Five stars and here’s why:

This book was such a laugh out loud read! Kassidy and Wyatt are polar opposites. It’s hard to imagine that they’d get together, but for some reason, they just click. And it works. Each of them come with their own set of heavy baggage, but what makes this book so wonderful is that the writing just sucks you in. It’s a page-turner, which is saying a lot for a sports romance, which can get bogged down in details of the game and less time spent on character development. Diane Alberts did her homework and provided just the right recipe for a sweet and sexy romance. Highly recommend!

Sexy romance, Alberts will have a following with her steamy romances.

This was a good book. The main characters were okay, however, they weren't quite strong enough for my particular tastes.

I really enjoyed catching the player. It was a sports romance. The story was very sweet and endearing. I really enjoyed Kassidy and Wyatt. I loved the references of Hamilton it was really funny since I just saw the play Hamilton. I am glad I found this author. I would recommend this book to everyone.

I am completely in love with Wyatt and Kassidy...their story is amusing (to wit: laugh out loud hysterically funny) and heartwarming at the same time. It is unique not just because it's amusing, but because the pair together are so unlikely, making them so much more than just a typical couple in a Rom-Com. There were times where I found myself just smiling and then sighing with an Awww, i.e., Wyatt's grand gesture must not be missed.

Kassidy alone won my heart over early on...both her inner and outer monologues are priceless...her vulnerability and tenacity are admirable. Her tenaciousness to break out and live her live differently drove her directly in Wyatt's path. With the two, what starts out as besties with benefits morphs into more than either of the pair expected. Their improbable relationship makes this that much more of an enjoyable story...simply because it breaks out of the rut of what I've seen lately of other authors turning out stories of mismatched pairs that are predictable...Wyatt and Kassie's story is as far from as predictable has possible.

I haven't read the first two books in the series, but now having been introduced to the rest of the Hamilton siblings, I've got to catch up on their stories...I'm expecting that Ms Alberts will not disappoint in those stories either.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Kind of depressing. I wanted this to be a fun read and it was anything but that. Wyatt was a jerk and I couldn't find anything redeeming about him.

I loved this book. The grins and giggles will really keep you going through this one as well as watching Kassidy and Wyatt do the dance around each other. There wasn't one thing not to like about it. I like Diane's books anyway, but this was just perfect.

Losing a bet to her brother, Kass has to go deliver a singing telegram to who she thinks is probably a woman since it was sent by a man. At least she's hopeful, considering she's wearing a very tiny bustier which she's spilling out of and a tiny little skirt. Think a cross between Peter Pan and Tink.
She gets to the address which a huge mansion and a grumpy man answers the door, and she starts, but can she sing? Hell no. In fact growing up family rule was she wasn't allowed to sing. So this amused hot looking man standing in his doorway staring at the bustier, while she continues through her caterwauling. He's taken with Kass. When she realizes it's Wyatt and he's the reason she's there, look out. She's pissed because she lost a bet she made with her brother on a game based on Wyatt being out on the injured list. So she gives him hell for that. This is all his fault. He takes it all in stride and here begins a little sprout of a relationship. Wyatt asks her out on a date and as the two get to know each other well......

Not saying another word, read the book!!! It's a keeper!

A fun and entertaining Rom-com with more improbable situations than comedy involving an NFL football player and a Chinese-speaking, pint-sized family floral business accountant.
Kassidy can’t sing worth a hoot but a bet is a bet and she must deliver a singing telegram dressed in a fairy costume with cleavage. Never, in her wildest dream, did she think she would be embarrassing herself in front of her favorite football star. What are the chances that she would speak Chinese and be able to step in to cover for his fired agent, successfully I might add, during the biggest endorsement deal of his career? More improbable is that a chance encounter between the football loving accountant and football star evolves into “Besties with Bennies”.
Wyatt might be the famous football player but does Kassidy every have a surprise for him! Story 4*, Emotion 3.5*, Sizzle 4*.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC from Netgalley.
I had high hopes for this book after reading the description. Sounded pretty hilarious! But, I started reading and low and behold, EDITING was non existent. UGGHHHH!!!! I hate that! I plowed through the story and if you disregard my editing comments the story was.....it was OK. IMO, it felt somewhat juvenile. These were adults and yet if I didn't know it, I would've thought differently.

Overall, it wasn't bad. It was a quick and easy read (if you discount the editing). Unfortunately, it just didn't thrill me.

Surprising sweet! These characters are so complex and the situations they find themselves in are fun and original. Singing telegram, super fun dinners and most of all this great friendship that got her to do things out of her comfort zone and got him to find a love besides football. Kassidy is exactly what Wyatt needs and yet he is so afarid that he might just crush the heart of the very best person to ever sing her way into his life! My heart nearly broke at the end of this book, he was such a jerk and yet I really still wanted them to connect and for him to come to his senses and listen to his heart for once. Well written book with really fascinating characters!

Kassidy gets Wyatt, and doesn't want to get in the way of his dreams. She's willing to take what ever he's able to give her. Then we have Wyatt who thinks he has it all, then finds his life turned upside down from the first time he met Kassidy. Who knew horrible singing could win you a guy. This is a cute love story.

This book was really terrrific for the most part. I really loved Wyatt and Kassidy and together they are cute and fun. The book starts off really wonderfully with a singing telegram to football star Wyatt by Kassidy who cannot sing. And thats how Kass changes Wyatt's life.

Wyatt is a sexy, rich, football player and is loving his life with is all about football all the time. He does not want or have time for a relationship but can he resist Kassidy? But the real question was why would he want to? And so starts this fun and sweet novel.

For the most part I loved the book. But then Wyatt becomes the biggest jerk (no spoilers) and luckily it does not last long. But I loved how hard he tries to make up with her. This book stands alone though it appears to be part of a series.

I really liked the heroine, Kassidy, although I thought having her not date for the last several years due to her idiot ex boyfriend was a stretch. However, I really disliked the hero, Wyatt Hamilton, a star NFL quarterback. He came across as a man who has never grown up and is self centered and egocentric. He seemed to care only for himself and football and only "grew up" towards the end of the story which came on too fast.

Although the writing was well done I just couldn't get past the hero's negative traits..

This is a good story but also a good fun read.

I loved this book! Kassidy was a riot and I knew Wyatt was going to fall hard for this unpretentious lady. Even if his skull was a bit thick at times, I was glad to see that he shaped up before it was too late. Excellent read! I received this book for review courtesy of Netgalley.

This is a short, fun read about an improbable romance. If you can suspend disbelief that a shy, stuck-in-a-rut, do-everything-by-the-books heroine can catch the eye of a sexy, successful star quarterback, then you’ll enjoy this book. Kassidy Thomas works as an accountant for her family’s florist business. Can there be any choice of a career that symbolizes the heroine’s reluctance to take risks? But she gets conned into delivering flowers and singing to a guy who turns out to be Wyatt Hamilton, Atlanta’s star quarterback. He’s attracted to her but really needs to know someone who speaks Chinese to go with him to a dinner with Chinese businessmen who might want to hire him to advertise in their country.

And, of course, Kassidy, speaks and understands fluent Chinese even though she’s never been to the country. Yeah, that’s believable, but just go with it. She is the most accommodating woman that a guy who never wants to have a serious relationship that might distract from football. Apparently, he’s unaware that Tom Brady and Eli Manning, two QBs mentioned in the book that have beaten Hamilton, are married.

I enjoy romances, so I don’t mind suspending disbelief. Kassidy turns out to be a sweetheart so you’ll be pulling for Wyatt to figure out what he needs to in order for there to be a HEA.

Loved! This is an entertaining love story with two characters determined to not fall in love. Kassidy is a sweet girl that has protected her wounded heart by withdrawing from dating for years when losing a bet with her brother puts her in Wyatt's orbit. Wyatt is a well known quarterback totally devoted to football. While he enjoys the ladies, he will never give a girl more than one night. After Kassidy helps him with a problem, an unlikely friendship develops.

I enjoyed the way the author told their story even though I didn't start out loving the characters. I thought Kassidy was a bit of a doormat and Wyatt was a bit much, but as all good novels do, the characters transformed and changed in a way that made me love them.

Fans of the genre will love this book. While this is part of a series, this is a stand alone novel, however, its so good that you really owe it to yourself to read them all. The author is on my must read authors' list.
