Gage is a SEXY read. The characters were really well written & the story was strong & very entertaining.

This was the sixth book in the American Extreme Bull Riders Tour series & they have all been fantastic. They can be read as stand alone stories. Sierra & Gage were a hot & sassy couple & their love story was a blast to read.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This story was just ok to me, Gage spent so much time trying to figure out how he felt about bull riding and his father in his head it got a bit irritating. Then Sierra spent most of the story being his emotional punching bag and putting up with his mood swing I wish she had made him work for it a bit harder.

A story of familial love and romantic love, "Gage" by Katherine Garbera follows bull rider Gage Powell and denim heiress Sierra Montez. With both of them hell bent on proving to their fathers that they are no longer kids, it seems that whatever they feel for each other have been placed in the back burner.

Yet in between all the family drama and the dangers of bull riding, their attraction for each other cannot be denied. The question is, will they listen to their hearts or their heads?

A fast and easy read, Gage is a feel good book that gives you a sigh of contentment when you reach the final page.

Gage is Rated M for Mature due to sexual content.

The feelings and angst of both characters are very understandable but the way they came and the reactions they brought did not convince me.
Or is it that they both are still young and a little bit foolish ?

As the final story of the American Extreme Bull Riders Tour brings this season to a close I have to admit that I’m going to miss these hot, stubborn and brave cowboys, and the background people who let them do their jobs safely. We’ll get to see who takes home that coveted final prize, and meet up with some old friends along the way.

Gage is driven to win. As the “oldest rookie” he’s facing some tough challenges, but none can match the ones he’s already faced. With his eye on that final prize he hadn’t figured on meeting that special lady who could change his life. Sure, he’d watched with amusement as one by one his friends and competitors fell to the happy ending with their woman, but he didn’t figure that was his future… right up until he looked into her eyes.

Sierra knows Gage’s background for she was there that fateful day that should have been his entry into this world shared by his brother… only to lose Marty in the ring. She wasn’t really surprised to see him return after so many years, but she was impressed that he’d come so far in his first season. She knew the reputation of the riders and had no interest in being a buckle bunny, that was her sister’s game. But there was more to this man than meets the eye and after one blow off steam night Sierra is facing a challenge of her own. And his name is Gage.

At times Gage is an emotional roller coaster. Both Gage and Sierra have family issues that they have to deal with, get over and past in order to find a future together. Gage is a driven man, and he will push Sierra away as often as he needs to pull her in close. The phrase “rocky romance” defines these two people. In truth, they each have a lot of personal history with their families to deal with, much of it heartbreaking. At some point they have to make the choice to live for themselves and let the family chips fall where they may. I liked Gage and Sierra, they did have a lot of angst in their romance, but they also had a lot of heart as well. Love isn’t always easy, but it’s worth every single risk.

I’ve learned a lot from this series, met some amazing characters and gained a new heartfelt respect for the real life people who put their lives ion the line sitting on the back of an angry bull for that 8 second ride. I’m going to miss this series, and hope we get to follow along on anther tour in the future.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

I usually like Katherine Garbera's stories, but this one was mediocre for me. It felt as if she wasn't as invested in developing her characters, their growth or even the sexy times in this one. Admittedly, this is 8th in a series and I've never tried to read any of the previous ones. I'm sure all the books of this series are meant to read as a stand-alone, but by #8, it may be difficult to maintain the magic and success of its earlier siblings. Possibly this series has had its last rodeo and needs to be put out to pasture. I wish I knew how to quit Garbera or Tule Publishing via NetGalley, but I keep expecting good things from this combination.

Gage is the last book of the series of Bull riders. So this one is quite different for me all the others were about this sport and had described the process of riding/competing. This book had none of that, it was focused on different things about this sport. In this one, we meet Gage who is back in riding-circle and wants to honor his brother. Sierra has alway had hots for Gage and when he is back she just can look away from that fine looking cowboy and his hot body. Lucky for her the attraction is mutual and when one night brings to many bad memories Sierra and Gage find each other. Their relationship is complicated, at first there are secrets and some hard word exchanged. In the end, it all turns out good for both. The characters are ok, good developed, likable. Although the book is not my favorite of the series; the story has its weight and is ok written and was enjoyable to read.

This is the eight and final book in this series, though I suspect it would still read well even if you haven’t read any of the earlier stories in the series. I've actually thoroughly enjoyed the other books in the series and recommend checking them out. This is the story where readers discover just who wins the gold buckle and a million dollars. It is also a story of unusual motivations, touching on strained relationships between the main characters and their respective fathers, the impact of Alzheimers as well as shedding more light on the behind the scenes world of Bull riding.

In this story, Sierra Montez first saw Gage Powell when she was 16 years old. She was attracted to him then but the tragic death of his prize winning bull rider brother, Marty, whilst attempting to ride a bull at the rodeo, meant that Gage didn’t ride then, instead he left to work abroad. He’s back seven years later, to actually compete, following his dreams whilst striving to put the past behind him and to try to win the tour and to earn his ailing father’s love and praise.

Sierra is leading a special promotion for her family’s denim business, one she’s developed and running which is focussed on this tour’s rookie riders, including Gage. Her attraction to him is still there but he’s out to prove he can win the tour and she’s trying to keep professional to prove to her family and their company’s executives. Both Gage and Sierra seek the respect and approval of their fathers, in their own way striving to prove themselves worthy. Will their love prevent them or help them achieve their goals?

The heat between the two is boiling and there’s lots of steamy action but there are also other issues that will test the two, putting obstacles in their path towards their HEA. Gage repeatedly tries to force his attraction to Sierra into the background, pushing her away as he strives to focus on his goal of winning the tour. The story is packed with angst and turmoil as their romance progresses, stalls and travels a very bumpy road. It is great to catch up on the latest news regarding characters met in earlier stories in the series and to discover who wins in the end.

I requested and was given a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion after choosing to read it.

Gage Powell has decided to come back to bull riding after years of working on off shore oil drilling in the Atlantic, in Scotland. He left after his older brother was killed ridding a bull years ago and his father said some very unpleasant things to him in the hospital. Now his dad is dealing with Alzheimer’s, and his mom asked him to come home. He must figure out who he is riding for him or his father. Sierra Montez has grown up around the rodeo and is now part of the marketing of her families Jean company and has come up with a plan with the new riders for the year. One of the ones she is dealing with is 24 year old rookie Gage, who she remembered watching six years ago when his older brother was killed and Gage was just 18. Like everyone else she has been wondering what he has been doing because part of her promotion is having the rookies taking pictures with their shirts off and she is blown away by his appearance. Later when she does something out of character for her she does not know if she should feel bad or not because of the way he treats her. That is when her father decides to put them together and they end up spending time together at his parent’s ranch and she begins to see the problems he is having. As much as she wants to be with him, he must deal with his issues with his father before they can even think they could have a chance at a future together. Both of the lead characters have issues with their fathers and both must work through them in order to have a future. Overall a good book not my favorite of the ones that I have read so far, but still a good book.

This is another great story from the American Extreme Bull Riders series, one I zipped through because I couldn't put it down. Book eight in the series, Gage works equally well as a stand-alone story.
Gage is a complicated character facing some pretty gaping wounds from his past, the most significant one being the inferiority complex he has developed courtesy of his father comparing him unfavourably with his brother when he was growing up. His only plan for the future is to win the gold buckle and leave the country. Sienna is quite different. She too has issues with her father, who heads the family company she works for, but her approach is to carefully plan everything and pay attention to detail.
These two certainly have chemistry and it shows, though there's plenty of push in the relationship too. The plot engaged me from the start and the pacing kept me turning the pages. All in all this was a great afternoon read.

Gage is a racy and steamy book.

“Hot Damn!” Boy oh boy those sex scenes were HOT!!!!

Gage and Sienna find solace in each other even though there is that constant pull that continues to draw them closer and closer, trying against all odds to win. Loved this book.

I truly enjoyed Gage by Katherine Garbera, the eighth and final book in the American Extreme Bull Riders Tour. Gage Powell returned to bull riding and made his debut later than most at age 24, after losing his brother to the sport six years prior. He is taking the circuit by storm as he tries to prove that he is as good as his brother and for his father’s respect. Sierra Montez grew up around the rodeo but believes she is immune to the bull riders, at least until she meets Gage. She finds him exciting and quite difficult to resist, but she does not want to be a buckle bunny. Like Gage, Sierra feels the need to prove to her father she is more than her sister and deserves to be taken seriously. Gage wants to convince Sierra that he is more than just a stereotypical bull rider, that he wants her in his life. After years of messing up relationships, Gage wonders if he can be the man Sierra deserves. This quote from the end of the book best describes his feelings. “Not afraid to let her know how much he wanted and needed her because he’d finally found something he hadn’t known he’s been searching for. He’s finally found a woman to come home to.”

I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down, reading it in one day. Ms. Garbera drew me in and did not let go until I read the last page. I definitely recommend this book to other readers.

Legacy guides him, determination drives him and love will lead him home. Gage has bull riding in his blood and iron in his veins. His journey began in tragedy, but has taken him to new heights of success. Hard work has paid off, but the wound of losing his brother is still a ghost that haunts him. Sierra is one hot tamale. She handles the male dominated rodeo circuit like a pro. Her sassy mouth highlights how strong she really is. Her heart proves to be her most valuable asset, until she crosses paths with her greatest weakness. Katherine Garbera sizzles as she sets fire to an attraction that is as sensitive as it is steamy.

Gage (American Extreme Bull Riders Tour Book 8) by Katherine Garbera
This is Gage Powell and Sierra Montez's story.

Another great bull rider story. Gage is another stubborn hard headed bull rider. It must go with the territory. There is just something about Gage that you just feel for him. With the loss of his brother and his difficult relationship with his father Gage is going through some tough times. Then he meets Sierra. One thing for sure the chemistry is really hot between these two.

FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This book is a great addition to AEBR series. I have loved all the books in this series. In this book it will break your heart with Gage's story. The writing by the author was outstanding how she connects you to the characters. Definitely one that is worth reading.

Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review by Net Galley and Tule Publishing.

Another great book in this American Extreme Bull Riders series. This one focuses on two lonely souls that have relationship issues with their fathers. These difficulties affect the budding relationship between Gage and Sierra. Despite this, long distances, and professional expectations, they manage to realize what really matters in life... true love.

Gage has come back to the tour after he missed his debut when his brother was killed right before he rode. His father told him the wrong brother died. He ran away from family, the US and everything he had ever known. Now that he's back, he's not real sure why and for who he is riding. When he comes across Sierra, the daughter of his sponsor, he knows she is something different. But he's never been good at relationships. Sierra has always been responsible and yet her father thinks she is just like her mom and sister. When they collide their worlds explode in a way they never thought they ever could.

GAGE is another fabulous story of the men and women who choose to make a living by competing in and promoting this extreme sport. I have nothing but the utmost respect for the individuals who participate in this sport, seeking the ultimate prize by putting their health and safety on the line, to entertain the masses.

I have thoroughly enjoyed each and every story in this series, with each book focusing on one bull rider and the woman who eventually captures his heart. This amazing array of authors have each put their personal touch on the creative detail of the story told and provided readers with authentic world building and engaging characters too.

As this may be the last in the series, I’m a little sad to see the series end, but I’m sure these wonderful authors will bring something new and exciting to the table in the near future. So if you haven’t yet enjoyed their rough and ready Cowboys, I suggest you start at the beginning to introduce yourselves to the men and women of the American Extreme Bull Riders Tour .

Thank you to ALL the talented authors who have given us an many a thrilling ride!

I liked Gage ok. I would definitely say this isn't the strongest book in the series but it was still an entertaining read. I recommend reading any of the books in the AEBRT series.

I found the relationship between Gage and Sierra a little bit off. I liked both characters but I never really felt any burning connection between the two. For me, there was never a point that I felt that they belonged together above all others, however, I did enjoy the book.

I would recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance.
