Heartwarming glimpse into the mind and heart of an eight-year-old boy with a vivid imagination and a dangerous curiosity about fire. This story makes clear how the adults in a child's life can make a huge difference, just by being present, attentive, and not forgetting what it's like to be eight. This is Mark Fins' first novel, and it is a masterpiece. I hope someday to read his second novel which he has recently begun to formulate.
