Kogan books do a great job of rooting you in the specific subject and makign you knowledgeable in the topic, looking at it from the definition to the need for it and the context.
Interesting book, rich of examples and relevant information. The tone is indeed too academical, it gives the impression more of a textbook for economy students rather than a handbook for managers or entrepreneurs.
At over 200 pages with a very texty layout, this dry book is more boring than any text book I can imagine. What would've been helpful for me is to see an incorporation of samples. This could've been beneficial if operated as more manual and less espousing. If you're looking to do SDM, you'll not effectively learn how to put it into practice from this resource.
