally standing up for herself. This is the perfect feel-good romance for Valentine's day.

Dylan is the bass player with the rock bank Shaugnessy. He has just completed rehab and is looking to start his community service for an accident that occurred while he was driving drunk. He is looking forward to helping out the Literacy Now campaign as that is something that he had personal experience with when he was younger.
Paige works for her father’s PR firm and she wants to prove that she has the job based on her skills not on her name. She created the literacy campaign but now her sister has revamped it which is nothing new as her family has never appreciated her contributions and always find a way to ensure that they get the credit rather than her.
Paige and Dylan couldn’t be more different as he has always been the rebel and she always does what others expect of her however they are unable to deny their attraction to each other however their road to their happy ever after is not without its obstacles.
This is a wonderful story of new beginnings and not letting the opinions of others shape who you are. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Samantha Chase has created the perfect friends- to -lovers romance for fallen rock star Dylan Anders and super-efficient public relations executive, Paige Walters. At first glance—Dylan and Paige seem like an unlikely couple. He’s a jeans and t-shirt guy and Paige is a sweater, scarf and skirt person. Maybe they have more in common than they think?
Paige works at her father’s PR firm in Los Angeles and as a manager she can choose projects that interest her. Paige loves to read and wants to be a part of the Literacy Now project. She envisions famous authors meeting children and encouraging them to read. Paige can’t believe that her sister Ariel has invited celebrities, not authors to the program and that her father approves of the changes!
Shaughnessy guitarist Dylan Anders has completed his required 90-day stay in rehab after a DUI. Rehab has had a positive impact on Dylan; he’s decided accept responsibility for his behavior. Dylan understand he needs to make some serious lifestyle changes – he wants to be a better man. Participating in the Literacy Now campaign enables him to complete his required community service, help others who struggle with reading and obtain some positive press.
Loved that Paige had no clue that Dylan was a famous musician. Her first impression of the scruffy, tattooed bass player isn’t positive. She is sure that the only reason Dylan is joining the project is to complete his three- month community service requirement. Paige is floored when she learns that Dylan understands what she is trying to accomplish with Literacy Now and that Dylan is an avid reader. Loved that Dylan did not judge Paige and he took the time to listen to her. As Dylan and Paige’s relationship evolved, it was apparent through Dylan’s actions that he was committed to be a better man. In my opinion, this compelling character choice moved this book from a good to an excellent read.
The secondary characters add so much color to the novel. Samantha Chase’s depiction of Ariel is spot on. The author’s description of the sister’s rivalry and their back and forth banter gave the reader insight as to Paige’s family and work environment. Loved Daisy—Paige’s loyal assistant. She adds a lot of humor to the story. Loved that Dylan and Paige connected with the Shaughnessy band members and that Paige saw Dylan’s devotion to his music.
I enjoyed that the romance between the couple developed slowly—at first Paige and Dylan resisted their attraction to each other. Both characters struggled with their own insecurities which made their journey towards happiness relatable to me. Loved the superbly written conclusion to One More Promise. There are several compelling plot twists and a few surprises in this emotional story which is full of drama, heartbreak, forgiveness and most of all—love.
One More Promise has it all the feels--captivating characters, family drama and a heartwarming romance! And I guarantee that you will fall in love with former bad boy rock star Dylan and the woman who inspires his desire to change.

One More Promise is the second book in the Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run series. Dylan is known as the bad boy of the group, so when he gets a DUI and lands in rehab, everyone hopes this will help. Paige had the groundwork done and has the perfect campaign worked out. Now she just needs to have everything go as planned, and she will finally be able to prove to everyone at the PR firm she works for that she has what it takes. But then her sister changes everything, and she is forced to babysit Dylan. Of course the sparks fly, whether Paige wants that or not. What will come of this forced pairing? I really enjoyed this story. This is one I highly recommend.

I just love this book and this series .
I got hooked from the beginning and I love the main characters.
I do highly recommend

Finding your person
Let me start this review stating I’m a huge fan of Samantha Chase and her ability to write a love story. Not only does her story telling grow with each book but I love her characters. The only thing I’d like to see is some steamier love scenes but for me that’s a person preference. So I know I can’t write a better description than the author so I added to my review.
Authors Blurb:
Dylan Anders is making amends
...to his family
...to the public
...to the woman who just walked into his life
Paige Walters must learn to forgive
...her busy father
...her bossy sister
...and the wonderful man she horribly misjudged
Ambitious Paige Walters is ecstatic when she's hired to recruit musicians for a literacy campaign—it's her chance to prove she's got the chops to make it in the family business. When Dylan steps in, she immediately dislikes him and vows not to let the fallen idol screw it up. But as the work brings Paige and Dylan closer together, their attraction grows...and so do their challenges...
Soooo the main thing I’ll tell you is this book has it all and it doesn’t have a love at first sight storyline which in my opinion is so much more believable.
I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.
Thanks you Netgally for letting me read and review.

5 Seeing the Inner Beauty Stars
I love Paige and Dylan and their story so much. Given the lane they both travel in, you'd think they'd never meet. But life has a way of putting people in the right place at the right time. Fresh of rehab and looking for a project to keep him busy, court mandated of course, Dylan is going to the frontman for Paige's Literary Now campaign.
This is a woman that is beautiful and quirky and has a huge heart and the fact that she really doesn't know who Dylan is keeps their relationship as real as it can get. Seeing Dylan through Paige's eyes made me love him that much more. This man has a huge heart actually and now that he's living life on the clean side, more than just Paige will get to know the "real" Dylan.
This book is beautifully written. There was no point in this book that I wasn't engaged and I wanted to keep reading it so I could find out what happens in the next scene. I especially appreciated that their love really was a slow-burn. Their growing closeness gave me butterflies in my tummy.
Ms. Chase writes a story that moves with fluidity and grace. The characters are so well developed and given such detail that I could actually picture them in my head. As the story moves along I was rooting for our H/h to get their happily ever after no matter what the outside influences say....her father and sister being the biggest offenders!
I can't wait for the next book in this series!

I love this series by Samantha chase books. This is an amazing book. The story is about Dylan Anders, who is making amends to his family, the public and to the woman who just came into his life. Paige Walters needs learn how to forgive, her dad, her sister and the man in her life. Paige is ecstatic when she is hired t be a musician recruiter for the literacy campaign. It is her chance to dhow her family that she has it to be in the family business. But Dylan walks into her life and than comes the challenges. I really enjoyed Paige in the book.

3.75 stars--ONE MORE PROMISE is the second instalment in Samantha Chase’s contemporary, adult BAND ON THE RUN romance series focusing on the rock band Shaughnessy. This is bass guitarist Dylan Anders, and PR person Paige Walters’ story line. ONE MORE PROMISE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. BAND ON THE RUN is a spin-off from the author’s SHAUGHNESSY BROTHERS series.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Dylan and Paige) ONE MORE PROMISE follows Dylan Anders in the months after his release from rehab following a drunk driving accident where our hero was at the wheel of the car. With community service on the horizon Dylan opts to investigate the literacy campaign promotion offered by the PRW Agency. Enter Paige Walters, the woman in charge of the agency’s campaign, and the woman with whom Dylan will fall in love. What ensues is the slow building relationship between Dylan and Paige, and the fall-out when Dylan’s past refuses to let go of the present.
Paige Walters is a stickler for order; a no-nonsense woman who works for her father but always finds herself on the outside looking in as her older sister continues to enjoy the accolades of being daddy’s favourite, drawing blood in a game of one-upmanship and personal attention. As the literacy campaign runs into high gear, Paige Walters finds herself pushed to the side as her sister enjoys the benefits of our heroine’s hard work. Paige’s low self-esteem and inability to demand her due will be the downfall of a woman when disaster strikes at the most inappropriate time.
Dylan Anders knows that he has three months of community service working with the PRW Agency and the literacy campaign but falling into the cyclone that is Paige Walters was something Dylan had never imagined. Trying to keep his distance was virtually impossible, and when the PR agency demanded that Paige and Dylan play the role of a lifetime, meant Paige’s pull would become stronger than ever.
The relationship between Paige and Dylan begins as a business arrangement that will soon take on a life of its own when the paparazzi gets wind of our hero’s potential downfall. Their initial meeting leads to many acrimonious confrontations caused by our heroine’s inability to bend her own rules. Pretending to be in a relationship finds our couple growing closer together, a relationship that will soon grow into something more. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied and fade to black.
We are introduced to Paige’s controlling father Robert Walters, and conniving sister Ariel Blake; Paige’s assistant Daisy, as well as the reintroduction of Dylan’s band mates Riley and Savannah (This is Our Song: The Shaughnessy Brothers 4), Matt and Vivienne (One More Kiss; Band on the Run #1), drummer Julian, and Dylan’s agent Mick.
ONE MORE PROMISE is a story of family and friendship; recovery and forgiveness; acceptance, romance and love; of the bad boy falling in love with the good girl, and the good girl wanting what she could never have. Our heroine’s attitude early on was a little disconcerting but we soon discover that she has spent her life in the shadows of her older sister-a woman who continues to destroy our heroine’s self-esteem and sense of self-worth. The premise is both heart warming and heart breaking; the romance is captivating and sensual; the characters are realistic and inspiring. ONE MORE PROMISE is a sweet and engaging tale of one woman finally coming into her own.
