Loved this graphic novel. The story goes so well with the movie which is a fav. If you like the movie then you will love me the book. It is a volume that goes along with the other books to get the full movie story. Well done in graphics too.
*thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*
3 stars.
I havent read book 1 and apparently its also a movie (which Ive only just found out, must be because I live under a [pile of books] rock), but this was still good. I still enjoyed it and I really liked the art work. It would definitely appeal to young readers as the colours are nicely vibrant. Will have to read book 1 and then wait for book 3 to come out.
Great graphics with easy to follow and read captions. Great for middle aged readers (6-8). Hard copy would be better than digital.
I'm sad to say that I have a few books from Netgalley that I DNF on... either it didn't hook me into the story and I lost least or I found out that there is more to the series and can't get the first and so on book from that series... Yup here it goes, Don't believe me wash the dishes! Look at the website: http://fkrants.blogspot.com/2017/09/ng-dnf-sept-edition.html
I have not gotten a chance to watch the movies but I love the idea of this series-- it gives us a chance to continue in the lives of our beloved heroes and villains from the Disney world.
Adventure continues as the group of young villains continues to learn who they are and who they don't have to be. Hi-jinks and growth abound!
Grabbed an ARC of this one because I enjoy graphic novels. Didn't realize that this was a volume two. Readers should absolutely begin with volume one. The characters are already established, and it took a bit of figuring who was who. Clever premise, the descendants of Disney characters are in high school together, but just too stereotypical to be enjoyable. So much more out there that speaks to more nuanced storytelling in manga.
I just love, love, love this Mangaseries. I have to admit I've never seen the movies but as I love this Mangaseries (already loved the first one and now the second one as well) I think I should watch the movie.
I really like the whole idea of the children of the most famous disney characters being together.
