Nourish by Katie Farrell is a book that applies God's Word to your relationship with food. One thing I loved about this book was the great Scriptures throughout. The author explains her own battle with anorexia and bulimia. I think this book would be most suited to helping people dealing with similar issues. Overall, it is a good read. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

My heart broke as I read Katie’s story and then it rejoiced as I read about how God redeemed her. Such a powerful testimony. Katie definitely has a Genesis 5020, what the enemy tried to use to harm her she now uses to encourage and help others.

This book is about much more than just food, it’s about overall good health, but especially spiritually, which, I believe, is the root of ultimate health.

At the end of each chapter is a recipe too, yum! Since I follow the Trim Healthy Mama plan I probably won’t make most of the sweet stuff since it uses honey and baking stevia but they sound good.

This is a great book for anyone who is struggling in any area of their lives to get a refresher or wake up to the truth of who God says you are.

Nourish Is such an open, real, loving, touching and amazingly glorifying book. The author truly opens herself up wholly in this book. I was so taken with it right off. She starts off telling you how when she was younger she had to move to a new town and move to a new school. When she goes to a new school 1st day of lunch a boy gives her a note and guess what happens - that note is a crude picture of a fat girl. She goes and cries in the bathroom for a very long time and develops an eating disorder for many years. Then what happens? Well the book is so unreal and so informative and touching you must get it.
