"With the human population growing and alien refugees pouring in from around the galaxy, Earth is becoming too overcrowded to sustain itself—and the solar system is filling up with the alien overflow. Advanced technology from the Alpha Centauri and Vatusan systems offers one possible solution. It's time to explore new planets and see if any uninhabited ones can be claimed.

The President and First Lady, aka Jeff and Kitty Katt-Martini, aren't supposed to be on this mission, but what looks like a snafu during a political photo op on the newly christened Distant Voyager spaceship turns out to be a call for help from a planet that might be Earth's salvation...or its destruction.

The discovery of a world at the opposite end of the galaxy that seems like it could be a twin to Earth creates the usual issues for Kitty & Company. It also raises questions of Z'porrah and Ancient influence—not to mention cloning, the multiverse, and, scariest of all, whether or not the Black Hole Universe Police are starting to take too much of an interest in this particular universe."

It feels like yesterday this series started and yet we're already on book sixteen!?!

With more and more alien refugees arriving in our solar system Kitty and her crew have quite a lot of work on their hands keeping the peace and finding everyone suitable homes. That would be more than enough to keep them busy on its own but when they receive a distress call from the other side of the galaxy they suddenly find themselves on an intergalactic mission that could either save the universe, or end it.

There aren't many series that are still going this strong by the time they reach book 16 but Gini Koch never fails me and this book has all her trademark humour, fantastic characters and fast paced action. Not only do we get to spend time with many of our favourite characters (lets face it there are now too many for all of them to have a starring role in every book!) but we get to meet a whole host of new ones who I'm sure we'll be seeing more of in the future. I absolutely love seeing Kitty and Jeff back in the thick of the action again, things slowed down a little for a few books when they were the ambassadors but now they seem to have more freedom to go on adventures again and that's when they're really at their best - when they're coming up with crazy schemes to save the day.

I'm not going to say too much more because fans of this series will already know exactly what to expect from this book. Instead I'll just confirm that you're in for one hell of a treat and let you get on with enjoying the ride!

Kitty and Jeff are back, and this time they are on a delightful space adventure. Gini Koch brings her signature zany adventures and snarky humor to her newest installment and it's everything I could hope for. I devoured Aliens Abroad and immediately wished the next was available.

Gini Koch’s Alien novels are fun, fast-paced and laugh out loud funny.  You never have to worry, Kitty and her friends are guaranteed to be able to solve any problem thrown their way (the weirder the better) and make more friends and allies while doing it.  For those looking to jump immediately in feet first, I would recommend taking a breath and reading the earlier novels first. Aliens Abroad has not only Kitty and her entire family, but also includes most of the retinue she has gathered over the entire series.  At times it seems a bit like camp where the counsellor has a clipboard full of names - ready to call roll at any time. Needless to say everyone who is there gets to do “something” that requires the special abilities that only they have. It can be a bit tedious at times, not to mention hard to keep track of everyone.  Kitty is the Queen Bee, coordinating everyone and keeping everyone happy (as well as solving all the problems thrown her way). It doesn’t leave a lot of room for plot but for the most part there is so much going on that you don’t have time to miss it.

Is Aliens Abroad entertaining? Yes, but it will definitely appeal most to fans of the series.  If you are a newcomer looking for a strongly plotted science fiction novel, you are better off making a different selection.

Gina Koch continues her Aliens series with Aliens Abroad.Kitty-Cat Martina has survived her role as wife of the alien President of the United States and has now been sent out to save the galaxy. What could go wrong? Kitty has to save sentient planets, sentient rabbits, shipwrecked explorers and whatever else the galactic superbeings throw at her and all with her family along. Get ready for another non stop action and upside down adventure.

Kitty and friends are off on a new adventure. Gina Koch just keeps thing up new dangers for this great group of characters. This time a new space ship takes off with all aboard and no chance to turn around. Another fun time with great lines and some interesting musical choices

This is such a meaty, intricate story, it felt like 4 books in one. Each piece of the adventure builds to the next one. It was thrilling to know after each resolution, there was more yet to come. Countless new aliens and new planets for Kitty and the gang to explore. Old enemies resurface. New friends help save the day. This was a delight from start to finish.

Kitty is back and once again, she storms through my world creating a complex but exhilarating adventure for me to get lost in.

Kitty and her unique and quirky crew find themselves on another adventure that provides lots of action, suspense, thrills, danger, drama and fun to keep readers well entertained from beginning to end. Also, who can get enough of meeting interesting new aliens, visiting awe inspiring worlds, dangerous adversaries that may or may not remain an adversary and of course delightful animals that add their own special twist to each and every story.

Aliens Abroad give readers a surprising journey right along with Kitty as the whole crew is taken unawares by … well I let you figure that one out for yourself as there are several suspects. The journey is fast paced, thrilling and full of fun as well as wonderful adrenaline pumping events that keep readers on the edge of their seats.

Gini Koch is such a wonderful storyteller as she paints vibrant images that make it easy for readers to become caught up in her fascinating world but she also has created such fun loving and quirky characters that readers never know what to expect from them at any given time which just adds to the overall suspense and spontaneity of the stories and certainly keeps readers on their toes. I enjoyed another exhilarating visit with Kitty and her fascinating world and I of course after that ending I am waiting on pins and needles to find out what happens next.

I was unable to finish the book because it did not hold my interest. Instead of giving a review since I did not complete it I will withhold my opinions. Thank you for the copy.

Aliens Abroad is the sixteenth novel in Gini Koch’s rollicking Alien science fiction action series featuring Katherine "Kitty" Katt-Martini as the heroine who kicks butts, takes names, and rocks out to various cuts of music as she is doing so. As the story opens, Kitty is contacted by an unknown alien who asks for her help. This is the first time the author has introduced us to the so called Dreamscape, which no, has nothing to do with the movie from 1984.

Shortly thereafter, on the day of the launch of the new starship called Distant Voyager, Kitty, her family, a slew of random others, including most of Jeff's cabinet, are sent on a mission of utmost importance. Apparently, the fate of the galaxy is in jeopardy, and Kitty, as the Warrior Queen, is once again called to stand up and protect others as she has done this entire series. Kitty brings her usual stock of sarcasm and snark to the story along with an intelligence that is often overlooked by those she has spent almost decade with fighting aliens and saving the universe.

This story is one with three different missions that Kitty and her crew must solve before moving on to the next stop. At each stop they are sent on, billions will die unless they figure out a way to stop the impending galactic apocalypse from happening. This is brilliantly thought out story, which impresses me since this is the 16th installment in the series and things still haven't gotten stale for me. In this story, a different super-consciousness guides the crew of the Distant Voyager to places that really need Kitty's unique ways of solving difficult issues.

I love the relationships that Kitty has with each of these characters, especially Lilith. They all adore Kitty because Kitty has shown that she can change the minds of even the most cynical person to her side. I am curious as one who has read this series from the beginning. I don't honestly remember if the author has ever left such a stunning ending to her story before. I will definitely have to go back and re-read my reviews to see if this has happened. This stunning ending really leaves me eager to pick up the next book in the series.

One of the more interesting selling points I read recently about this series said, "this breakneck series includes plenty of sex and last-ditch efforts to save the world—imagine Men in Black and True Lies having a girls’ night out in Area 51."

You’d think they would have learned by now, but an average press conference can turn Kitty’s world upside down bringing her entire family with her.

A simple press reveal for their newest AI ship takes Kitty, her husband and president, Jeff, her children and all the top political cabinets and most of their children for a haphazard and delightfully Kitty-esque adventure. Fighting evil, finding and collecting an arrangement of furry and not so furry friends to add to Kitty’s menagerie.

Talk about your high octane, hilariously funny, outrageously animated, A.D.D. ultimate adventure and that was just the first chapter. Just joking, seriously, it was the entire book and I absolutely loved it!

Oh, wow, this book was just freaking amazing! I think it's the longest yet in the series, and yeah, so much was packed into it! It was like a series of mini-adventures, all giving Kitty a piece of the puzzle of what the heck was going on! It was just so freaking great to read!

First off, I have two things to say. 1st, I love the cover, and how she's standing in front of a poster advertising the Distant Voyager, and it's starting to come apart with the gunshots. 2nd, we get Kitty's name for the events in ALient Education-Operation Fundraiser! Yeah! And that it's about 1 1/2 years since that happened, which, boo, we missed parts of their lives, but yeah, they didn't have anything threatening the world!

This is the 2nd book to mostly not take place on Earth, besides Alien Separation, they mostly stay on Earth, Universal Alien doesn't count, because while it's a different universe, it's still Earth! So yeah, that was new, and there was so much that was explored! So that was really cool!

Of course things can't go easily for the gang, so when the ship takes off before it's supposed to, with a bunch of random people-or maybe not so random after all-and with a rebellious AI, that of course Kitty names, it's an adventure in and of itself!

It was so interesting to see more of our corner of space, though they do go to the edges, the less travelled, even more so than Earth is. They meet some very interesting people, and have a lot of adventures, and when the time comes, brings everything that they've learned from the adventures, and I loved how it all came together!

The ending was just pure evil! I mean, they won, things were good, and while there was that darkness earlier, well, now it seems to be a problem! And it just ends! Evil cliffhanger ending! I need more, I'm desperate for it!

I just absolutely loved this book, it was just so freaking great, and I can't wait for the next one!

I have just four words for you: GO READ THIS BOOK.

Katherine Kitty-Katt is a force to reckon with and her determination to save the world is why I enjoyed her character so much. It's a lot like a superhero comic where the character themselves is so invested in their cause that you can't help but be invested in it too. Not to mention, the main character is married woman who makes matrimony sexy - proving that it's not the end of Independence for a woman. If anything, she and Jeff were a power couple and I love how well they worked together while maintaining separate identities.

I’m serious, people. Aliens Abroad brought fresh elements to the science-fiction novel and it drew me in like the gravitational pull of a black hole. It’s the kind of story that left me anxiously chewing the inside of my cheek as my heart raced and I couldn’t (much to my own disdain) read fast enough. From the first page, I was tangled in the story and invested in all the characters. Nothing is more important than that for me, and it’s why I recommend you launch yourself into this book.

I can’t believe that there are already sixteen books in this series! Gini Koch always manages to deliver a fun and exciting installment to the series. For this particular one, there was a little bit of a wait since there were some delays, but rest assured that ALIENS ABROAD still holds true to the rest of the series. You can expect a lot of Kitty’s signature humor and charm as well as some epic Sci Fi plot twists.

Many of you have been asking if you can read this series out of order. I wouldn’t suggest it. While Koch does give a quick recap at the beginning of every book, there’s sixteen books in this series, people. There’s no way she can put all the details no matter how she writes in the beginning of the book. For the best experience, I would suggest starting at the beginning.

In this particular book, I found that the humor was spot on. I enjoy all the books, but there were just so many LOL moments in this one. A lot of time it’s just Kitty’s thoughts and narrations, but I guess that’s why she is the star of the show. She really does stand out in the crowd and I love her for it.

As the series has progressed, I love that the world continues to grow. There are new characters and universes that come into play, expanding the epic world that Koch has already created. I think if you’re unsure about Sci Fi and want something to dip your toes in, this is a wonderful series to try out.

ALIENS ABROAD is definitely worth the wait! Filled with humor, charm, and aliens, the Kitty Katt series is Sci Fi at its best!

Buy this book now! This series just keeps delivering excellent stories one right after another. Ms. Koch is one of the most creative and wacky authors I have ever come across. This series is phenomenal and should be read in the order written. Jumping into the series at this point may be a bit rough and not as enjoyable because there is quite a bit to catch up on.

I knew going into this book that I had to start it in the day time. If I started it at night, I'd read til the wee hours in the morning and suffer a horrible book hangover the next day. Luckily, I spent Christmas eve enjoying this completely delectable book. It is FANTASTIC!

Kitty never gets any downtime. She is constantly on the go, protecting first the States, then Earth and finally other planets and aliens. One would think that is it. But now, she now has to fight to save the galaxy because there is a little something weird going on and if she isn't there to stop it, life as we know it goes KABOOM! No pressure, right?

No lie, this story is action packed from the get go. There is no slowing down this crazy train. It is exhausting as Kitty runs from one disaster to another. What is more frustrating is that it seems she is fixing someone else's mistakes. In essence, her job is Mr. Wolf, the fixer. She figures out what is going on and then comes up with a solution that is totally left field. Okay, I have to lie here. For me, none of her plans are left field. And all the references Kitty uses works for me because I have read, watched and listened to the same things. For nerds or geeks that enjoyed comic books, super hero cartoons and listened to a lot of "older" music, this book totally works for us. There are so many pop culture references from when I was growing up, it makes me feel like I'm part of Kitty's team. Most of these references are nods to classics from the States. I am not sure this book would translate as well to someone who didn't grow up in the 80s and 90s in the States. Since I did, this book brings me easily into the inner circle of Kitty's super team. I love it.

Ms. Koch's writing voice is so unique. Her characters are snarky and over the top at times. There is something so special about Ms. Koch's writing style that I just can't quite explain it. It has to be experienced. She creates an amazing world with richest and it does feel as if the author may be a bit ADHD. She bounces from one topic to another and the connections are lightening fast. I love that. The frenetic pace coupled with multiple meanings for actions is what pulls me into this world. It is every expanding and the loveable characters just keep on being lovable. Whilst this book is complete with a lot of saving and solution delivery, it ends on a cliff hanger. Perhaps we finally confront the dark secret in the closet. The ending of this story hits with a big bang and just as the heroes sail into the sunset, something new pounces. I can not wait for the next book in the series. This book is highly recommended to fantasy readers who like eccentric snarky characters who dance to the beat of their own drum.

I love the Kitty series, and I think that this is one of my favorite in the series. I enjoyed the mini missions, and am looking forward to the next book. I am enjoying the continuation of the kids' character development, and want a spin-off series with Lizzie soon.

She's done it again! I don't know how she does it but this is book cazillion in the series and the characters and story are as fresh and CUNY as in book one!!! Kudos!!!! My only stipulation is it probably best to start the series with book one if new to this author it Williams the storyline a bit more smooth, but u could get away with jumping into the story here if you absolutely must, LOL!!

It was so worth the wait you will not want to miss this adventure. It could be called Kitty's crazy vacation, we get to met a bunch of new "Aliens" and their fun worlds...but don't get me started on the clowns (there should be a warning label that these chapters might cause nightmares) other then that part I giggled and grin all the way through.  It is so hard to find authors that can make you laugh and hold your breath in the same book but Gini Koch is a master at it.  Now I have to go reread it again & again & again... I might skip over the clowns though.
