Really enjoyed this book, the story of 4 sisters, cousins to a Scot Duke, are escorted for their ton season by two burly Highlanders. Two of the girls are drawn to the Highlanders, while the other two have designs on two inappropriate men. The girls create mayhem for the men, but there is a delightful HEA. You can’t go wrong with a York novel.

This was a cute story, not my favorite of the series but still enjoyable. It follows two sisters and their quest for love, especially when it was unexpected for one of the sisters. Their cousin sends two Highlanders in his stead to make sure the four girls are courted and have perfect coming out.
Yet for two of the sisters, Elizabeth St. Clair and Lizzie's older sister, Anne, love comes in the form of these Highlanders. Hamish Robb and Ranald Gunn, Baron of Bower, respectively.
It's the story of how the sisters fight the inevitable and how both Hamish and Ranald realize over time, they are the best mates for these women, even though they also fight the attraction.

This was an entertaining fast-paced romp about four sisters on the marriage mart. The Duke of Caithness, who we met in Lana and the Laird, planned on introducing them to the ton as he was very happy to learn that he had more relatives. Due to Lana on the brink of having their first child, Lachlan had to send two of his friends to act as the cousins' protectors during the season. Almost immediately, two of the sisters, Anne and Elizabeth, was attracted to the protectors. And then the story begins. Lots of elements--elopement, deceptive lovers, gamblers and an assortment of characters make up this book. I enjoyed the book but the character, Twiggy had too much story time that could have been used on the real romances. I also would have liked to know the sex of Lana's and the Duke's baby. I give this book a thumbs up, four star rating.

Oh, this was so much fun to read...it had me chuckling all the way through. Sabrina has a gift and I have got to make it a priority to read her backlist, especially Nobel Passions series. Many of these characters spill from that series into the Untamed Highlanders. Thank you Sabrina and St. Martin's Press for the ARC in exchange for this review.

If you remember the new Duke of Caithness is Lachlan from Lana and the Laird #3. Well, he's got 4 distant cousin sisters who have been orphaned and he want's to give them their season in London so they can find husbands. His beloved Lana is expecting so he sends two if his faithful men to oversee their seasons making sure they are well protected. Can you imagine the stir in the Ton of two "wild" highlanders in kilts attending the season's events? They are not well accepted since they don't have the title of Duke but tolerated. I'm afraid Baron Ranald Gunn and Hamish Robb and too much fun appearing "fierce" for the 4 sisters and scaring off the "unsavory" suitors after money and the Duke's favored family. What I enjoyed besides Sabrina's delightful turn of phrase now and then was that each of the 4 sisters get their HEA in this book. And that each had to happen in the order that they did in order for the next sister to find her HEA. This book is primarily about Elizabeth St. Claire and Hamish Robb fighting their attraction. Hamish doesn't feel worthy of Lady Elizabeth since he has no title and is under the mistaken idea that Elizabeth want to live like the London Ton. She has no tolerance for the Ton and only wants the wilds of Scotland where she visited as a teen and fell in love with the land and it's people. There are so many quotes I saved and I will add them to my quotes page instead of here but this book is so colorful and chuckle worthy!

I absolutely LOVED the other books in this series, but for some reason, I just could not get into this one. I liked the storyline, but it was almost as if someone else wrote the book. It had it's moments where I laughed out loud, but some of the dialogue was very amateurish.

I'm hoping that the next book in the series is more like books 1-3 than this one, as it was like pulling teeth for me to get through it...

I was going to put this in my top twenty, however, the story veered off, from two sexy Highlanders, mature, caring, and in two pages, they were brought down to the level of behavior of six year old boys. Ruined the whole book for me. Thanks!

This was a good read. It worked quickly through the various sisters, giving each of them their own plot points while still keeping the main pairing front and center.

I have loved each book in this series! My favorite has always been the first, as is the case with many series. This one has surpassed the first one! Romance galore, very heated passion, action and suspense at every turn. Not one dull page. I couldn’t put it down and I can’t see that anyone could. It’s that good! Just wow! Sabrina York, you have outdone yourself! Book provided by NetGalley.

The Sinclair sisters Elizabeth, Anne, Victoria and Mary all live with their Aunt Esmeralda in London. Elizabeth has always be intrigued by Highlanders and is quite intrigued by the Highlander’s her distant cousin the Duke of Caithness has sent to be their protectors during their London season. He sends Hamish Robb and Ranald Gunn, Baron of Bower, to watch over them and scrutinize their suitors Hamish Robb has no title, but he immediately is attracted to Elizabeth and if the looks she’s been giving mean anything the feel is mutual. The book is mainly about Elizabeth and Hamish, but all the sisters find suitors with men that may surprise you. Elizabeth being pursued by Lord Twiggenberry, who she does not care for. Lord Twiggenberry interrupts her plans to marry Hamish and she feels her life is over. This is a fast moving story, but with all the sisters being strong independent women who want to marry for love makes for quite the captivating story with deception, love and adventure along the way.
This is my honest opinions after I voluntarily read a copy of this book that was provided to me with no requirements for a review.

I loved this book and I love this series! One of the things I like best about this book is there are several romances happening at the same time. The main characters are Hamish Robb and Elizabeth St. Claire their romance is sweet and highly entertaining. Hamish and his friend Ranald Bower have been sent to protect the St. Claire sisters during their season and see to it that they find proper husbands. The connection between Hamish and Elizabeth is instant. Hamish does not have a title and feels unworthy but Elizabeth is determined to seduce Hamish at every turn. Which leads to some very comical situations.
The shining stars of this book are the St. Claire sisters themselves. Their sisterly bond and witty dialogue made me laugh throughout the book and I did not want their story to end.

The Highlander Is All That ⭐️⭐️

Elizabeth St. Claire has always been hard to please. Dreaming solely of Highlander men her whole life, no prancing London Lord can stand a chance at winning her heart

Hamish and Ranald are to serve as emissaries in the Duke of Cathness’ stead, to oversee the seasons for the Duke’s 4 newfound cousins. Anne, Elizabeth, Victoria and Mary and chaperoned by their aunt Esmerelda. The Duke has provided them with everything needed for a successful season, as well as dowries, to see these girls wed and happy. But, the Scotsmen in London, especially during the season, are sure to bring no end of curiosity.

Elizabeth watches intrigued as the Highlander of her dreams, a Scotsman arrives to oversee her season at the behest of her cousin, the Duke of Caithness. Elizabeth doesn’t hide her feelings for the Scotsman and within a day or two seduces him....

Let's move on to sister #2..... Then sister #3....and finally sister #4 well let's just leave it there as she at least is engaged to the best friends brother.

Brief excerpt from the epilogue for your reading enjoyment:

Ah. She loved him. “I’m pleased we found each other—”
"So gratified to hear it—”
"But I’m pleased for everyone as well.”
"As am I. No doubt the duke will be pleased as well.”
"And heaven forfend the duke not be pleased.”
"Indeed.”

If you enjoyed the above dialogue, no doubt you'll like the book. For me ehh, I probably won't read any others in the series. I'm being generous with a 2 star rating.

I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Thank you NetGalley!

If you are looking for a sexy Highlander to warm up the cold autumn nights, then look no further than Hamish Robb, the hero of Sabrina York’s enthralling new tale, The Highlander Is All That!

Unlike other girls in the Ton, Elizabeth St. Claire does not dream of marrying a fashionable fop or a decadent dandy. Having spent most of her life daydreaming about brawny and brooding Highlanders, London lords do absolutely nothing for Elizabeth and there isn’t a single man in polite society who can hope to win her heart. However, Elizabeth’s dream of marrying a Highlander look set to finally come to fruition when she crosses paths with Hamish Robb, a man who looks like he has just stepped out of one of her romantic fantasies. Is Hamish going to be the answer to all of her prayers? Or is she destined for bitter disappointment?

Hamish Robb has been sent by the Duke of Caithness to oversee Elizabeth St Claire’s season. A man who takes his job extremely seriously, Hamish is determined to keep things strictly professional between him and Elizabeth, despite the fact that she seems hellbent on seduction. Hamish is determined to stay strong and not to let his feelings interfere with the job at hand – but that proves to be easier said than done! Although Elizabeth begins to haunt his thought and dreams, Hamish knows that he simply cannot act on his attraction towards her. A woman like Elizabeth deserves a far better and richer man than him, so he must put duty before desire and keep their relationship strictly platonic. But is he ready to let this chance at happiness slip through his fingers?

Will Hamish and Elizabeth get the happy ending they so richly deserve? Or is their love simply not meant to be?

An enchanting and enjoyable historical romance that sparkles with humour, warmth, charm and heart, The Highlander Is All That – despite the anachronistic title! – is a fantastic read that I devoured in a single sitting. Heartwarming, compelling and wonderfully feel-good, The Highlander Is All That is packed with terrific characters that leap off the pages, witty repartee, red-hot passion and uplifting romance.

Sexy, scintillating and spellbinding, The Highlander Is All That is a first class historical romance readers are going to love!

Pick a chair and this book, and prepare to be delighted and amused. Hamish and Ranald are to serve as emissaries in the Duke of Cathness’ stead, to oversee the seasons for the Duke’s newfound cousins. Anne, Elizabeth, Victoria and Mary are living in the Duke’s house, supervised by their aunt Esmerelda. The Duke has provided them money for the season and it’s accoutrements, as well as dowries, to see these girls wed and happy. But, the Scotsmen in London, especially during the season, are sure to bring no end of curiosity. These four sisters are clever, fun, a bit headstrong and wholly intriguing. And on the surface, their aunt Esmerelda is ruling with an iron fist, solidly grounded in the ways of the ton, and wholly appropriate for their sponsor – as she is a highly placed dowager in society.

Oh this was such fun, and so many characters familiar from earlier books in the series, and plenty of action and moments to laugh. From Hamish being manhandled (and nearly ravaged) by the leading light in a retiring room at Almack’s their first night out as chaperones, to the leading contender for Elizabeth’s hand being named Twiggenberry, and replete odorous pomade, the back and forth here is funny, as the fires burn for all the young women, just not as their aunt would have it.

A kidnapping, two runaways and two harrowing treks to Gretna Green have the verra capable Hamish and Ranald near their wits’ end, with both finding themselves in quandaries: serve their Duke and see them married, or allow love to grow and perhaps risk his wrath. From Anne’s solid protestations of being ‘out of the frenzy’, to Mary’s starry-eyed love, Elizabeth’s naiveté wrapped in the desire of her heart and Victoria’s inability to keep a secret in the midst of her outrageous utterances, the story is wonderfully quick to move, and readers of the series will instantly recognize (and love the insertions) from friends and family met earlier in the series. If you’ve not read the series, after the epilogue, you most certainly will want to grab every book in the series – and be prepared for laughter, heart, steam and plenty of happy endings. I can’t wait for the stories of Isobel and Catriona and their debuts in London – I know that these are characters that everyone can find someone to love within!

York has done it again – melded great romance and plenty of obstacles to show the power of love winning out – and taking readers on a journey full of heart.

I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

The Highlander Is All That
by Sabrina York

Elizabeth St.Claire is mesmerized as she comes across the man tasked at overseeing her London season. She has come to the very conclusion that any suitable suitor comes up short, she can’t help but compare them to the brawny Scot - Hamish Robb.
Hamish Robb is sure that the beautiful Elizabeth St. Claire is not the woman for him he has absolutely nothing to offer her, certainly she deserves more than he can offer, but try as they might their passion is unavoidable and falling in love is the only outcome!
Witty dialogue and a mesmerizing backdrop a plot for kidnapping keep you turning the pages andis absolutely brilliant! A fast page intriguing adventure filled with mystery, supsense, steamy passion, love and more than one happily ever after.

I highly recommend this spectacular fast paced read from start to finish! Another captivating story from Sabrina York!

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley for my honest unbiased opinion.

I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and fair review. This book tells the story of Elizabeth St. Claire and Hamish Robb. Hamish has arrived in London at the bequest of his friend and business partner, Lachlan Sinclair (a duke). Sinclair’s wife is pregnant and can’t travel, and so he sends his friends Hamish and Ranald to watch over his four female cousins as they fight for husbands this Season. Elizabeth and her three sisters, Anne, Mary, and Victoria, are all very charming and lovely women. Elizabeth has always had a fondness for Scotsmen, even though she’s lived her whole life in London. She did visit Scotland once and found it to be entrancing, as she has also found the brawny men of Scotland as well. So when an especially handsome one shows up on her doorstep, she isn’t about to let this opportunity pass her by. And even though Elizabeth’s sister Anne doesn’t particularly care for Scotsmen (dislikes them in fact), she can’t seem to help herself when it comes to Ranald.

Overall I enjoyed this book a lot. It was definitely a quick read and so of the plot pieces were a tad unclear (like the timing once we got to the last couple chapters, it sounded like months went by but then we were talking as if weeks went by or days and it was a little confusing). I really liked that this story line incorporated the lives and romances of all four St. Claire sisters, it added an extra layer of interest. This was definitely a quick and easy read but still kept the reader interested. The story had a sweet ending and I thought this was a good addition to the series! I would recommend it.

This was such a fun book as we watch four sisters being pushed into the marriage market. We get to see many of the previous characters in this books which is great to see them again as they lend their help to the sisters.

Most of the book is about Elizabeth and Hamish but there is also Anne and Ranald, Mary and Jamison, and Victoria and Peter. I loved that Peter (former gambler) has changed his ways and is finding love. It was fun to see the change in people as the book progresses - Anne hated Scottish men but ends up loving one, Hamish was not looking for love but finds it, and even Aunt Esmeralda accepts the love matches which don't involve men with titles.

The book not only has lots of romance but intrigue, chases, and some humor. When Elizabeth threw up on Twiggenberry's shoes, that was just too funny! It was hard to put the book down, and I really loved the epilogue.

This was the first book in the series that I read and I can say that it is simply wonderful.
Unlike the standard stories we see about a single couple, this brings the story of four sisters. The St Claire sisters, who live under the care of Aunt Esmeralda Van Cleve.
Three of them were eager to find a husband, while the eldest, Anne, had not wanted to know about romance since her heart was broken.
They would have the support of their cousin Duke of Caithness.
But since their cousin's wife was pregnant, he did not want to leave his wife alone, so he sent two emissaries to see that his cousins were properly introduced to London Ton.

Randall Gunn, Baron Bower, and Hamish Robb were Scots. And this created a great conflict for the sisters, for the men were not a high title (Hamish had no title at all) and were Scottish, they would not be welcome in the noble balls.
And in the weeks to come all sorts of confusion happened simply because London was not prepared for the impetuosity of the St Claire sisters.

Ranald was attracted to Anne, but he knew that her heart was broken.
Hamish and Elizabeth were falling in love, but he was a simple distillery owner and thought she deserved a rich, titled husband.
Victoria was falling in love with her friend Catherine's brother, and he had already gotten into a lot of trouble for being an inveterate gambler. And the youngest Mary, to everyone's despair, fell in love with the footman.

Add to those things a hunt for what Scottish men hide under their kilts, a kidnapping and escape for Gretna Green, and we have the perfect story here to laugh and get excited about.
5 stars

English manners meets Scottish brogue and two handsome, kilt wearing lads in a London setting in this one, my fellow Scottish romance book loving friends. If the book synopsis appeals to you, you’ll likely enjoy Ms. York’s engaging writing and storyline. It contains pretty much a check-off list of romance staples for this genre (forbidden attraction that eventually can’t be denied, likable characters, an interfering force that tries to get in the way, a couple of perilous situations, a patient heroine who won’t settle for anything less than love, and a groveling hero who finally comes to his senses.) Yes, relationship angst and self-denial take center stage the first 40%, as Hamish, the hero, tries to keep his hands and lips off Elizabeth, who he considers forbidden due to his assigned duty to watch over her and his lower station in life. Fortunately for us, Elizabeth is equally stubborn.

Elizabeth came across as a sweet but occasionally rebellious English lass who is in love with all things highlander, including Hamish at first sight. It isn’t until almost mid-way through their feelings for each other can no longer be denied. But the path to happily ever afters are rarely smooth. For this couple, the journey was crowded, as well. More than one romance played out in this romantic tale, but, honestly, it didn’t take away from the main couple’s relationship.

If you have read the previous books of this stand-alone but connected series, you’ll appreciate the very brief cameo appearances of those book characters near the end. Anne and Ranald become a prominent secondary main couple as their romance unfolds alongside Hamish and Elizabeth’s. I also loved to see just what lengths this posse of sisters would go through to help one another find true happiness.

Here’s to hoping my review has been helpful in some way in deciding if this book will be all that and more for you. I certainly enjoyed it. Sabrina York continues to remain on my top Scottish romance author radar, folks.
