In this episode, Menchú and Sal travel to Germany, and face the disappearance of two children, while Asanti, Liam, and Grace, stay behind.
The story of this episode resembled a fairy tale. The two children, Hugo and Gudrun, run away from their stepmother into the woods, just to find a witch’s house.
The episodes are getting more intense as we’re nearing the end of the season. I can’t wait to read more.
I love Bookburners. This episode is a leap forward in the story, thanks to Perry. This season, the "old magic" and stories from folklore are wonderful. I continue to recommend Bookburners specifically and Serial Box generally to everyone. As a teacher, the serial concept is very appealing for youth today. I would love to see a G rated version (maybe PG) that I could use with students.
Stop me if you've heard this before - our story begins with the tale of Hugo and Gudrun, two children who wander into a forest to get away from their "evil" stepmother, only to find that there are hungrier things in the world than they knew...
Enter our team, and while they have to tackle this thing head on, the overall story arc is not neglected by any means.
