The first 2 chapters of this book were absolutely amazing and I can NOT wait to learn more about the Voss family & read the rest of Without Merit! Can it just be October yet?
I read the excerpt for Without Merit and already I am captivated by the story of Merit and her eclectic family. Colleen Hoover is such an incredibly talented writer that by the end of the first page I already felt as though I was in Merit's world, in her small town, so immersed in the story. I can't wait to read the entire book as the feedback I've seen says it is emotional and awesome.
I loved the small preview we get into Without Merit. I can already tell the family dynamic is unique and not at all what you would view as a cookie cutter family. I love when authors show the twisted and confused side of families. The characters have flaws and based on most Hoover books, we'll love them harder for it. Can't wait until my preorder arrives.
This was a wonderful opportunity to read a snippet of a book I've been so eager to read for months and months .... but it just left me wanting this book all the more. Intense, moving, descriptive, emotional, intriguing every thing I'd expect from a Colleen Hoover book and so much more. I already know I'm going to adore and love this book more than any other of her books I've already read. Impatiently waiting every day for it's release.
It starts out well, it's just an excerpt, so I'm looking forward to reading the whole book
I have always loved and yet hated excerpts/teasers. I love them because they whet my appetite for what's to come when I finally get to read the story. Yet I hate them because I know I still have to wait until I get the book to finish where I left off. I LOVED this excerpt and can't wait for the book to be published and is in my hands!
Colleen Hoover is one of my favourite authors, so when I saw that an excerpt of her upcoming release was available, I jumped at the chance to read it and quickly sent it to my kindle.
I flipped through those two chapters quickly, drawn in and intrigued by the main character Merit and her seemingly odd family.
I can’t wait for the book’s release this October! I enjoyed the quick taste and I’m looking forward to reading the entire novel.
I cannot wait for this book to be released loved this excerpt!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this teaser of Without Merit! Thank you for allowing me the first couple chapters. Sadly, now I WANT IT ALL! Waiting for the release date is going to be difficult, but I know, as always, Colleen Hoover will not disappoint with this book. From the little teaser of the first couple chapters, I can already tell this book is going to be amazing and anxiously await the release of Without Merit.
This is a review of an excerpt of without merit. From what I've read in the excerpt , I'm already hooked. Colleen Hoover has always had a way of drawing you in from the start. I have a feeling this is going to be a another great one if ìt keeps up this pace.
The Without Merit Exercpt was engaging with moments of seriousness and also humor. The characters are relatable and I am So excited to learn more about them and their story. I am DYING for this book to come out in October. Colleen Hoover is a master of story telling and has a beautiful gift with words!!!
This is excellent. I became a fab of Colleen's work months ago and I'm definitely looking forward to the rest of the novel in October to see where these characters end up. Hoover knocks it out of the park again!
Wow just wow! after reading the first two chapters of this book I am so totally. The wait for the release of this book is going to drive me totally nuts. After learning about Merit and her odd kinda family I'm intrigued to learn more about what goes on in her life and what will happen to her and her sister's boyfriend Sagan. I am expecting there to be a lot of hurt and heartbreak from this book and Iabsolutely wouldn't expect anything less from the writing of Colleen Hoover.
Full disclosure, I'm a HUGE CoHort fan. Not #45 HUGE as I think his estimate on that word is wrong, but whatever my love for her is bigger.
That stated, I have loved every book she has published with the exception of Never Never. So I've been anticipating this newest book since she said she was writing a new story. I'm honored to get to read an excerpt but now I'm sorta of wishing I hadn't. Mainly b/c I know I'm going to love the book. Reading just a sneak peek is just mean. MEAN. I got to the end of it and was all "shit! that's right, only a small piece." I can't focus on my next book I keep thinking of Merit. Now I have to wait and patience is not a virtue I posses. Barely an ounce of it. But I have zero choice. I already pre-ordered the book. I wait with baited breathe that the publishers decide to release it early.
As far as reviews goes, this one sucked b/c I want more. I don't know how Colleen does it, but in that short excerpt she draws you in. I also don't know how she gets me to enjoy YA books.
This excerpt just made me more excited for the book to come out, I can not wait!
Two chapters and I have already been hooked! This story sounds intriguing and exciting. I cannot wait to read the whole book!
I need more!!! Such a tease, I can't wait for this book to release.
This is the first thing I have ever read by Colleen Hoover and even tho it's just the except I wasn't more of the book. It's interesting, intriguing, suspenseful yet my heart totally goes out to Merit. I'm curious to see where this journey goes with Merit. Is it Oct 3rd yet. Lol
*Will update my review once I have read all of the book*
Colleen Hoover can do no wrong. The excerpt only makes the anticipation greater for the release of this book!
I reading enjoyed the tiny sneak peak into this book. So much so, that I kind of wish I didn't read it only because it left me wanting the rest of the book as soon as possible. Merit, seems like a person who is kind of sad and lonely and needs an escape in life. I really loved her first meeting with Sagan. That was very surprising and unexpected. I can't wait to find out more about Merit's life and her family.
