I absolutely loved this book! In fact I am so in love with this series. I was super excited for Gabe’s book and this did not disappoint. Loved it!
This story really packed a punch considering the shorter length. My one and only complaint (this may not be valid since I have not read the previous books and the chemistry may have then been established) is that we didn't get to see any of the developing relationship between Gabe and McKenna that takes place over the course of the previous year. That being said, they still were great together and had good chemistry throughout the story. I like how they fought for their relationship. McKenna finally does the right thing for her brother and everyone gets their happily ever after. Really enjoyed the steamy bits of this story! Especially the one of Gabe's club...SWOON! If this was the end of this series, it was fantastic. Definitely makes me want to go back and read the others!
ARC provided by NetGalley.
Such a fun, fast read! Highly entertaining. I highly recommend this book! I loved all the struggles McKenna went through.
Any story that includes a powerful, wealthy, and sexy leading man is a smashing hit in my book! Gabe is all of those things! I was intrigued by the storyline. I loved the bond that the four men had and I love how they protected and stood by each other with no questions. The sex scenes were super hot! Some of the language was a bit rough for my tastes but I understand that it lent itself to the story. I liked the relationship and vulnerability in McKenna and Gabe's relationship and I liked the happily-ever-after!
This is the first book I read by this author. I found that I did not have to read the previous stories to enjoy this one. The attraction between Gabe and McKenna is tested greatly throughout this story. Gabe's anger changes to guilt, remorse, then to protectiveness, caring and love. McKenna has to fight her own guilty feelings for all that she has brought into his world as well as her feelings of family loyalty. I enjoyed the story of their journey very much, though I felt the intimate scenes between them were a little too emotionless.
I received a copy of this story through Netgalley, and this is my unsolicited review.
Out of all the Dirty Little Secrets novels this is my favorite. Gabe and McKenna are beautiful together. The story follows Gabe and McKenna trying to find her brother, along the way they find their feelings for each other growing into something beautiful. Stacey wrote a novel with strong characters, some really hot scenes and a very interesting story. Terrific ending to a series!
WHAT a way to end a series! Cuffed is full of twists and turns as Gabe tries to find out who has sold out himself and his friends. The first scene of the book between Gabe and McKenna was brutal....on my heart. These two are so good together. The epilogue, though short and sweet, gives us a brief glimpse into the futures of the characters we've followed throughout this series. While I am sad to be saying goodbye to the counsel, I think there may be a good chance we;ll sew them again.
Cuffed by His Charm by Stacey Kennedy is book 4 and , from what I understand, final book in the Dirty Little Secrets series. This is the story of Gabe O’Keefe and McKenna Archer.
McKenna Archer has been in love with her boss, Gabe O'Keefe for quite some time but Gabe doesn’t want to step over the line from boss to lover. He prefers to stay her boss while she is desperately in love with him. Gabe gets some wrong information and thinks McKenna was spying on him and his friends and then selling this information off to a tabloid . He turned so nasty and hateful towards her. My heart literally broke as I read his treatment towards her at that point. When Gabe finds out who the true guilty party is, he feels devastated and then in turns really guilty because he realizes that it wasn’t McKenna’s fault. He is going to have a devil of a time getting her to trust him again.
McKenna has had a hard time in her personal life due to a family member having scrapes with the law. She hasn’t had the best home life or people who treated her right growing up. She has had to be parent and sibling to her younger brother. She protected him when there was no one to protect her . She was the responsible person while her brother was in and out of trouble in his life. Now the time has come where she has to decide will she let him take the punishment he so richly deserves or will she bail him out yet again? Also, I was waiting to see how she would handle how Gabe and how he treated her. McKenna was super loyal to a fault and never gave Gabe a reason to doubt her. There was lots of ups and downs yet when it all comes down to it, will she chose her brother or will she chose the man she has always loved. This was a great way to end this awesome series. Gabe and McKenna made a fabulous couple and their chemistry was intense and lovely.
My Rating: 4.6 stars *****
“I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."
First of all I want to thank Netgalley and Random House Loveswept for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.
My heart breaks for McKenna for the things that she goes through thanks to someone else. She was blamed for things that she didn't do because of someone else. But its nice to see that Gabe is there for her. He helps her resolve the problems that she has gotten into, while at the same time figuring out his and his buddy's own situations. I like the adventure that these two go through, there is excitement and adventure in the book, I really enjoyed that.
3.5 Stars
This is the 4th in the series and I have been looking forward to Gabe and McKenna's story. The beginning was interesting and I was really looking forward to where this was going to go and the tension that was created by the beginning of the story and the revelations that followed soon after.
But, then something happened and the characters in this fell a little flat to me, and they seemed to just accept easily the things that were happening. While this is not always a bad thing, and I do enjoy the romance novels that involve characters sliding into their relationship and staying there, for some reason this didn't totally work for Gabe and McKenna.
I am not saying that the book was bad, or that I didn't enjoy it...it wasn't and I did...but I think I wanted more of the angst and the tension that was promised at the beginning.
It was nice to see the resolution of this, and the chance to see all of the other characters happy, and I did enjoy this overall.
I do recommend this title, especially if you have read the others.
Cuffed by His Charm by Stacey Kennedy is Book Four in the "Dirty Little Secrets" series. This is the story of Gabe O’Keefe and McKenna Archer. I have read the previous book but feel this can be a standalone book (note there was a tease between these two in the last one). But this has been a great series so just for that reason you might not want to miss any. I know I have one book I have to follow back up with.
Gabe is very well off but he can strive doing everyday work like behind a bar and such. When he feels that McKenna has wronged him...Gabe gets very upset. But Mckenna has had a hard life growing up with the mother she had. Now her brother is starting to do things that is getting her in trouble for. But McKenna tries to stay loyal to her brother and protect him even when she should have left him.
Ms. Kennedy's books are ones that you cannot just start reading and thinking you can walk away from after a few chapters...you are in it till the end. Which I love about her book and how hot they can be!
Loved it!

This is the forth book in this series by this author. This is a suspense filled romance read. The characters are amazing and have fantastic chemistry. This book can be read as a stand alone read or as part of the series. This is a very sexy, sinful story that will keep you hooked till the last page. I can't wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.
Highly recommended
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book
All of the secrets they been trying to uncover reveal themselves in this book and I couldn't get enough.
This time it was Gabe and McKenna's time to write their story, but it was not gonna be easy, they had a lot of secrets and bad blood between them.
Gabe misjudge her and he put their relationship at risk by not trusting the person he knew her to be. But she saw through his anger for her allege betrayal and accepted him again because he was all she needed.
Unfortunately, the truth didn't set them free, it just complicated everything a whole lot more.
Very bad people and a troubled family member threatened their lives and it's up to them to decide whether this is going to destroy them or bring them together stronger than ever.
The chemistry between them was insane, they been holding off each other for a really long time and when they finally let go it was close to perfection.
McKenna has a lot to decide, but she was true to herself all along, she knew that she wanted Gabe and in the end there wasn't really a choice to be made.
Received an ARC for my honest opinion review for Netgalley
Gabe O'Keefe, he really enjoys the attention of being in the public eye. Until someone shares his little secret.
McKenna Archer has had a tough life , but her brother just made it worst .
Hot romance and suspense !! What more can a reader want!!!
What a great conclusion to the Dirty Little Secrets series. I really enjoyed the interactions between Gabe and McKenna. They were a perfectly written couple. Neither took any crap from each other; they were both strong in their beliefs. I love how the drama unfolded and the secrets were solved. Another hit by Stacey Kennedy!

McKenna Archer has been working for Gabriel as a bartender for a year. The entire year they have been walking a fine line between flirtation and caving in to smoldering desire, but Gabe refuses to cross that line. He does not date employees and so they continue their dance of temptation, which is quickly becoming sweet torture. But Gabe is suddenly on a rampage and something has shifted – he’s crossing a line he never has before, which is a dream come true. Except he’s calling her a backstabber. A traitor. She has no idea what is happening, but it’s bad and now her only course of action is to prove her innocence and help Gabe set things right. Unwittingly, she has played a hand in this scandal and she can’t move on with Gabe until this situation is resolved. However, familial connection isn’t an easy cord to sever and the actual offender might cause too much damage for Gabe and McKenna to be able to rally back from.
Gabriel O’Keefe is out of his element. He’s wanted McKenna since day 1 and now he’s found out what a beautiful liar she is. He has to have her before he throws her away, which is a feat much more difficult than he anticipated, even knowing the extent of her deceit. Except things aren’t as he had believed and suddenly they are thrown into a game much more dangerous than initially assessed. As Gabe’s trouble grows, McKenna finds her safety at risk and the deeper the trouble, the higher the risk. After the tangle of lies and deception are unraveled, Gabe an McKenna will have a lot of choices to make, but saving their fragile relationship might be off the table completely with too much damage done during the course of their investigation.
If you guys haven’t read any of this series, there is a warning that some critical plot points are revealed in this book for one (or more) of the previous books in the series. I haven’t read the rest of the series and this is book 4. While I didn’t have any difficulty following along and was sure that there were things mentioned that would have to do with a previous book or three, nothing that blatantly interfered with my reading enjoyment occurred. I don’t feel like anything too life-shattering was mentioned but having not read the previous books, I am in no way an expert. That said if you don’t want to risk any spoilers, it might be safer to read this series in order.
I really enjoyed both Gabe, McKenna, and all of the supporting characters – with the exception of the evil goons, of course. McKenna is a strong character who has been through a lot and has made her own way. With the exception of her tunnel-vision regarding her brother, she was a likeable character. I wanted to slap her regarding the enabling qualities she possesses with Evan and, even though we were prepared for her next moves in Evan’s case, I found that habit annoying. But when put into perspective, you can almost understand why she does what she does concerning her brother Gabe is that quintessential alpha male billionaire. He’s got money and power, but he’s an average guy who prefers working behind the bar, to the daily monotonous CEO grind. Ha! Who am I kidding? No billionaire is an average guy despite his dislike for corporate life. 😊 He’s connected and he and his self-made billionaire buddies are all at the center of some serious scandal which apparently spans the length of the series. I have to say that even though these guys are crazy intuitive, it was a quite a refreshing change to see them make a mistake and accuse the wrong person initially. Alphas making a massive mistake isn’t a common component. All of Gabe’s friends very obviously had their own back stories and the more they were involved, the more I liked them. I would definitely read the series in its entirety based on these charming characters; each bringing a vital piece to their life-long friendship. I’m looking for a story for Alex, Ryder’s hacker, next. Hopefully there are plans for her. Supposedly it’s the end of the series, but you never know … And since I’m speculating, there are a couple of other “potential couples” mentioned in the epilogue, so I’ll hold out for the next installment – or a spin-off … 😊
Overall, this is a great book with a little bit of everything – brooding hero, strong female lead, loyal friends, an annoying mother, suspense, betrayal, hackers, redemption, a titch of BDSM, bars, sex clubs, billionaires and the women who have captured them, crazy hot sex … Yep, a bit of everything! I do have one compliant – the villain didn’t get his in my opinion. I feel like there could still be an axe to grind and if he’s the same scoundrel from the previous books (which I am not sure of), then really? That’s all? But technically there are two scoundrels and I felt like they could have dealt with that one just a bit more severely as well. Granted, they are upstanding guys that have been wronged, and wouldn’t stoop to the level of their temporary oppressors, but dang! If it truly is the end of the series, get it handled! And here is where I feel like Alex would come in nicely. Just saying. I’m pretty sure fans of the series would have no objection to visiting these characters again. But either way, fans of romantic suspense will find this read (and most likely the series) fascinating and engaging. The evil-doers will piss you off, the sizzling romance will excite you, the captivating plot will thrill you, and the emotionally charged characters will charm you. All in all, an enjoyable read!
Kindle version provided by RandomHouse Loveswept/Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I liked Gabe. Strong, loyal, and decent his story was easy to become invested in. I wish I could say the same for his love interest McKenna. This woman was weak, lacked self respect, and common sense. She enabled her brother and chose him above a man who loves her. She didn't help Evan she helped destroy him. I desperately wanted Gabe to not settle with her. I was hoping for a not so happy ending to this story. She went back to Gabe because he bailed her out financially. She felt compelled to do it. I don't see why that is any different than her ǹeed to care for Evan. I think she needs the drama as much as he is addicted to gambling. I hate to say this book rubbed me the wrong way.
That first chapter had me going, "Gabe what the hell are you doing?" Poor McKenna had no idea what was coming her way. I can understand Gabe's frustration but he handled that so badly. And it was really big of McKenna to put all that aside and actually get on board with help him get down to the bottom of things. All in all, this series has been quite an adventure and really fun to read.
Kennedy’s emotional and erotic Dirty Little Secrets series is based on four men who are bound together by friendship, business, and BDSM. Cuffed By His Charm is the fourth story in this series and deals with the last man standing-billionaire Gabe O’Keefe. Book three revealed who has been selling Gabe and his friends’ out to the tabloid Gotcha. Now he has to figure out why and how to stop them. A spin off the Club Sin series, each story in here focuses on one couple with a strong ongoing arc. While you don’t have to read the Club Sin series to understand this one, I do recommend reading this series in order.
Kennedy opens on a tense scene with Gabe storming the castle (actually his pub) to confront McKenna Archer, the supposed person behind the bugs and tabloid stories. Gabe is heartbroken and angry that this woman whom he trusted has betrayed him. He uses their sexual attraction against her, engaging in rough sex as a way to punish her, before demanding she confesses. Her repeated denials only further anger Gabe more so he forces her to go to with him to Blackstone Security, hoping Ryder can break her. Only, while there he learns that he was wrong.
Very, very wrong.
McKenna is shocked, hurt, and confused. She can’t believe Gabe thinks she would betray him. At Ryder’s office, she learns of the bugs and watches a security tape only to learn that it’s her brother has been using her. Again. He is the one selling the information to the tabloid. Literally her brother’s keeper, McKenna agrees to help Gabe and Ryder locate Evan as long as they don’t hurt him.
I have been looking forward to Gabe’s story. The multimillionaire owner of a popular chain of Irish pubs and an exclusive BDSM club, Gabe has it all except for the woman he wants-McKenna Archer, his employee. Gabe has a strict policy of not dating employees but McKenna tests his resolve every day. His quiet yearnings had me curious to see how Kennedy would overcome his obstacles. The beginning showed great promise. Heavily character driven, Kennedy builds on the tense romance with it’s forbidden vibe as it unfurls against the mystery of Evan and his connection to the tabloid. Emotionally fractured, Gabe and McKenna try to find a way to repair the damage to their relationship and start anew while looking for Evan for answers.
Unfortunately, this story peaks way early and never recovers. Gabe and McKenna never move beyond a superficial level and frankly, they’re boring. The emotional connection I was looking for never fully develops. Intense sex scenes and repetitive erotic dialogue showcase the sexual chemistry between them but completely overwhelms the romance. Kennedy tries to make us believe they are falling in love but for the life of me, I couldn’t see why. I think a large part of this is the very short time span this takes place in. Less than a week, I believe. It doesn’t help that a majority of the mystery takes place off scene through a third party. So we spin our wheels listening to them have sex in between McKenna giving excuse after excuse for her brother’s actions while Gabe beats himself up over his actions. And yes, I had a hard time getting over Gabe action myself. Even though he told her to tell him if it wasn’t what she wanted, he is still her boss, he still grabbed her demanding sex, and it felt abusive.
Various familiar faces drift in and out of the story with no real purpose beyond pushing the story forward. Manufactured drama and outrage wear on you as you struggle to reach the end. Evan and the tabloid were the most positive aspects of the story and Kennedy only spends about 10% of her time on them. She pushes the main conflict and arc to resolution only to leave some parts unexplained and unbelievable. McKenna’s actions towards the end made her unreliable in my eyes as a strong partner for Gabe relationship wise and I ended the book disappointed overall.
GRADE: D
This is the 4th book in the Dirty Little Secrets series and we finally get Gabe O'Keefes's story. Gabe may be rich and likes his sex a little dirty (why else would you own a sex club?) but what most people don't know is that enjoys being a pub owner and serving beer, not the CEO to his huge company. They might not also know that Gabe has been lusting after McKenna Archer, a bartender that work for him. Since Kenna is an employee, she is hands off but when she ends up as the source for all the personal leaks of Gabe and his best friends to Gotcha! magazine, all bets are off.
Damn, you do not want to cross Gabe when he is not happy!
It quickly comes to light that Kenna's brother Evan is behind all the leaks and not Kenna, which leaves Gabe feeling a little guilty. When Kenna realizes something is wrong regarding her brother, Gabe and his friends step in to help. It was a twisty, turnie ride these two had to go on to find Evan and stop the leaks. I really loved how Gabe helped Kenna even though he'd rather have her brother rot in hell for the things he did to him and his friends. Overall, this was another great addition to this series with all your favorite alpha DC men back together. I really liked how loyal Kenna was, especially to her brother, even if he didn't always deserve it. And I really enjoyed the happy ending that Gabe and Kenna finally got!
